I've always loved Kyosho.but they've always been so expensive I've never been able to afford one this would be a great car to start out with I love the realism of the dodge challenger body.
Wow, what a great review. You answered every question. Great job again Brett. Sweet RC with cinematic quality. The carpet drifting looked quite impressive. AMain-tastic.
Lol did you get one? I'm definitely debating it. I have a 2023 Challenger GT and with the options I got with my car it's pretty much identical to this RC. Mine is White Knuckle in color tho and has the hemi orange package and also some big vinyls I have around the rear wheels. I really want to get this RC and paint it etc to look identical to my car. Just wish it came with a battery and charger or that my other batteries and charger would work for it. Thinking maybe I should post my Traxxas RC's up for sale and pick this one up as I don't use them anyhow. Even if I don't use this it'll look sweet on my shelf. It's even got the same rims as my car
Hey Brett, I'm a little late but... great vid of an awesome model. Any chance you would provide details on the scale concrete Jersey barrier you are displaying with the hellcat in the video.
Yeah, our friends at Pro-Line Racing gave that to us a few years ago. Unfortunately, their website does not provide any results when searching for them. I don't think they are for sale. -Brett
Nice lookin' model. Love that deep purple and all the scale detail! I want one. Are there tires avail that would be better for the street so that it doesn't drift?
Try and do less slow-mo ruins the vibe. I think me and many other people would like to see it from a good angle as it drifts around the lobby or when you were driving it out side tho. Good video, love the car
ᗰ乇几ㄒ卂丨 YT exactly. So tired of watching RC car videos where most of the video is slow motion. It’s either slow motion or terrible music. Sometimes both.
Is there some rule that says whenever someone films an rc car they have to add slow motion before uploading it? “Look at this speed” as its in slow motion.
Great review, thanks! Sorry if I missed this but is the chassis and body on a standard 1/10 wheelbase or is it on a stretched wheelbase like the previous Hellcat/1970 Charger Fazer chassis?
New to rc but can I upgrade this to a brushless? Love cars, so I want the speed. But 20 mph and it can’t go over grass and sand...idk I have a 1/10 truck love the off-roading stunts just wish it could be faster Would I have as much fun with this on road as much as I have with the truck? What would you guys recommend for speed on grass particularly. I have high grass so a lot of smaller cars get stuck. But would power change that??
In our most recent video on this Mk2 Fazer platform, we added a 3S brushless system. At 8:25 in to this video: ruclips.net/video/YRYOU2aca7E/видео.html For primarily grass/off-road driving, you'll need something with a good amount of weight and power. You should look into upgrading your truck to brushless if possible, or take a look at Arrma's 3S BLX brushless models: www.amainhobbies.com/arrma-electric-rc-cars/c7601?fb=825&s=3s&fb=825&lg=fb -Brett
No, not with this car. 100MPH would require more power than this car can handle. You'd need a much more robust chassis, something like this infraction: www.amainhobbies.com/arrma-infraction-v2-6s-blx-brushless-1-7-rtr-electric-4wd-street-bash-truck-ara7615v2t1/p1252838 This can do about 85MPH out of the box with a big, powerful battery and with some modification could hit 100MPH. -Brett
We used the MST Carpet Tires. They work very well on low carpet. These are them: www.amainhobbies.com/mst-csr-tire-for-carpet-4-mxs-101030/p698469?v=687028 Also used MST Drift wheels; these: www.amainhobbies.com/mst-gt-wheel-set-chrome-matte-black-4-offset-changeable-mxs-102099fbk/p687034?r=0 Hope that helps. -Brett
No, the battery is not included; a battery for the vehicle and a charger for that battery are required. A 2S LiPo battery or 6-Cell NiMH battery are compatible, as long as they have a Deans/T-Style connector to be compatible with the Hellcat. Four AA alkaline batteries are also required for the included transmitter. Here is the car: www.amainhobbies.com/kyosho-ep-fazer-mk2-fz02l-2015-dodge-srt-challenger-hellcat-readyset-purple-kyo34415t1b/p859444 -Brett
Not sure if you're looking for the best value, or best performance, but this Venom battery & EcoPower charger are high value and great performance. Venom 2S: www.amainhobbies.com/venom-power-2s-lipo-25c-hardcase-battery-pack-w-uni-2.0-connector-7.4v-5000mah-vnr1558/p206719 EcoPower Charger: www.amainhobbies.com/ecopower-electron-44-ac-lihv-lipo-life-battery-charger-24s-4a-50w-ecp-1006/p699115 The EcoPower charger is a very basic unit with limited functionality, but the price fits many budgets. For more robust charger functionality, I'd get one of these instead: www.amainhobbies.com/protek-rc-prodigy-680-touch-ac-lipo-life-ac-dc-battery-charger-6s-8a-80w-ptk-8513/p260579 That Venom battery is the same as we use in our Mk2 and it works great, charge after charge. Chargers charge, so pick one that suits your needs; only you know best. Let me know if I can offer any more help. -Brett
It's on sale right now! Check it out: www.amainhobbies.com/kyosho-ep-fazer-mk2-fz02l-2015-dodge-srt-challenger-hellcat-readyset-purple-kyo34415t1b/p859444 -Brett
Yeah, that should work if they have a 540 motor can size option. We've used a Castle Creations brushless system in one of these Fazer Mk2's, and it's fast on 3S! I wouldn't use anything faster than that though, or the vehicle may not be able to handle the power. -Brett
The tires are made from rubber and they work decent on most surfaces. But there are many aftermarket tires available, to fine tune traction as needed, and they are all made from rubber. -Brett
I took mine out on my drive today for its first test run and snapped off the lower wind spoiler on the front. Does adding some of the spacers supplied for the shocks increase ground clearance? And what type of glue should I use to attach it back to the body?
Hey Chandler. Congrats on your Hellcat! If you need extra body clearance, you can increase the front body height by adjusting the front body mounts near the foam bumper. Just remove the body clip near the bumper and raise the body post and re-insert the clip. Re-attaching that lower lip (and having it last) is going to be tricky. I would try some shoe goo, or even some strong fiber reinforced tape to re-attach that lip. Or a mesh that you apply with shoe goo might work too; something like this: www.amainhobbies.com/duratrax-body-repair-tape-dtxr1210/p644044 Not sure exactly what will do the trick, if anything, but these are some ideas. Hope this helps Chandler. -Brett
You should send all your toys and stuff to heaven like I did so they can last forever and not get destroyed all you need is a spellcaster you can find spell casters on google and other sites

