JP is the reason I went from drugs and depression to now going to university and sober. Hope to tell him in person one day.
Wow man! Good luck to you!
Orbitz very proud of you, you are an example to others
Good luck ignoring most of your professors and graduating asap 😛
As you probably know, he thinks it is a miracle that humans can get up and go to work amid great suffering, and so I think he would be positively astonished by your courageous struggle forward/upward (it might make him cry!). One of the things I love about him is that he is so full of wonder/awe, and his awe and wonder seems to focus on the individuals around him. Go man! You inspire me.
Amazing. Thank God.
Thank you Dr. Peterson.
I am a physician. I truly admire your ideas greatly. I noticed that during this one hour discussion, your voice was on the verge of breaking maybe six times. I know you are under stress from multiple directions, and I hope you are in control of your own health. Please know that you are too valuable of a human being to neglect yourself.
With deepest respect,
Dr. John D. McKenzie
His wife has been sick and recently underwent a surgery. That is probably the reason for his emotion as when you are discussing issues that truly matter in life and your wife is ill they cut even deeper.
Jordan wept I guess? I am not a Christian, but I did read the New Testament and haven't noticed a single reference mentioning that Jesus ever laughed or smiled - so by that standard Mr. Peterson is one jolly fella Tarantella.
franky g explain the verse to someone like myself who Isn’t spiritual? Allow me to understand your point? I
Which of his ideas do you admire greatly, put another way what is something really insightful he has said? It all looks like the obvious wrapped in vocabulary and self importance to me.
You should probably read his books, then watch some of his lectures. There is nothing new under the sun, but he puts ideas together in unique ways and gives powerful explanations. You need to be receptive to looking at basic concepts in new ways. One commonly discussed example involves personal responsibility. Another is facing the evil that is contained within each of us, (along with the good).
From the last sentence in your reply, I suspect you have made up your mind, after very little review of his material. You really should look again.
Peace,
John

This is the first time I've seen Dr.Jordan Peterson treated as a GUEST with genuine hospitality. The kindness given him gave him permission to be himself, to the core. He loves humankind and his spirit grieves for the suffering. What a marvelous man. Thank you Dennis for blessing him with your hospitality. This touched me deeply. 💓
Yes and he carries a level of humility here that I haven't always seen in his videos
“Things could be so much better, if you were better.” Responsibility at its finest.
Why does the average person need to be better in order that the world be better? I am pretty sure the worst people are the people in power. Why doesn't he go to them and tell them to be better? The average person wants a good life and help those around them. It is not in our nature to be evil. Go to hollywood and see evil in rare form but he is not calling them out, he is calling us out. Screw this guy I'm out.
Chris Dumont in order to change others, you yourself need to be changed. How can you possible change others if you’re not willing to change yourself?
@BartVanLinschoten so basically back to inaction of good people allows the evil to prosper kind of thing? Yeah I see your point thanks for calling me out, I still feel attacked and think certain groups need Jesus more than others lol. It is like the way schools teach, they spend so much time helping the slow kid that the smart one never gets pushed further. Why does the one already doing better have to always suffer. The world sucks and I didn't make it that way! But countless times have I helped people young and old, how much more seriously is expected. This guy talks a game but how many people have been helped or made felt better of false teachings (about religion in my view, science he's got it down). Hey I am not here to argue with you, I am just raising a red flag, If I am wrong so be it but if I am not, well I tried.
@@Jaenjang When I was younger I would always feel the need for revenge like a punk, then I grew up = change? Before I had a child I didn't pay attention to cars that said baby on board, now I take extra care = change? Before I didn't understand the Bible, maybe I still don't but now makes much more sense from years of research = change? Before I made sure to make money whenever doing services for people, now I pick and choose when to take payment according to factors and fairness = change? Am I not willing to change? We all do! No? Accept someone like Jerry Nadler who even after NO collusion and NO obstruction still seems to want to impeach. Who's not willing to change? lol
Chris Dumont your comment just shows your ignorance and narcissistic view of society. Change yourself before you dare tell others to change
I’m not crying at the end out of emotion, but out of pure joy knowing I’m becoming a better man for myself first, my family and in turn society❤️
Never in my 35 years on earth have I cried so much at the words expressed by these two.
I've never felt a connection to the world, to people as I have in the passed 6 months, and I owe it to these two and the words they have used to show me what it means to be a person, a good person.
Listening to them has made me feel like i have been floating through life, I've always been told I'm different for my perspective on life and took those words to mean that I am just odd, now I know I'm not odd, I'm just a good person, a good thinker, compassionate... some have called me selfish for not giving enough and that my words of advice to take individual responsibility for actions is not born out of a lack of love, bit a overflow of love for helping people better themselves with the challenges they face.
I just would like others to find the same conclusions.
💖💖💖💖💖.........
U U joy is the fruit of faith, by the grace of God, a feeling we have that moves us, spiritually, but the 7 devils, ie, passions, can quench the said spirit, and these passions, metaphysicaly speaking, are acted out in our mortal members, hence, Luther's bondage of the will, in subjection to our devilish corrupt inclinations, but when we can with a repentant and sinful heart, believe the testimony of sins forgiven in Christ's name and blood, we have the transcendent feeling of overwhelming and ecstatic joy, hence, the double edged sword of the spirit, sorrow over sin and joy over the forgiveness of sins, but my point being, the passion of the sins forgiven is felt, with in us, ... some have passed out from the intoxicating substance of Christ's love and had to say.. be still my soul, these experiences I believe are felt by true believers
anonymous person haha I meant sad emotion, was caught up in my feels. I stand corrected !

