@@crashboxsinofstars2865 the original album cover had a picture of a baby underwater staring at a dollar note tied to a string in front of him, in this case the baby human is replaced with flurry heart and the dollar not is replaced with an equestrian gold bit.
Also the title "smells like colt spirit" is a play on the original title "smells like teen spirit".
You don't pony the song, but the line "our little group has always been, and always will until the end" resonates as pony-specific for those of us who have been here since the beginning of the fandom.

I like the way that this is a cover where i can actually understand what the lyrics are. However, they seem to make less sense than the indecipherable moans i'm used to.
