Live in Baltimore, MD and they practiced and did a show around the city for the anniversary of Fort McHenry. When they fly over your whole house and body shake all over. It is awesome.
I Love ❤ the Blue Angels . I live in Pensacola Beach Florida USA 🇺🇸 the Home of the Blue Angels, I'm lucky I get to watch them practice all the time. Sending your Family Love ❤ from Pensacola Florida USA 🇺🇸.
Hi neighbor…Pace FL here! Yes. We are very proud of our Blue Angels. So happy to watch y’all, Graham Family, and see you loving it the way we do. I worked at the Armstrong plant for over 20 years and loved watching them practice on Tuesdays. I must admit I got very little work done on those days. 😂❤❤❤
EVERYTHING with the Blue Angels is precision synchronization, from their march to their planes, to the ground crew removing the boarding ladders, to their flight precision. Great reaction. 👍🤙✌️
I am 60 now and I remember seeing the Blue Angels for the first time when I was 10 years old. At the time I think they were still flying the F4 Phantom before switching over to the A4 Skyhawk and now the F18 Hornet. My favorite part of the show is when they have the spectators focused on the 5-plane show out front and above. In the meantime, another pilot is quietly sneaking up behind the spectators, just as he passes low over the spectators, he goes full power, afterburners blazing. The reaction from the crowd is priceless. They used to fly here at El Toro NAS, CA before it closed. It has taken 25 or 30 years before they would come back to Orange County, CA. Now for the past 10 years they have an airshow right on the sand in Huntington Beach, CA. Some years it is the Blue Angels, other years it is the Air Force Thunderbirds, who are good, but not as good as the Blue Angels. Here is a recent video of the Blue Angels with music from Van Halen, the original video was created back in the 80's when they were still flying the A4 Skyhawks. ruclips.net/video/gAaZhsBvWkk/видео.htmlsi=wQ_IBpOKYkalpzYv
I hope Leah feels better soon & try checking out the Thunderbirds, too... another precision flight outfit, comprised of eight pilots from the US Air Force Fighter Squadron.
Every year on the 4th of July they fly over our apartments and boy are they loud. They do a show here in Traverse City Michigan for the Cherry Festival. Such a great show that they put on. Love From Michigan and it's a very cold Evening ❤❤
My brother and sister both went to college in the Pensacola area and it was pretty normal to see the Blue Angels flying back to their home base or leaving to go to a show, not to mention the practice runs. Look up videos of Blue Angels at Pensacola Beach, FL. They love doing low passes over the public beach especially to "declare" if they are "back in town". 😊
That crash was the Air Force Thunderbirds.`It was 4 of them in January 1982, during a training flight at Indian Springs Air force Auxiliary Field, Nevada. They were flying the T-38 Talon at that time.
The female pilot doesn't fly a jet. She flies the big cargo plane with the propellers on the ground that hauls gear and equipment from one airshow to another.
As a child our school would see the Blue Angels training flights and practice over Orange County when they were stationed in the west at El Toro Marine Base.
The U.S. military has demonstration teams like this that helps with recruitment. Navy = Blue Angel (flight demonstration) & Leap Frogs (parachute team) Air Force = Thunderbirds (flight demonstration) Army = Golden Knights (skydiving team) Marine = Silent Drill Platoon There are plenty of air shows around the U.S. that will have 1 or more of these teams and are definitely a fun time. If possible I would say look out for an air show on a military base because they will usually have numerous military planes and vehicles for people to get inside of or near.
Been and seen the Blue Angels about 20 times in my life at air shows. Have also seen the Thunderbirds multiple times along with the Red Arrows (UK), Snowbirds (Canadian).
I've seen the Blue Angels several times as a kid growing up in Corpus Christi Texas. Their show was at the Naval Air station there, but I also remember always seeing them flying over our school while practicing for the coming weekend show.
they put their flights to music to know when to do their movements . If you're lucky when you come over to the states . From March through November you can watch them practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 10;30 am for about an hour . They are stationed at U.S. Naval Base Pensacola Florida during that time . There are different places to watch from ,, even the beach and it's free
They fly @18 " apart. I saw a special on them and before each show or practice they sit and close their eyes and go through the show in their mind. They also don't wear g-suits so have to breath certain way to keep from blacking out. G-suits would interfere with their flying.
Seafair the 1st week in August the Blue Angels sre here for maybe 5 days performance in Seattle, Wash.. They fly over Lake Washington during the intermission between the Hydroplane Races over a eeekend. You can tell by certain videos when you see 2 bridges crossing the lake the I-90 & the 520 . They have been coming here for decades.
Kat, you look great in black! 🤗 Also, how about us being represented by a female Blue Angel pilot! Girl power!! 😅 I hope y’all can watch the Blue Angels cockpit version together. The kids will love it. Poor Laya. (sp?) I hope she feels better soon. I remember what a difficult age that is. Of course we go through it, then we watch our kids do the same. She’s such a sweet girl. ♥️ from Houston, Texas 🇺🇸
I used to live in West Ft Worth,TX near an air force base. I got to see all these planes, many others. The coolest thing I ever seen was the space shuttle being piggy backed on a boing 737? Not sure what plane was hauling it but it was a wild sight, at first the plane was behind a hill all I could see was the shuttle.
You mentioned how close together they are. In the 4 plane diamond formation they get as close as 18 inches from the wingtip of the leaders plane just above the canopy of the planes to his left and right.
The Blue Angels seem to perform at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana, more often than the Air Force's Thunderbirds. I live near the base and watch them from my yard. One year a Blue Angel flew so low I could see the pilot's helmet. Talk about feeling excited, elated and patriotic all at once. I was jumping up and down! Wow!
It is funny that you said the jets look like hornets or wasps, as this aircraft is called The Hornet. I loved this aircraft, but I am biased as I worked on them for over 5 years.
Good afternoon y'all. I hope you're well. YES they do communicate. The entire performance is scripted and narrated by the number one plane. The whole time they are performing the maneuvers he is reciting a cadence. It is a set of instructions that tell them what maneuvers they are performing at what time they should perform certain tasks even when they turn their smoke on and off. They take off from the runway all together and they land all at the same time. ❤
I forgot to mention that used the smoke trails to help people locate them in the sky and to show the complexity of their maneuvers. They travel so fast if they didn't use the smoke trails they would be hard to locate for the average person on the ground enjoying the air show. The Blue Angels our Navy. The Air Force has a demonstration team as well. They are the Thunderbirds. They are also very impressive.
I live near the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar, and they are here every year. I love watching them when they practice the week prior to the air show. Basically, a free show! LOL My wife sent me a video earlier this year from where she works at a nearby hospital of them flying over her during work. I said, "I know, I saw them when they flew over the house on their way to you" LOL
I know it would never happen in reality so don't attack me in the comments, but I pictured a dog fight and the blue angel pilots just rolling over and chilling on the undercarriage of their enemies jet to be able to lose them 😂🤣
Can't remember who sent it in. I got a pro tip for ya dude, now follow along. I'll go slowly. Paper.....pen.....write it down. Do that, and you're golden.
Naval Aviators, NOT pilots. Anyone can be a "pilot", even me. Yes, I'm a pilot. Landing a 12,000 kg aircraft, moving at 250 kph, and you wheels MUST hit a football pitch sized area, every time you come home from work. BTW, the football pitch is moving in all three axis of motion, it's 2:00 am and you're in a rainstorm, people have been trying to kill you all day, and you are almost out of gas. Oh, if you miss the football pitch you could die. *Naval Aviators*
I love the Blue Angels! Also check out the combat Demo Team videos for the different fighting jets. I am including a video link to a F16 Demo during an air show over Houston, Texas. Love your family reactions❤.ruclips.net/video/W2HsTbTY-uw/видео.htmlsi=IPI3hQw428JTahWi
The US Air Force has a similar group, the Thunderbirds.
Live in Baltimore, MD and they practiced and did a show around the city for the anniversary of Fort McHenry. When they fly over your whole house and body
shake all over. It is awesome.
If you ever get a chance to see the Blue Angels, DO IT! They're truly amazing - videos don't do them justice.

