Okey, so I have seen the conjuring 2 like 15 times or so and I have NEVER seen the Valak spelling in the scene when Ed and Lorrain are in the kitchen.... and you spotted it just like that.... Maybe it's just me not really truly paying attention when I watch movies 😂😂😂 but holy shit my jaw dropped when Cody pointed it out... I need to go and watch it again 😂😂

For anyone who doesn't know, the actress who plays Valak "The Nun" (Bonnie Aarons) was in the Princess Diaries movies as Baroness Joy von Troken.
And she's also a nun in the new show Mrs. Davis 🤭 this time tho she's a regular nun lol
She's the creepy person who comes out from behind the wall in Mulholland Drive, as well.

Conjuring 2 is actually one of my top favourite movies ever! Watching it in a crowded cinema was one of the best experiences in my life.
Lorraines death was actually pretty recent, April 18th, 2019 to be exact. Ed died August 23rd, 2006.
To be fair, the real life Warrens were horrible people who conned dozens of innocent people. Wherever they are, I doubt they made it to heaven.
Factoids:
1. the actual Warrens were not this cute and cuddly couple in the movies. They were basically con artists and there is alot you can look into if you're interested. It's Patrick and Vera that make this couple awesome but the real Warrens were def not.
2. The Amityville Horror haunting was a hoax, the Lutz family the movie is based on eventually admitted it and the Warrens were involved
3. The murders in the house however, actually happened. Before the Lutz family moved in, the DeFeo family lived there and the eldest son Ronald Jr. killed his parents and all siblings one night. Nothing supernatural involved tho
4. If you watch the Nun movies, the lead is Vera Famiga's sister Tessa (she was in a few AHS seasons) ✌🏻

Cody is like the 2nd person ever in all the reactions of this movie I've seen to get the valak hints.
Eventhough it's dramatised obviously, the Enfield haunting is probably our most well known haunting here, the photos you saw when they were at the pub were real photos taken, Janet's voice did change to that of an old man's, and neighbors claim they saw her levitating at her bedroom window.

As a person who lived in England in a haunted house, this movie hits WAY too close to home.
As someone who has seen seen the entire Conjur-Verse( or at least up to date cause there's more ahead) , I totally recommend watching the entire Franchise in Release order.
The Crooked Man was supposed to have his own spin-off, but they semi-recently announced that it had been canceled.
When you eventually react to The VVitch, be sure to have subtitles on since the cast speak in a old 17th century new england dialect and one of the actors has a very thick accent that makes it hard to understand what he's saying and the ending is heavily up to interpretation
he has a really thick accent but also the deepest speaking voice i think ive heard.
Clocking Valak so early was INCREDIBLE

Cody was the first person I've ever seen noticing Valak's name around the house before the reveal during the climax. I myself only found out after watching a video on things I might have missed in the movie, and I usually have great attention to detail. Sharp eye, there.

Fun fact, Maurice stayed with the family for over 2 years after the Warrens left and remained a close father like figure to the girls and good friend to their mother the rest of his life. Also the real vide footage of her while possessed is online and creepy as hell along with the photos of the hauntings. There’s SO much video, audio and photos for this case along with police reports from the officers that came by. It’s wild and terrifying, don’t go down the rabbit hole unless you’re ready. lol 😮

Paranormal nerd here! There's actually something in the idea of more people attracting ghosts, in the Enfield case it was suggested that the collective energy of the children either created or attracted the poltergeist.

The Warrens died and are buried in the state I live in Connecticut. Their daughter, Judy, is still alive she’s 72 and is married.
Valak is super scary and I feel she’s scarier in the conjuring movie 😅 the first Nun movie was trash and the second one is a tad bit better.

If you notice, at 20:30 that goes back to the first Conjouring when Ed mentions Lorraine saw something horrible during an investigation.
It's so weird because valek was so much scarier here than in the first nun.

Anabelle Creation is full of scary moments and could be the scariest one of them all.
I have watched soooo many channels react to this movie and I have personally watched it. I have never had anyone notice the Valek's in the background! That was so interesting
I thought this was a great sequel but I still prefer the original. Although this gave us such a horror icon in Valak the demonic nun. Where the original is a 9.5/10 the conjuring 2 is a 9/10.

As much fun as this movie is, I have a hard time disconnecting the art from the facts.
Before Conjuring 2 came out, I unintentionally blessed and cursed myself by watching the BBC mini series The Enfield Haunting (2015, currently available on Prime & Tubi in the US) which was SO GOOD! However, because of the lack of Ed and Loraine in the mini series I was confused as to why the upcoming movie was about Enfield.
Turns out Ed and Loraine DID a visit, but it was for only one day... they also weren't invited 😅😂
At the time this movie came out Lorraine was still alive. She was consulted on the movie and visited set.
Ofc she’d want to be a part of a franchise that paints her as some good person💀
Her and her husband were frauds who took advantage of people in need of help, then used their stories to make book and get money off them

Madison Wolfe, who played Janet, isn't even British! She's American, from Louisiana! I was already so taken by her performance, but when I found that out, only increased my appreciation for her talent! she even fooled all the critics with her accent.
