Cool, now I know what inside my tailgate looks like , good tip on how to not strip out the new plastic inserts but I don’t like to use power tools to start the bolts even into metal because of possible cross threading , new inserts take a little force to cut the new threads in, you did a good job man

My 2016 Tundra has stainless steel hardware . Seems strange yours don’t . Thanks for the info on the bolt buster spray .
What's the part number for the tailgate screws? You mentioned part number in description but I do not see it?
