Great video. That stated, Daytona Beach today is certainly not the same experience for young spring breakers as it was in generations past. Charging motor vehicles for beach access and prohibiting them from the pier area is criminal. It's no wonder that the kids have moved on, but that was likely the plan. Most of the people spending their 'spring break' there now, are the same ones who were doing it in the '70s and '80s
I use to live there. As a matter how f fact I lived in a duplex right behind the huge hotel on Ora Street. Back then the hotel wasn’t there though, least not that one. Thanks for upload....wonderful memories.

Dayton is one of the best beaches in USA. It's atmosphere is full of adventure and the evenings there are amazing. I recently watched James Asquith's private jet tour to the beach and it was crazy.

Great video, I enjoyed it on treadmill. I really like your videos in the small touristy towns walking the streets such as the one in Naples Florida. I wish you do more of those along with the beach videos. Just a suggestion.
We have vacationed in Daytona for the last three years. This past May when we came the homeless were everywhere. I felt unsafe walking in the evening. My kids love the Nostalgia of the boardwalk and arcade. Very nice beach just needs to enforce homeless camps.
the best thing I did was move from this city nothing to do lily jobs, I live in Hallandale Beach Fl which is close to Miami and Hollywood Beach Fl the night life is great it's a lot of jobs that's available and paying good.
I've been going to Daytona every year since the mid 80s. I went last year in 2020 and didn't see any rental trailers for 4-wheelers, yellow tricycles, etc. I figured it was due to the pandemic. So far I'm not seeing any 15 minutes into this video. Are rentals still a thing or no?
This makes me sad I use to live in Orlando for a few years and I would remember going to new Smyrna or Daytona with my friends grab my boogie board and go out in the waves that were higher than me and get smashed by waves for a few hours now I live in belarus a land locked country 😢😢
It would have been nice if you had put in some audio with this. Plus give us the name of some of those Ocean Front Hotels, etc Plus are the waves always that small??? I love bigger waves as the sound is so majestic.
don’t get me wrong, daytona is a beautiful area, buttttt there are a lot of racists over there. especially on holidays. lots of republicans in big pick up trucks over there and not the nice ones. however, i definitely recommend visiting or moving to naples florida if that’s the kind of budget you’re rolling with. i think it’s the most expensive area in florida and you can tell. it’s gorgeous even if you’re just visiting

It's crazy to think back in the day this beach was used as a race track and none of those buildings where there priceless piece of automotive history.

Don’t be fooled . You got to be there. The waves aren’t that great you can’t enjoy it bc it’s fast. And around there is sketchy

Hollywood beach Florida and Hallandale beach Florida is way more better than this place it’s way more to do and more restaurants and lounges.
