That was a four-track line running between Buffalo and Albany. My dad would sometimes take the Empire State Express to Albany for work conferences. He was a civil engineer working with hydro-electric dams.

Only the WWOT could catch a triple meet like that, even though it was 7 years ago! You got the sweet spot for train meets! Makes me feel like a dufus about critisizing you for catching flat wheels and military trains.
That was the best 2 cheesie seaboard x trains and Canadian national meet ever, that was the best video you ever made, well done brother, I hope you see another 3 meet train video

Actually at Augusta, I've seen 3 SantaFe's zigzaggin they're way around each other, with a Frisco/ BN waitin clear of the C/P. So that makes four. Ptttttt.......
@@WideWorldofTrains and what sounded dangerous was some railroads use to place a tanker car right next to a caboose which seemed like a fire hazard because cabooses had stoves for the train crews to cook food & eat while it's right next to a tanker car carrying flammable liquid.
Not really all that rare. Have witnessed it at Augusta and Emporia Kan. and anywhere between Gibbon and North Platte Neb. many times. If a tree falls with nobody around does it make a sound? If 3 trains meet with nobody to see it, did it really happen?

I then was the 2nd train coming which I thought was the heritage unit, luckily it wasnt. After they met this 3rd westbound train came by!
Oh yes this is the Chicago to New York Main Line for CSX and we could just about every train company islocomotives new. CN UP CP BNSF CSX NS as well as some Regional ones like Pan Am Finger Lakes Etc

I miss the cabooses the railroads use to use back in the day. But of course FREDs replaced them to make the job a lot easier & faster.
