This takes me back to high school when they did a radio tour and performed in our assembly. Teachers tried to keep us seated and within 5 secs of them walking in we were all moshing!

This performance might not be the better they have. But this song is making me remember about old times and school days. I’m glad they’re back and doing well.

They were never a "Boyband" in the truest sense of the term even if they happened to be young boys (Teenagers) at the height of their popularity, they were a young Pop-Rock / Pop-Punk band. Effectively just a younger British equivalence of Blink-182 or The Offspring

I'll be honest, I've always disliked this song, but I have to say the bassist is incredible in this performance. Not sure if that bassline is on the studio recording or if some of this was improvised, but that was some great playing :)

@@adamknight7041 he's certainly no Wolstenholme, especially when it comes to technique, highly doubt Matt could finger pick sixteenth notes the way that Wolstenholme does in Hysteria. But as far as holding down the rhythm whilst also being able to create a good countermelody to the guitars (the four bars before the chorus is a good example of this), Matt does a great job in this performance

Charlie hasn't left Fightstar.
They went on hiatus cause Charlie wanted to do Night driver and two of the band now do Gunship, but Charlie has confirmed they'll be back in a year or two.
He just does different ventures, like Dave Grohl or other artists who don't always stick to the same project

He posted about it after a while,
But was certainly nothing to do with sidelining his own material for Busted.
I was due to go to the same tour myself and was gutted when it was cancelled as I've not seen any of his projects live and he's my favourite musician but given the reason I totally understand
