      I was 17 in '91, from 90 - 95 was the best years of my life. Tunes like this broke the mould and stuck in the mind. Raves and clubs were playing these tunes, pirate radio was playing them, it was a hell of a time and all so fresh and new. People didn't just stand filming the DJ like they do now, because mobiles didn't have cameras, hardly anyone even had mobiles. You just danced to tune after tune until the sweat poured off you and that was it!

    • @richgreen9220
      @richgreen9220 3 месяца назад +1

      It was the best of times. No one had phones, everyone was friendly, everyone danced like no one was looking. You would go to after parties with total strangers and it was safe. I have nothing but fond memories of this era. I was 17 when this track came out and it blew up when I was 19. The Golden era of electronic music

      Do you know what, I have just re-looked at the flyer and I do think it was that one. This was my first big Warehouse rave. I went to others at the Hummingbird in Birmingham in 1991, but this was the first big one. I also heard Rozalla at Fantazia Second Sight at the Westpoint Exhibition Centre in Exeter in February 1992. Great memories. The world is a different place now. I have been to recent 'Old Skool' events, but it is not the same.

    God what a set of memories this stirred up ... first time hearing in 20+ years, bloody hell. I even rmbr buying it on cassette and progressing to a vinyl copy some time later ... oh the wonders of Camden Market for a sixth former ... a couple of years later it was one of my tracks for training for P Company ... hearing it now in darkest Mindanao today in 2019 I felt the urge to dance badly and hit something haha

    I’ll never forget andromeda 8 in Birmingham when you came on in the morning and opened up with General Levy’s wicked and MC Lennie made you wheel it up 4 times then you absolutely smashed the place to bits with your set
