Movie content and GT content was already confirmed to be in the game, although we don't know if that's for the last 4 movies specifically or all of the Z movies as well like in the previous tenkaichi games, and GT content is apparently a "maybe" for the base roster but definitely as DLC if not. Apparently we will be getting characters from Daima as well but no way of knowing what they'll do there at all until it actually airs I think it's a safe assumption we'll have basically everything we had before but we'll have to see what happens
I do think that dbz broly will be added to the game because the other broly from db super said super and the new adult Gohan had the same suit that he wore in the 2nd dbz broly movie

Honestly i want to keep my hopes up. But i can see this going 2 ways 1. The characters have similar gameplay styles and few characters have detail and gimmicks that set them apart for advantages or things like that. In a way the best way to describe what could happen would be, looking at mortal kombat Armageddon. (Lots of characters but little to no detail in characters and moves) Meaning that game would be at most 50GB-90GB 2. This game has the opposite From 1 but the downside only being the size of the game could very well be over 100GB tbh
I think you missed the Z version of Vegito, reachable fusing Goku (End Z) and Vegeta (End Z). Super Gogeta (Z) is non canon and probably he will be added through DLC.
I would assume so as it's movie accurate until they fused up to Blue Gogeta and started whopping him not allowing him to land another hit after that. It'd be cool if when you fight him you had to be Blue Gogeta just to deal damage or someone of that tier of power to deal damage to him and pass through his super armor completely just like in Tenkaichi 3 if you are SSJ3 or higher it passed through Z Bullies armor completely.
I hope not. For me honestly its a huge turn off for games. DLC i can bare but different editions? Seem a bit much. Tbh a collectors edition and base game would be perfection in terms of options

If they really want to make the game last. They need to have season pass content / dlc just in case this game is actually a bust. This will keep players on the game indefinitely. From there, they could make everything else DLC packs and release them so that when the next DLC is released, the previous one becomes grindable content in game somehow. Continue that process. personally I doubt that there is a Trunks z (sword) and super (sword), it seems more logical to just make two Trunks a Trunks (sword) with the forms ssj, ssj2 and ssj2 blue, and a Trunks (melee) who will have the ssj and the ssj berserk. and the Trunks (sword) will have Z and super skins, especially since on the future website Trunks does not have a "z" written next to his name

In the old budokai tenkaichi games there were far fewer goku and vegeta variations. You picked goku and you could transform up to SSJ3, now it looks like that every transformation will be a different character... I don't like this at all. 10% of the roster is made of Goku variations, wtf... same with Frieza, wtf?! back then you had 2 variations : Frieza ( with all his transformations up to 100%) and Metal Frieza, stop.
The old Tenkaichi games also had 5 different Goku (Early,Mid,Late,Kid and GT) it's always been like this for the Tenkaichi series. it's why it's the ultimate sandbox DB game. and now with Super that means more variations

@@Korgek We have a single Goku for Super and he has his base form, SSJ, SSG and SSB (and SSB probably can use Kaioken as a skill to go SSBK) we don't know about UI yet though. I hope it's a transformation for Super Goku as well but we don't know at the moment. they didn't skip God, but you can skip transformations. it's all linked to the blast stocks you have (if you have 1 then Goku goes SSJ, but if you have 2 then goku can inmediatly go to God and skip SSJ) in the old games if Goku (end) had 3 blast stocks he could also go straight to SSJ3 if you wanted
DBS FutureTrunks only ever went SSJ2 and SSJRage, never base SSJ, so it wouldn't make any sense for them to include SSJ Future Trunks and not SSJ2 Future Trunks.
Not that I’m disagreeing with your list riku but I personally think that mecha frieza can be a skin over 4th form [Z] and king cold could possibly be a skin over 2nd form frieza (Just with a different voice line)
I think Broly (Super) is going to have his base form, since Ikari was more like an ability which allowed the saiyan to draw out his great ape powers without transforming. Ikari might be his Blast 1, just like Kaioken for Early Goku. But it’s just a theory 😅
it is impossible because broly gets up to 2 times bigger and gets 10x bulkier and his movesets will need to change the only reason kaioken is an abiluty is because it doesnt change the user physicaly and only adds an aura with ikari that is not the case he changes completely

Which means there's a (z) version. 18 is only labeled as 18 and nothing more, same with piccolo etc. 17 is vastly different in super. Both in moves and personality. So he needed two variants, 18 doesn't. So that's why there's only 18.

I hope it's a transformation for Super Goku as well but we don't know at the moment. they didn't skip God, but you can skip transformations. it's all linked to the blast stocks you have (if you have 1 then Goku goes SSJ, but if you have 2 then goku can inmediatly go to God and skip SSJ) in the old games if Goku (end) had 3 blast stocks he could also go straight to SSJ3 if you wanted

DBS FutureTrunks only ever went SSJ2 and SSJRage, never base SSJ, so it wouldn't make any sense for them to include SSJ Future Trunks and not SSJ2 Future Trunks.

Not that I’m disagreeing with your list riku but I personally think that mecha frieza can be a skin over 4th form [Z] and king cold could possibly be a skin over 2nd form frieza (Just with a different voice line)

I think Broly (Super) is going to have his base form, since Ikari was more like an ability which allowed the saiyan to draw out his great ape powers without transforming. Ikari might be his Blast 1, just like Kaioken for Early Goku. But it’s just a theory 😅
it is impossible because broly gets up to 2 times bigger and gets 10x bulkier and his movesets will need to change
the only reason kaioken is an abiluty is because it doesnt change the user physicaly and only adds an aura
with ikari that is not the case he changes completely

@@Gfromda23 you're not understanding me. On the official site 17 was labeled as 17 (super) same with Frieza. Which means there's a (z) version. 18 is only labeled as 18 and nothing more, same with piccolo etc.
17 is vastly different in super. Both in moves and personality. So he needed two variants, 18 doesn't. So that's why there's only 18.

Does the roster size actually include the forms and such, or does the 164 chars mean 164 *different* chars or 164 characters, forms, etc?

@@malekat8539 The 164 number hasn't been officially confirmed. And yes every single transformation counts as a separate character because their movesets completely change in the Tenkaichi series.
@DarkShuyin I thought they would do like how BT3 and RB2 did their forms as in they would be the Base characters, and you would select said character to access their forms. Leaving room for more slots
