I really enjoy Jenn’s what I eat videos because not only she eats so many diverse cuisines, she enjoys everything so much. You can literally see her pure joy and appreciation of food 🥰
Jennnn I would love to see an “ingredient staples” for a Korean household! I think that’s the name I’m looking for. I always want every dipping sauce/oil/spice/dressing/noddle package you feature! - love from your Mexican subscriber who loves all your dishes!
not even kidding it makes my whole day whenever jenn uploads these videos - so many people make these what I eat in a day/week videos but no one does it like jenn 🤤 the graphics and shots are so aesthetic
Jenn, I want to thank you so much for making these videos because I’ve been struggling with losing weight for years now and seeing your meals has given me so much inspiration. Through your channel I’ve been able to find nutritious and delicious meals and have found losing weight and getting healthy so much easier
Roti is used in many cultures. I think it originated in India and spread throught Southeast Asia :). It is so beautiful how so many cultures can be connected by food. I'm Thai, and I sometimes eat roti as a sweet breakfast or dessert (drizzled with condensed milk). Do you have any recipes of how you eat it in Malaysian dishes? I'd love to try!
@@beatricewongchalermthan565 we generally eat it with some curry and dhal (which is sooo good!) and we also eat it with condensed milk too. my grandma on the other hand always makes us roti canai and sprinkled it with sugars on it which is really delicious! 🤤 in Malaysia, we usually eat roti canai as a breakfast. And yes, roti canai is popular in Malaysia that’s originally from Indian cuisine. As you know, malaysia is really popular for the diversity and mixed races so yeah, Malaysia is a food paradise where you can easily find traditional foods (Malay), Chinese foods, Indian foods, and many more! Oh, we also love Thai’s cuisine too! We always cook tomyum in our household! ❤️
Lots of Caribbean people from Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Grenada, Guyana, and even Suriname also eat roti! This is because of Indian laborers that were brought to the Caribbean.
“Today on my hike, I took a wrong turn and my 2 mile hike ended up being a 4 mile hike.” If this doesn’t describe my life, I don’t know what does lmao 🤦🏻♀️🤭🤣💀
You have no idea how much I missed your what I eat in the week. Needed this today to take a break from writing assignments. Hope you still feeling well. 😊
My favs from this vid: Soba veg stir fry @ 3:57 Japanese curry @ 5:02 Kimchi fried rice @ 12:27 All so wonderful, healthy and accessible, thank you Jen x
Its my birthday today, best birthday gift is seeing Jenn post a new video- especially a what I eat in a day! Much love Jenn, been a fan since I was 13, turned 22 today!
Seriously love these videos so much! I LOVE all sorts of cuisines: Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, etc. When i see you whip yo all these delicious Korean-inspired dishes, it makes me not only want to try them but to be creative with what’s in my fridge. I get too bored with just American food. I am such a foodie and I love seeing your and Ben’s foodie-ness shine through. Make more of these 😍😍😍
Thanks for another “positive vibes” video. I was over doing it with RUclips cooking videos and you start to get overwhelmed. Thanks for reminding us that cooking doesn’t have to be fussy to be healthy fun and good. Yakisoba is the Japanese word for fried noodles but in Japan it applies to actually fried noodles that are not soba (buckwheat) based but egg based. So if you want a name for your fired soba noodles maybe to flip the words, “soba Yaki” could be a proper name and description of your dish. Thanks for sharing the ritual protein powder will definitely check it out. Also out of all your dishes the kimchi fried looked outstanding - it must be in your blood. You should patent your version! Love from Tokyo
Wow! I think this is your best "What I eat in a Week" video. The music accompaniment in very attractive. Inspired by you, I finally churned out the energy to do my first "What I Eat in a Week" video. 😅
Awww, this comes at the right time! I wanna cook for this weekend and your What I ate in a week videos are always inspired me.😍 By the way, for the Thai roti dish, the cucumber supposed to be the side dish to it. So you will have to dip the roti into the curry and take the cucumber to reduce the greasiness :)
Really enjoyed the whole video but especially your feast. It was a nice little glimpse into your relationship with your partner. Thanks for sharing Jenn!
Your veggie soba stir fry looks like a piece of art, I would seriously take a picture of it and frame it. We're moving tomorrow so I'm taking a little break and treating myself to your video, cause my brain is running on 10% power right now lol, plus I have a 7 month of at home so I need all the boosts I can get haha.
Jen, every.single.time. you post one of these What I Ate videos I come away feeling so eager and inspired to form healthier eating and life habits. Idk why - but they're just so great. thanks and keep them coming! ps, you're glowing but, duh. ;)
Right now I’m fasting, but I’m soooo excited to try all these Asian recipes cause I’ve been watching so many of your videos and everything looks soooo good😍😍😍😍😍
Loved the matcha yogurt bowl!! I love adding matcha to my breakfasts too, especially with cream cheese on a rice cake, oatmeal, and chia seed puddings. 10/10 would recommend for an extra kick to start your day : )
I made chickpea tuna recently and added chickpea, a little red onion, celery, vegan mayo, relish, a little sea salt and a nori sheet. The seaweed or nori really helps to make it taste like tuna
I’m your Japanese fan! I love your videos especially what i eat in a week! I just started learning English and study abroad to the US. Your videos always help me about food, culture, mental care, and of course English :) I usually use Soba noodle sauce to Oyako-don which is Japanese specialite, using only chiken, onion and egg. You stir-fry them softly with Soba sauce and water. I prefer to add little bit suger and put them top on rice. It is super helthy and super easy! If you didn’t know it, would you try it :) so delicious!
i love to watch you enjoying your food, and i even love most when you eat with ben and both are like MMMMM OOOHHH MMMMM hahahahaha it brings me so much joy i wish i could try what you're eating too. Thanks for not stoping doing these videos! i love them.
Curry soba's pretty good too! It's great to finish off that last bit of left over curry, especially if you've gotten a bit bored of the same taste. Just add dipping sauce and water to your preferred taste, add soba and eat warm. Add some shichimi pepper powder and it's bomb!
I was watching this while feeding my toddler lunch and she loved the video, she was yelling YUM YUM and pointing to the screen, you motivated her to eat up her whole lunch 😄😍 we will be watching all the food vids now :)
I love the way you treat yourself in a very healthy but delicious way while being pregnant. ❤️ My first pregnancy wasn’t as smooth and I treated myself with a lot of junk food. The next one is definitely going to be a healthier pregnancy journey ☺️
Roti Canai is a popular and inexpensive dish in Malaysia! It's usually dipped in Dhal (lentil curry) :) Glad to see you and Ben are enjoying some Malaysian locals!!
My favorite thing about the new house set up is that we can see Ben's comings and goings while Jen eats her food.
Hahah yes, Ben is always shuffling outside the yard!
I swear this entire channel is like therapy for me
Same hahaha
Yes
me too
Literally!

hoping that this a good things as diabetes is on a all time rise in the US
I used to roast them but now I will even shallow fry them with some garlic, rosemary and lemon peel, they taste like mini roasted potatoes, so yum.