Man when JP answers a question he really answers it...you best sit back and prepare for a roller coaster ride of emotion, wisdom and some hard hitting truths. I could listen to this guy all day everyday!

What a powerful discussion
Jordan Peterson is an angel sent upon this earth. I am grateful that i have hear his words. Thank you. He has a pure heart.
TWO GIANTS.
Hearing Jordan explain the "I act as if there is a God" pierced me to and through my soul... I do not cry, I am too heartless, but that is so True....God bless everyone. God please safeguard Jordan, he opens eyes and ears.
Valentine Kosyak Jordan needs to commit his life to Jesus and His Word! It is NOT about living a “better life” but SALVATION of our souls and SERVICE to the Lord! Preach the Gospel The glory is ALL to the Lord Jesus!
That is great for Jordan to act as if there is a God. But Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot acted as if there was no God and became the most successful, the most powerful men in human history while at the same time destroying tens of millions of innocent lives in the process of achieving their success.......
Actually, JBP's "God" is not the Christian God but a god of his own making. Therefore, JBP's "God" is JBP himself. This is basic logic.
Valentine Kosyak it is not surprising too me that this resonates with “non-crying heartless person”.
This is one of the most pragmatic introspective statements I’ve ever heard.
@@giselefranca3182 Who are we to say he hasn't. I have been asking this question of him for a long time, hoping to hear that he has. Will that validate more of what he says? Will it give me permission to follow his teaching? Luke 9:49 But Jesus said to him, "Do not stop him. For the one who is not against you is for you." The agape love Jesus speaks of is not easy. It comes from sacrifice, "laying down your life for your friends". Jordan is not speaking about works salvation, he is speaking of the actions that come out of the kind of love that Jesus loved us with. I don't think for a moment that he believes his works will get him into heaven. If anything, I think he believes his "works" condemn him as them condemn us all. God is full of so much grace we can't fathom it. I feebly try to have a just a little for others. Bless you Gisele. The exultation is true and right. I just feel less and less inclined to try and figure out who is saved, and more inclined rather to test what I take as teaching against the Bible text. I pray for Jordan, as he stands for truth in the heat of hate, that Jesus will be near to him.
😍. I love how humble this guy is. And intelligent. And thoughtful about the words he uses.
Rush him without thinking at your own peril. Several RUclips interviews will attest. Of course, if you think, you probably won't go there.
Like 'enforced monogamy'?
I noticed (and loved) that at times, when JP was formulating an answer - or just completing a sentence - it was akin to a physical action of his intelligence. (Leaning forward, pushing the words out...)
Thank you JP for being here and for giving so much. Thank you Lord for blessing us with JP. Grateful that he’s making a difference!

