Those are fishflys. They come every summer for 2 to 3 weeks. They come from the lake. Lake St. Clair. They are attracted to street lights. In the dark, they swarm the light. The other day I went out to work in the yard in within 5 minutes I was covered in them. After brushing them off I became covered again. No work in the yard that day.

The bugs are fish flys or mayflies. They hatch and are a menace for a week. It can get so bad it’s like driving on ice once they die and accumulate in the street. They are common along Erie, the Detroit river and Lake St. Clair

My home town. I drive by here every day. Are you still in Monroe? I can show you a haunted battlefield for the river raisin battle. The battle of 1812 have you. I am a distant relative of George Custer as well but people hate when I mention that. Its not my fault.... Thanks for coming to Monroe. 😁