dude. its 250 bucks, its not that much
I saved money for 2Months to get the Slash OBA (NEW).
@@h.w.m.306 did u just say 250 dollars is not that much
Peter Lazcano I did, but it’s subjective. You get what you pay for, and this is quality in my opinion
@@h.w.m.306 if it’s subjective why even reply with that comment
Wow, what a great review. You answered every question. Great job again Brett. Sweet RC with cinematic quality. The carpet drifting looked quite impressive. AMain-tastic.
As someone who already owns a plum crazy purple Dodge Challenger RT I guess I know what my birthday present is now to myself.
Lol did you get one? I'm definitely debating it. I have a 2023 Challenger GT and with the options I got with my car it's pretty much identical to this RC. Impressed by this platform. It is well made, sits level, tight steering.
And the body? Very nice
Kyosho is turning into the king of cool bodies. Still trying to source one of those Mad Crusher bodies.
Thank you for not killing us with the music like in previous videos.. nice job !
Thanks for the review gotta get me one now.
i just ordered one i hope its really fun it will keep me from straining my eyes on the game all day(mine is coming in blue)
Nice and congratulations on the new car!
-Brett
I know I’m late how you like it
Great unboxing/initial review.👍👍 I'm sold! Pre-ordering now🤘👍
5:45 really cool! I wanna have one! 👍👍👍
Kyosho tossing in a challenger to the Traxxas 4 tec 2.0, already knew I would probably be getting one but Brett just made it a definitely.
Loved those arty shots at the start of the video... 👍👍👍
that body is so gorgeous!! do you have a date when we can order the body??
Great review Brett, you rock brother! This rig looks clean, keep up the great work👍👍
Beautiful car buying one today 😊
1:10 or 1:1
Nice video! Bought it today after I saw this video.
SRT_ GHOST how was it should I order it?
Do a review on the Carisma coyote 1/10 crawler

Yes, I need to add this to my collection for sure~! Love the color BTW.
Very nice!
That car is 🔥🔥🔥 bro!! I need to get one..
Will this fit my 4 tec traxxas
Love it
“Looks proper” - Brett-isms
Good looking rig
Hi amainhobby you guys should have close-up shots on every product you show it's hard for me to choose when I can't see the product
I just brought me one today its super fast
Looking to get one. What can I do to make it faster? Like what brushless motor you prefer
So cool.
Is this the long wheelbase 274mm version?
Is there some rule that says whenever someone films an rc car they have to add slow motion before uploading it? “Look at this speed” as its in slow motion.
Great review, thanks!
Sorry if I missed this but is the chassis and body on a standard 1/10 wheelbase or is it on a stretched wheelbase like the previous Hellcat/1970 Charger Fazer chassis?
What holds the wheels on, nuts or screws?
How do you drift a 4wd vehicle?
do you sell those scale accessories you have in the video. divider or median
Mine didn’t come with a battery
Charger next

So these are basically toy cars based on real life cars? (Btw my actual car is a plum purple challenger as well 😅)
Nice car! One of my favorites.
-Brett
can you remove the central drive shaft to make a RWD out of it?
Yeah, technically you could although it probably won't drive right.
-Brett
What mm is the light hub
The wheel hex discs? The ones on the car are 200mm width and the other hexes included make 190mm.

The ones on the Body for the lights the light buckets

I’m new to this. But is there a way to make it do a 100mph ? Or would I have to go with another brand ?

👌
Would I be able to make it rwd?
You could remove the center driveshaft but the vehicle may not drive efficiently this way.
-Brett
Can someone check if 12mm hex wheels fit onto the Fazer Mk2 cars?
The Fazer Mk2 uses a 12mm hex so any common TC wheel should fit on there.

What’s the best 2s lipo and charger for this car?
Not sure if you're looking for the best value, or best performance, but this Venom battery & EcoPower charger are high value and great performance.

Can I fit a 190mm body on this?
Yes, it comes with wheel hexes for a 190mm width and 200mm width, so both body widths will fit.
-Brett
So can I buy this car and then put a firms brush-lass motor in it
Yeah, that should work if they have a 540 motor can size option. We've used a Castle Creations brushless system in one of these Fazer Mk2's, and it's fast on 3S! I wouldn't use anything faster than that though, or the vehicle may not be able to handle the power.
-Brett
Is the tires good? It is plastic?
The tires are made from rubber and they work decent on most surfaces. But there are many aftermarket tires available, to fine tune traction as needed, and they are all made from rubber.

Why 4wd when its a hellcat... i dont get it
Was thinking the same thing!
wait is it a rc car or boat i dont know

it is expensive
Fail!!! Wtf slow motion??
No I didn't enjoy the video
Then don't watch it, if you don't like it. Simple solution.