Amen!
Indeed.
In an ironic way, if it wasn't for bill C16, we may never have had the pleasure of knowing him. The good that comes from bad.
I thank God he made you JP👏🏾 i thank God for Prager, Candace, Rueben, Ayaan, douglas, Tommy, Ezra, Crowder and people trying to live lives of meaning while influencing others
I *LOVE* how absolutely humble Peterson is throughout everything.
He's helped TONS of people by telling them hard truths and exposing deep lies, but yet he keeps a thankful heart and a humble ego.
Truly the ultimate sign of greatness.
EngiNerd What hard truths and deep lies has he exposed to you? I do not mean this in a negative way.
ecxstasy perhaps the great evil that the common man is capable of. The sad default of the human spirit is evil which is why we have to take responsibility to fight it.
He won't even take credit for one of the base reasons for his outrageous success in attempting to truly help people lolol! He says he's not really a good person, he's just frightened of what he would be if he wasn't.... Even though, if he wasn't a good person, he wouldn't care either way lol...
Infinovation What is the greatest evil a man has to face? And what responsibility must he inherit to fight against such?
ecxstasy The worst struggles come from within, they aren’t with the external. Accepting the responsibility to suppress the potential for evil within u and helping make the world a better place is the ultimate and overarching goal as far as I understand from JBP
I love when Dennis shows love and respect toward someone I love and respect. That ending was sublime.
Isn’t it something?
Woo, that last 5 minutes, incredible
I have been searching for light in this age of darkness Jordan you have brought tears of pure joy out of me. Truth sets you free and I FEEL what that means now. Thank you for opening your soul to me.
Well said brother, this is a truly inspirational man, who will be quoted in years to come.
I so respect both of these men! I also trust their wisdom, honesty, goodness of heart and great oratory capability.
Indeed, the heart and wisdom of these two are pitifully lacking in today's world. They have become crucial stand-ins for the fathers so many have been deprived of by the Marxists and Postmodernists.
Brittany nobody asked you to be a dick

@@susancross6724 I am 68 and he breaks my heart to pieces and gives me hope. I cry every time I listen to his brilliance.
I am amazed and in awe at two things: 1. Why anyone thinks JP is some kind of intellectual compass, 2. Why no JP fan will go out on a limb to identify a single thing he has ever said that actually qualifies as insightful. If you don't mind, help me out with this one: Here is another JP nugget: 'Agreeableness negatively predicts success in the workplace.' What does he mean here? Being obstinate to your supervisor and coworkers is a path to promotion? Help me Jesus. JP would definitely do great as a TV evangelist. Those guys are the same blend of mellifluous and vacuous know-it-all banality.

Not true. The leftist are everywhere. I live in a small town and have no money. When I try to order books recomended by Peterson from library, the big black lady at the counter and her trans looking friend just giggle and say they never heard of them. When I write and show them what I mean they still just shake there heads. How can library profesionels not have heard of great books of the western world? Too many people want to block JP from the youth!
Dave erwin where do you live? That is appauling. Find a new library.
dave erwin I don’t think your issue is political as much as it has to do with bad librarians. Ask around I’m sure you can find a second hand copy.
That was... just...... beautiful. Truly, thank you God for making Jordan Peterson and using him to bless others. Same for Dennis Prager. Amen.
You know he doesn't really believe in god, right?
You know Prager is a Zionist?
"Why do you call me good? There is none good but God." JBP either by intellect or instinct knows that he is not good, he avoids expressing his darkness and that's the closest approximation of good a human can muster.
Beautifully said. Ethan. Beautiful indeed.
Aesir -
The idea is rooted in the New Testament where Jesus refuses to be called good, since only the Lord knows who really is good.
@@stanislavpetkovic367 Yes, to clarify, that is a quote from Jesus in the Bible not a JBP quote, but it was very relevant to what Peterson was saying in the video. He is saying something like, "How can I claim to be good when I see my inner darkness? I just hide it better than most."
In the original context, Jesus isn't afraid to claim to be good, but his claim to be good is connected to his claim to be the son of God. This man was trying to address him as a good and wise teacher, but not divine. Jesus was saying, you can't have it both ways. Given his claims, as CS Lewis said, he's either "a liar, a lunatic, or Lord."
Ethan Moon . And this is the reason Father in Heaven, sent the Comforter, to help us, when we recognize what Jordon Peterson said here, " no there is none righteous, no not one" all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. None of us can live the life of Christ, but Christ Himself, so how on earth are we ever to make it thru this world, ??? He sent His Spirit to help us, to comfort us and to overcome this world, change lives, give us hope, love beyond understanding, the abundant life, boldness to speak the truth even when your life is at stake, and most of all He promised never to leave or forsake us even when we fall short, for example , Peter's denying that he was one of His followers , and reading the shortcomings of the church in Galatia one would understand why Paul, was afraid for them. When we realize we cannot make it , without the Holy Spirit's help, no one can live the righteous life that pleases Father in Heaven, then and only then will we be moved by the Grace of God to live the abundant life that is only found in Christ Jesus because we live in Him, an thru Him. Peace;
The righteous man recognises the unrighteousness of himself because his eye is open to see the sinful nature and opposes it, only God opens the eyes of the blind, the spirit of Christ is with this man but he recognises it not, because it is the power of his righteousness, it is the power of his sight, without it, he would not recognise these things, it is not by intellect or Instinct but by the power of God, as it is written; I will send to you a counselor and he will be with you and then within you, if a man like this recognises that this light can dwell within him and remove the sinful nature and bring him into perfection, then he would walk the path of the Christ.
Christians today think that faith is just saying the right things and doing the right things and opposing the sinful nature as though this is a decision they make but it is not, it is the power of God in their life which produces it, but the Christian thinks that this is all there is, but it is not, as it is written; I will send to your counsellor who will be with you then within you, and when this occurs the man is born of Light, and this light will work it's way through the whole body like yeast in dough, and remove the sinful nature and the things pertaining to The flesh, and brings you into Perfection, but the Christian today fails to believe this therefore he fails to produce it.
Great work of both! A huge hug from a South American admirer! We're in war against the same insanity around here!

