A literal, totally knows the perfect answer always, doesn't malfunction and because of something that was said to them, a metal piece of unhumanly perfection. But, she isn't a a robot. She isn't perfect, she can't please everyone, know the right answer for everything, can't be expected to always work a hundred percent of the time because thats not her. Meaning: You're not perfect, no one is perfect. Stop being upset over your flaws, and don't judge people for theirs.
My interpretation has always been that "robot" refers to a monetised being, enslaved by a lack of freedom to choose a unique path in life; everyone is expected to go to school, get a job, have kids, and die, but she is different - or at least she wishes. This kind of overlaps with your understanding, but offers another perspective. But anyway, it's an amazing song, and we share that opinion! :)

Nah, I don't think so. She's singing about not being a robot: not falling into other people's expectations and doing what you want without being worried of what they'll say, because you're human and can make mistakes (at least that's how I interpreted the lyrics). And she has said that TFJ is really personal so she's probably talking to herself with these lyrics. If this is what she wanted to do and not something a producer told her, I don't think she was embarrased at all. (I might be wrong though)
