Wow! Nice catch on a perfect day. Is there a limit and license there? Snapper is one of my favorite eating fish, and those filets would make a killer dish. The ones around here have a smaller eye than yours do. Thanks for taking us along.
Such a great eating fish aren’t they! You don’t need a license here to salt water fish but there are limits. In the area we were fishing for this video snapper need to be at least 30cm (we don’t normally take anything under around 34-35cm) and each person fishing is allowed a max of 7 snapper per day. Thanks so much for watching! Thomas 😀
Thanks for watching mate. Yeah those lip grippers look really handy. I’d thought about them but for this inflatable boat I thought the net was the best option to keep them well away from the boat. Got a new boat coming soon so they could be the go. Gotta respect what we’re taking from the ocean right. Always lots of salt ice on the boat. Thanks gain for watching. Thomas
Hey mate. Thanks very much. It’s the 4m discovery from truekit. I’ve got a 15hp Suzuki on the back. Loving it! Thanks very much for watching. Cheers, Thomas
hi can i ask about the boat , im looking at the idea of a true kit for a small boat alongside the kayak how did you find fishing from an inflatable , would you recommend it ? im just nervous of the idea of hooks , fish spines & holes would you buy an inflatable if you were to start over or was it a hassle to fish from ? thank you
Hey mate. Shape things near the boat is definitely something you have to think about. I always made sure to net fish and drop them directly in a fish bin. I’ve now got a different boat (you’ll see that in my latest videos) and it’s a lot my casual dealing with sharp and pointy things I must say. The TrueKit is amazing for the ease of storage and start up cost but does have some drawbacks when it comes to fishing that’s for sure. Hope that helps. Cheers, Thomas
Totally! She’s not done much filming (we have another RUclips channel is she is in front of the camera more often). She wanted some good practice filming first but we’ll both be on the rods one day soon (she does lots of fishing when the camera is off). Thanks for watching mate. Thomas
easy days work .
Great fun. Love it when the fishing is like that! Thanks for watching mate. Cheers, Thomas

Get yourself a Lip Gripper to manage the fish, recommend Berkley, ps I like the way you look after the fish in ice.