He is taking a ride on an emotional rollercoaster. Weird, lauging, crying, laughing and crying again. It's like an R&B song. Shoutout to Vivian Green.
Jesus too, wept often. For He knew & spoke "deeply." But unlike what we've been taught (most of us, that is...) Jesus was a TRUE "man's man." You had to be, to face up to the Sanhedrin in those days!! They could "take you out" at a moments notice. Most don't realize or remember this fact about Him, or them. The Sanhedrin were "The Law, the authority" for Jews. What the "San-men" said, "goes/went" for that time in Israel. (with Roman limitations)
JP, a "modern day" Jesus., of sorts. (he'd disagree, am sure, out of modesty) Who'd a thunk it yrs ago? Not him. Not by a long shot. Divine intervention? I wouldn't doubt it. 😇
He's going through some stuff now, so he's already close to tears

10:40 dr. Jordan Peterson brought me from being an atheist to opening my mind and heart to God. It's been a journey and thank you for helping me better myself. Much love and respect dr. Peterson. Thank you.
JBP made me an anti-theist and an evil manipulator who values themselves above otheres.

Jordan carries his heart on his sleeve, now I don't feel so weird to be able to cry in an instant, never wanted people to think I was an overly sensitive man...I am a climber, extreme athlete and I don't look like a sensitive man... But I feel everything and that's ok, when I hear Jordan speak and he begins to cry I also cry...
What if find interesting is that it's only been since his re emergence after his illness that he often sounds like his heart is in his throat. I honestly believe he is having a spiritual awakening. here he actually claims the Catholic Church is the way-ruclips.net/video/L47oJxwp6yg/видео.html

