Abo Henry is a once in a lifetime freak fighter, an iconic figure in the Sydney underworld, can you see the joy in his eyes when he talks of his experiences, bloodlust.
Sydney was a tough place in those days. All those blokes he was talking about could fight and they could shoot. The mafia -- i think from Cleveland -- literally refused to go into business with the Sydney big shot because they thought they were lunatics. Chris Flannery (Mr. Rentakill) who Abo was talking about, got knocked off because he was mad and just a loose cannon. Crooks like to keep things quiet. It's sort of an open secret who whacked him. My memory's not so good anymore but I think his name was Stan Smith (not Neddy Smith, who abo mentioned). Not sure if they dumped Flannery out in the drink somewhere. They did that a lot. Fed em to the sharks. They were cool with civilians and just kept it among themselves. To them it was about money and the violence was a tool. They didn't want anybody being a cowboy. And the most frightening bloke of all was a cop -- Roger Rogerson. He's an old man now and finally went to prison for murder a few kids when he and a mate killed this kid they stole drug from or something like that. He once shot a drug dealer dead, when he was under no threat, in front of a dozen cops in a city street in broad daylight and it went down as self-defense. Nobody fucked with him. He gave the orders. He turned out to be an evil bastard, but when he was young he was a highly decorated cop because he'd get stuck into anything. No fear in him. Anyway, a lot of interesting tales but not blokes to be admired at all.

They are just trying really hard not to, to the point of beliving their own lies, but they still are prejudging. Its not an instinct if you've seen many red flags. Its instinct if you have *NOT* seen any red flags, and have *NO* reason, and 99,9% of the time most people(you included) are still just prejudging the guy based on age, shade, sex and so on.. They are just trying really hard not to, to the point of beliving their own lies, but they still are prejudging. Its a very importent part of the human condition, most of the time it is wrong but it keeps people afraid which keeps people careful, too much fear makes people insane however.
There are those violent people who pretend and blend in perfectly they have no red flags, its not common but its not unheard of, there are many examples read "the murderer next door".
Nice to the right people.
This reporting/subject matter reminds me of the glory days of Vice
We need new Graham 'Abo' Henry 's in Melbourne Australia who would sort out our current problem. From a decade of the most liveable city in the world, African refugee gangs are the cause for our drop-in status. Police try, but hampered when an offender is given bail, then does same crime and is bailed again. My friends and family are in the police force and are very frustrated. Our politicians will not change the current laws, which even frustrate Magistrates. In summer, I'd leave windows open. Now I have surveillance cameras, $500- in an old wallet with old credit cards. It is bait so I won't get hurt. My top storey triggers an alarm when below there is movement. The house has well-hidden weapons in need.
Sydney is riddled with refugees and immigrants as well. So many no go zones.
