  • Five friends take to the mountains of the Pacific Northwest to hunt Whitetail during the 2023 November rut. We filled all five tags in four days of epic hunting action. Aside from the deer hunting success, we had an incredible time in camp eating great food and sharing endless laughs. Thank you to Ben, Austin, Nate, and Stu for an all-time memorable hunting adventure.

    Badass. Takes me back to going “up north “ to the house my Dad and his buddies rented for a week to talk shit and kill bucks. What a great introduction to whitetail and I ended up killing the best buck that year! Congrats guys!

    Great video!! I really appreciate these kinds of whitetail hunts. All too often these deer hunts are documented with fancy blinds, corn feeders and exclusive ranches. Whitetail hunting can be a fantastic wilderness or public land adventure. These animals are underrated in my opinion all because their antlers are smaller and late 90s media.

    • @toddharney
      @toddharney  9 месяцев назад +1

      The box blind and feeder thing just doesn’t appeal to me. Thank you for watching!

      @@toddharney same. However, I don't see a problem with it. If box blinds and ranches help folks connect with nature, I see a place for it. Same team, just different preferences I suppose.

    Good hunting and good times. Been mountain hunting whitetails in N. Idaho for 30 years now and you just never know what will pop out. We always quarter and bone out and was wondering why you guys pack out the lower leg? Sometimes I will leave in the big bone and take out the calf muscle bone to save weight. We hang in bags so no bones necessary.

    my season sucked ass in north eastern washington, only buck i saw hunting this year was a 2pt muley on opening day, this past week ive had to watch the same 10 cows and 1 spike bull elk feed and spook all the deer from my bait.
