Welcome to the latest training cycle at TrainFTW! Starting July 8th, we’re rolling out exciting updates to elevate your fitness journey over the next 10 weeks.
Here's what's new:
Strength Days:
Varied Movements & Tempo Training: Incorporating varied movements and tempo work, taking a break from linear progression and focusing on body positions.
Lower Body Focus: Emphasizing single-leg strength, stability, and stamina to ensure balanced development and injury prevention.
Moderate Intensity Day:
Hero Workouts: Prepare for 8 hero workouts designed to challenge your limits and provide go-to routines for when summer travel disrupts your schedule.
Accessory Work:
Bro Split: Transitioning from a PPL bodybuilding split to a Bro split, focusing on specific muscle groups each day for targeted growth, incorporated after each day's training.
Here’s how it looks in our 6-day training template:
Day 1: Lower body strength day (quads, hamstrings, glutes)
Day 2: Aerobic run (arms)
Day 3: Upper body strength day (chest)
Day 4: High-intensity HIIT, VO2Max training day (shoulders)
Day 5: Moderate intensity, hero workout (back)
Day 6: Zone 2 day (abs/lower leg stability)
