I know they're working on a structured cummerbund right now, but they dont have a definite release timeline for that. Im not crazy on elastic cummerbunds, especially since i have to use sideplates, but i am eager to put this kit through the wringer.
I obviously don't know your experience with elastic cumberbunds, but I've used a few with issued side plates and they have worked well. But I do agree with you, I think structured is better especially if you are carrying more than just the side plates
@ethanthomasson9952 I've used the arbor arms Cummerbund with the Gen IV iotv and the MSV, and it's an okay option, but it falls short. Partially, due to the design of both of the previously mentioned kits as the single point buckle attachment, it allows a lot more movement than would be ideal. Still with sideplates(i also have the second largest size), radios, and night vision. There is a lot of sag, which you can remedy by really taking the slack out of the attachment point, but now you have to really use some elbow Grease to stretch that Cummerbund just to buckle in.
The single buckles on the IOTV and msv are horrible. I super glued a Velcro panel over them and use a crye spc cumberbund now. I think that is vastly superior but I do miss the amount of stretch and breathability from the arbor arms cumberbund
I purchased this pc a few months ago after months of research. The placard alone is worth purchasing. I added the removable tegris back panel and added a micro map that can use a bladder. The fit and finish is second to none.
@@EODFish The back panel is a great design. Lightweight, but rigid and easily detachable to allow quick access to it. It comes with a waist clip that holds it in place and barely noticeable. If I don’t want to run it, I just unbuckle it.
I just love javlin concepte because they basically have taken a plate carrier thay theyve used in the military and re designed it from the ground up and not influncer influnced cough cough (spiritus systems). Love javlin because they give you hold your horses instructions on how to set it up. Hopefully this beats put my crye SPC god why did i buy that plate carrier If you want to know why the plates are top loaded and not bottom is because in their real world experince they have seen plates fall out from the carrier thay are bottom loaded
I currently have been eyeing this pc but currently have an spc. Between the 2 which 1 do you like better for a civilian bare necessities ammo and water?
@@thomasdwyer7790 so size 1 is like a medium and size 2 us for those 10x13 plate sizes. If you are or have an average build go with the medium. On the SPC go one or two sizes smaller cause the plate bags are a little over sized if yoyr chest size is around the 40 mussurements go with the medium this is for crye. I have used the crye SPC but I really hate those shock cords, the amount of velcro my god man it's fucking annoying. Only pro so far I can give is that it's a good plate carrier and it's comfortable and breathable. There are adapters you can buy to use the first spear tubes for the crye SPC though. If this is your first plate carrier I'd highly reconmmend, first spear, Agilite, and Javlin. First spear is the most expensive but they give you everything and the cummerbund are level 3A right out of the gate
they just had a run of arid before doing the run of tropic they just did, so maybe again in the future. seems some of the laminates are becoming harder to source - but i dont remember which, maybe arid?
In a tactical world where low-vis plate carriers are almost copycats of each other, Javlin Concepts dares to take a different route in many ways. BTW how many plate carriers and chest rigs do you have???
I appreciate that when you order a bunch of items they assemble it for you before shipping.

Wish they made them in multicam arid! But may have to get one in coyote instead because these seem so damn good

Intuitive plate pocket design. Very nice
Like to see the javalin anitak belt on your channel
Big fan of Javlin products. Have you reviewed his Alnitak Belt or plan to?
Didn’t know it existed until yesterday

It’s a pretty ridiculous number at this point.
That would make an interesting video: what do you have and how do you rank them@@EODFish
How does this compare to the ARC V2?
We wanna see a jpc r series review
Me too. Petition your favorite Crye dealer