Yes Erika, one of Jordan Peterson's best.
I agree.
“Things would be a lot better if YOU were a lot better”. Absolutely brilliant!
That's the line that hit me the hardest, as well..
I have watched many of Dr. Peterson's videos. Thsi by far was most honest, brutally honest of most.
I agree!
That is exactly what I thought. He is right.
I think he was near the peak of his suffering before it incapacitated him, it's almost hard to watch. It's so great to see him back and better than ever.
Peterson and Prager: If only everyone could see this!
LynnColorado They can, share it everywhere!
Idk, there are better videos where they actually discuss relavent topics.
Brittany Between Jordan Peterson, Dennis Prager, and you, you seem to be the one full of hate.
@Brittany: Where in unholy hell did you get the idea that either of these men hate Christians? I have listened to Prager 3 hours a day for 15 years + many of his speeches: he spends much of his time *defending* Christians and upholding their values and culture! And JBP may not be a conventional Christian, but he does the same overall.
The more I read of your comments throughout this video, the more you are revealing the likelyhood that you are: a.) an Islamo-Leftist bot; b.) a tinfoil-hat-wearing member of the alt-Right; c.) a schizophrenic short on meds; or d.) some combination thereof.
I’d love to show this to my boyfriend, but one of two things would happen.
He’d either take one look at the time length, see DP, and then say he’s too tired or busy.
Or I’d ask him to have an open mind and watch it bc it would make me happy then he’d reluctantly sit down and then look at his phone every 5 minutes.
Dr. Peterson, you ask why do people come to listen to you. The tears. The tears for the sake of the well being of someone else. It takes courage to tell the hard truth, it takes courage to hear the hard truth. A courageous man bares himself before others. Thank you.
..."I never claim that I manage it...because it's a lot to manage properly, and you have to be careful about claiming to manage things that you cannot manage"...
a very honest answer
A lot of Christians have a saying: I am a sinner, saved by grace. It's a compact statement that encompasses the entire idea. It's a way for a believer to say how he's trying to live, acknowledge that he can't do it perfectly because he's a frail, broken human, and praising God because He's merciful to reach across to us when we can't reach across to Him.
@@jamesp8164 Correct, in that understanding is the very power of the gospel. I do find it interesting that JP resists that step. I think he prefers to stay "neutral" on the question of faith because he is addressing an audience that may by reflex reject all of his observation should he give the perception of a "blind faith" follower (beholding to a specific religious entity). Most non-believers do not grasp the concept that believers have been afforded equity in terms of "as much if not more" evidence and proofs as the rest of the world.
I would love to be sitting in that room with these two gentlemen.
@Brittany
And what do you know
@Brittany: Wow, the fact that anyone could refer to JBP and Prager, of all men, in the manner you just did is evidence of the black rot that lies at the heart of the anti-Israel Progressive-Islamist alliance.
@Brittany how are they zionist?
Dennis Prager is a conservative/right-wing Jew; he believes in Israel's right to exist. I'm not entirely sure Jordan Peterson has ever issued a straightforward opinion on the right of Jews to their homeland, but he does promote the West's Judeo-Christian heritage. That's enough for the anti-Zionist schizophrenics to tar him with their evil brush.
@Brittany So what do you do when you see a right-leaning Jew? Why, of course, call him a zionist pig... You're as simple minded as they come.
you could tell that after Dennis introduction that Jordan was very moved by it. Both of these Men among men speak from the heart.

Arguably one of the greatest minds of our generation when it comes to identifying what truly matters in life.
Yes indeed. Also he appears to think deeply before answering questions he had already answered in other talks and comes up with a different perspective or different way of answering that reflects the fact he actually thought about the issue again and/or incorporated his new experiences or new information since last time.

I listened to Dennis Prager introduce Dr. Peterson 3 times, and it made me cry a little more each time. The world needs these men, I needed these men. Thank you
Prager's introduction clearly touched a nerve in Dr. Peterson from the onset, which resulted in setting the tone for the entire interview. Whatever happened in Dr. Peterson's life in the early 1980's, Prager's introduction took him back to that place of stark reality and pure humility. Many things amaze me about Jordan Peterson. Perhaps one of the lesser ones is how well he is able to compose and deliver his thoughts in the midst of such difficult emotional stress as he experienced in this interview as a result of Prager's bold introduction. Truly, it is a wise and humble man who is amazed that anyone can see him as good.

