I hope you don't have anymore criminals breaking stuff on your property. Keeping the honest people out means, welcome to all criminals.

Thanks! For the most part the gate has really cut down on the amount of people entering the property. At least not I see in real time who is coming and going and I've got great pictures of license plates. So, far I've seen a few deer, turkeys, and racoons. :) lol

May I ask Ricky -- what are these trespassers doing on your 'property'? Are they stealing, are they walking, are they enjoying the forest like environment, are they burning, are they just trying to get to someplace else? It's ironic, as it has always been, that once you own property, you must protect it -- the cost is notable. I'd like to know why you're securing a forest? Please, in all honesty.

Hey no worries. Thanks for watching. I appreciate you watching and hope you subscribe to the channel. I hear what you are saying. There is a public state forest with public parking and miles of trails that is over 230,000 acres about 10 miles north of here. Its on the same road. They just need to keep driving down the road instead of going on my 17 acres of private property. There is no reason for someone to be on this property. There has unfortantly been trail damage and litter left in the past.

Are you worried with the camera so low to the ground that the tresspassers could just smash the camera?

The camera is pretty tucked away on the backside of the tree. I don't think any will notice it. I expect there focus is going to be on the gate. Maybe I could bring a ladder and put it up higher at some point? Good suggestion!
