You could always give it a try yourself with a little pot of Tamiya/Humbrol! Surely Michael could expand his operation to include painting out the X on Prospex Seikos! Impressive stuff and thanks for sharing.

Now that's a good idea, let's fix all those Seiko dials 👍 👍

Very nice and interesting video. He truly is the expert but I feel conflicted about how much his business is driven by bad characters claiming their watches are untouched and unrestored.
I think this opens up the doors just to show how their is nothing wrong with a restoration as long as it’s don’t by an expert. The past decade has sent out the wrong message that restoration and polishing is wrong when it really is the only future for vintage watches

Hello, great video. I was wondering if you sell dials too or just refinish them? Are you in the U.S. ? Thanks, James

Thank you for the reply. I am looking for a Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner dial. I bought a Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner reference number 7928 but it had a Rolex dial. Do you have one in stock? Are you in the US? Thanks again for the reply.

Does it lessen the value of the watch?.. for those purist collectors

I would say so but restoration is the future of vintage watches. Unfortunately, 99% of people can’t tell the difference and most people play off a restore watch as unrestored