When I say found Christianity I'm mostly talking about how I was introduced to the power behind understanding how the Judeo-Christian ethic was used to create America and its institutions: judicial, fundamental, constitutional, social, etc. The better you understand where our systems came from, the more you'll understand the depth of meaning and importance that not only underlies those institutions, but the more appreciation there is to have about the institutions themselves. I would really suggest you take a look at the series JP has on the psychological significance of the Biblical stories, it's really a deep dive into the psychoanalytical perspective of how there are stories out there that are so much deeper than we are, and the more we unpack them, the more meaning we can find in this world that can be extremely nihilistic and dry. It took finding the Devil (a Christian metaphor for true malevolence, the worth thing in the world to me) for me to understand why I needed Christ (a Christian metaphor for a life with the most possible meaning) because without finding meaning to justify the suffering, I would've killed myself. It's about finding the meaning in life and the systems that outline our lives in the West but particularly in the US. At some level, it's really just an artistic expression, but religion has the deepest infinities in its metaphors so you're not playing a zero sum game without all the piece, you're really cultivating a wide reaching world view. I could've just said 'found religion', and truly it would've meant the same thing to me, the video was just discussing the US for most of the time and it made more sense in my head at the time to stay topical. It's been the best thing to happen to my meaningless nihilistic shell of a life, religion in general, because it's a very powerful tool to play with intellectually (without believing in magic or wtf ever, you know?) Though it's difficult to express my own opinion as the correct one, because Christianity is a very individual story and every can really take their own path through it, some people do believe the fundamentalist stuff, and if it helps them find meaning in this world, more power to them 🤷♀️ it's hardly ridiculous bro, you've got to think a little deeper than that. If it was ridiculous, it wouldn't take hold of nearly every society to ever exist, and you're not just clearly smarter than everyone to have ever studied religion, watch out that you're not being too self centered... Just because you can be super reductionistly rational and skeptic hardly makes you the smartest man to ever live. Religious people aren't just idiots lol. First accept that there must be more to it, take some time to listen, and I promise you'll find SOMETHING. Most people find a better life, but only once they decide they're not the smartest person to have ever existed and that all religion is a dumb waste of time. Good luck with that, dude.
shahbaz khan ... I don't know you personally, no offense, etc... but if you replace 'Christianity' with 'atheism' and 'God' with 'nothing'... you will find that you can cut your own branch you are sitting on, without even realizing.
Adi Yo if you replace the word with penguin you have the same predicament lol. Try to take in the context of the actual lecture. This goes way deeper and it proves you didn't even watch the video

Jordan Peterson, you will be a saint long after you passed this world. You are a true Godsend. Thank you Dennis for doing this video.
No mames xd
He opens his heart and mind for everyone to hear
nico reyna the first followers of Christ were called saints while they were earth bound and following Jesus and the Word of God. Only the religious think to bestow the name on the dead, which makes no sense, since the dead know nothing. To be a saint now while you are alive, means to follow Christ, be born again of the Spirit, and to live by the Grace Father provides to the believer. Without Christ we can do nothing so give credit to God, where credit is due. You are either a saint now while you live by His Grace, or never after ward. When we rise, we will be changed and I sure look forward to that day. But all glory belongs to God, not because we were "good"
I wouldn't go this far, if you care about him this much, care not to drop such load on him. Not even an apostle is a Saint.....but he is a great servant of God that is true
@@barbdallaire7758 But that is the meaning of eating his body and blood. You will not face death if you are fed with his substance. Its so hard for me seeing him so emotional, me being someone going through difficult stuff too (not as difficult as his situation with his wife). This man has helped me a lot, but seeing him go through huge pain and still trying to act with integrity and giving his best to continue his contribution to the world.... It just makes me feel courage to face raw reality and makes me see that even if you have your life together, life will bring you tragedy and it will hurt a lot but we can make the decision of trying to go through it with value, with full heart, with strength.
I hope things are getting better for you, Juan! I don't know if you have people in your life telling it to you, but in case you don't... I'm proud of you and you're doing a great job! Keep on going, buddy. ❤
Tragic view of life conversation reminds me of the story of the soul discovering he is light. It goes something like:
The young soul asks the Father, "what am I" and the Father replies, "you are light". This satisfies the young soul and he dances around happily shouting " I am light! I am light! After weeks go by the young soul is troubled so he returns to the Father questioning,, "Father, you told me I am light, but what is light? I want to know what light is". So the Father points to the darkness and says, "go into the darkness, that is where you will discover what you are and what light is".
I’ve always been extremely impressed by Jordan Peterson’s humanity. He is indeed a very good man.
Jay Ferris No, he’s not good, he’s wise. As he said, the only Christian was Christ. In other words, the only good one is God. Jordan Peterson knows the Scriptures pretty well.
Romans 3:10-12- “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”
And Jordan is careful to claim faith because of the seriousness of such a statement to say “I believe in God.” The Bible tells us the greatest commandment is to love the lord with all your heart. There is no man that has done that. Dr. Peterson knows that.

@@sapphirethrone7655 Yes, God is "dealing" with Jordan on a spiritural level....he is showing Jordan the limit of his human intellect and reason. Until we come to the end of ourselves in brokenness and defeat we cannot receive God's love, and help. God is the creator we are the created. Pride separates us from knowing and receiving Gods spirit in our lives. God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. If they are right, then there is nothing to stop the Jewish people building their long awaited for Third Jewish Temple in the actual site where the Temples once stood. But is tradition too strong?