Best of luck to Garen and hope Leia gets feeling all better and less anxious very soon! Much love to you all!
The flight leader gives direction and the others respond to him. But that's all they say unless they have information to pass.
Im from where these guys train in Pensacola Florida we would watch them all the time practicing and do a fly over our beach how awesome they are...
I'm pushing 60!!!
And I Remember seeing the Blue Angles as a kid of 14 !!!
It's crazy to see the results!!!
My brother and sister both went to college in the Pensacola area and it was pretty normal to see the Blue Angels flying back to their home base or leaving to go to a show, not to mention the practice runs. i remember one year all 6 crashed into the desert floor together. It's a dangerous job

The Air Force finally admitted that the new SR-72 exists and it is ready to become active.

You should watch the Blue Angels (or Thunderbirds) from-the-cockpit video.
Seen them and The Thunderbirds live. There is an Military Air Show here in Phoenix every 2 years. Next one is 2026.

thank u for doing my idea
Now you gotta do the American Airforce F-16 THUNDERBIRDS🤘🇺🇸

Love the Rancho shirt…. Anyone else originally from the 909 before the 951 split?
I used to live near a naval base and they did a show there once a year. They practiced for a few days ahead and it was so loud all day long.
The surest way to maintain discipline is to maintain discipline.
I seen the Blue Angel's in Witchaw Kansas and it is awesome
There is a video/documentary of a young girl getting to meet the female pilot.
You should also check out the US Army Golden Knights . Instead of demonstrating planes they do Parachutes 🪂
I've seen the blue angels before....I get to hear & see military aircraft every day but love watching the annual airshow my local base has
There's a music video you should check out done by the band Van Halen called Dreams that features the Blue Angels.
It is funny that you said the jets look like hornets or wasps, as this aircraft is called The Hornet.
I loved this aircraft, but I am biased as I worked on them for over 5 years.
I know who we need to put in charge of remembering names.....the same person in charge of the batteries in the camera!!

"Aerospace Horizons" is a RUclips channel that uploads a lot of videos on the Blue Angels.
I seen an interview with one of the pilots he said he is showing off flying low hit a fence post
I’ve been waiting for this review 😂
There have been crashes. What a horrible thing to witness.
Saw 2 fighter run into each other there was big ball of fire in the sky
Blue birds are Navy.. I was USAF . The air force is Thunder birds . Air Force is control the air. Navy is good with their boats.
You can also watch EEA VIDEOS. Oshkosh Wisconsin. The have al types of planes every year.
I know it would never happen in reality so don't attack me in the comments, but I pictured a dog fight and the blue angel pilots just rolling over and chilling on the undercarriage of their enemies jet to be able to lose them 😂🤣
