After Castillo beat him and he avenged that loss in their 2nd fight, Floyd stayed away from legit threats the resst of his career! Proof in point, before Conner, Floyd opted instead of facing GGG at 150lbs (same weight as conner), he chose to fight Andre BERTO!!!! A guy who lost his last 3 of 4 fights! That's the guy Floyd, the so called p4p #1 and TBE fights!?? WTF is that? Then of course the fight with Conner, while you have a much better version of Canelo right there for the taking, much less GGG. I can't believe some of you fans fall for Floyd's manipulated resume. Born to box, that's why Oscar and GGG have 10x better amateur records and one had a gold and other silver in the olympics compared to Floyds bronze lol. Only difference between Floyd and other champs who have lost, they didn't duck their main opposition or wait until someone else beat them first.

@@arsenioward217 Floyd could take people out of their game plan early in his career when he was more of an offensive fighter. Its always been his trademark. The dude was a masterful boxer early on and then became a masterful defender later on in his career.
The way Floyd bit down after being hurt just makes me respect him even more. Nobody gives Floyd enough respect on his toughness.I seen him take clean shots and always come right back and land his own big shots.
@@junebug231985 The only one caught and publicly acknowledged it was Shane. People inside the sport say that Floyd has had several dirty tests but that USADA covers for him. There's no way for me to verify that but there are reasons to believe it. This is a serious issue so I only say things that I know to be true. If I speculate I mention that I'm speculating, most don't bother. I don't want to slander anyone because it's a terrible thing to ruin a reputation, it's among the worst thing we can do to each other. I know some things about Floyd that he hides from his fans. There are 2 videos that anyone can access, one of those is about one minute in length. In that video Floyd is in his dressing room ready to go into the ring. Before he leaves, he nods at one of his assistants, the guy pulls a small bottle from his pocket, Floyd bends and takes a snort from the bottle. Floyd goes to another guy, that guy pulls a different bottle out and Floyd takes a snort from that. When he enters the ring there's always a large towel hanging in his corner. He blows his nose into the towel, cleaning out whatever is left over from a couple of snorts. Nobody can deny this, it's there for all to see. There's a 2nd video showing Floyd before another fight. He's in his dressing room, they're calling him to the ring, but he doesn't leave. They play his music but Floyd still won't go. His assistants are getting nervous, looking down at the floor because they're uncomfortable, but Floyd isn't going anywhere. You can hear the ring announcers talking about it, but Floyd won't go because he can't go. The problem is that Floyd can't fight without his nose candy but he can't take his double snort because Al Haymon is in the dressing room and won't leave. Apparently Floyd doesn't snort dope in front of Al. Something has to happen, Floyd turns his back to Haymon and gets his double snort, Al was just leaving the room about then, Floyd can finally go to the ring. This is seen in 2 separate videos before 2 separate fights. It appears likely that Floyd does this before every fight. So Floyd cheats, but for me this has a different meaning. Many years ago Floyd boldly announced that he was going to ' clean up' the sport. As part of the effort he hired USADA to do all of the drug testing for all fighters. Sounds good so far, but the truth is far different then Floyd's sharing with us. Floyd has taken it upon himself to pay for the testing, and he pays USADA about triple the amount that the closest rival VADA charges. Why does Floyd pay triple from his own pocket when VADA is available for 1/3 the price? VADA also has the only fool proof test that can't be bypassed with trickery. So VADA has a more effective test and they catch cheaters, USADA has never caught anyone, they don't have the test available that VADA uses, yet Floyd willingly pays triple from his own pocket. These things are common knowledge among the people inside the sport, and the claim that Floyd has failed several tests but USADA covers for him is also known among insiders. It makes a lot of sense if you know what I just shared about USADA. Floyd would gladly pay triple to protect his reputation and USADA gladly takes triple the normal rate to hide dirty tests. This explains why Floyd announced he would clean up the sport. He had to be certain that USADA was the testing entity used instead of Vada because Floyd couldn't pass the test that VADA has. He made the big announcement about cleaning up the sport as a way to hire USADA without arousing suspicion. Since he made the statement re: cleaning up boxing nobody thought twice about it when Floyd took the lead to use USADA exclusively. If he hadn't done that and VADA was used for all testing, Floyd would have been screwed. He paid whatever amount necessary to make sure that VADA was left out in the cold. So Floyd is thought of by his fans as Mr. clean and Floyd still talks about how he cleaned up the sport. Here's the problem I have. When it became clear that Floyd was going to have to fight Pacquiao due to Pacquiao's rise to the top of the sport, just at that time the first rumors began to surface about Pacquiao. It wasn't long before Floyd took the lead publicly accusing Pacquiao of drug usage. Pacquiao first arrived on these shores in June of 2001. For the next 7 years he beat the best fighters in his division time after time. It would have been laughable if anyone accused him of using drugs during those 7 years, and nobody did. Fast forward to 2008, the first whispers of a Pac vs Floyd fight were heard, and the first accusations of drug usage were heard about the same time. It doesn't take a genius to see the connection and to deduce the reasons for starting the rumors. Most boxing fans will tell you that Floyd carefully cherry picked his way thru the years. His record is a bit of a sham if you look at it carefully. Then talk about Floyd fighting Pacquiao began to build. The 2 best, everyone wanted to see it, so how was Floyd going to get out of this mess? He couldn't cherry pick his way around fighting Pacquiao, the entire boxing world was watching and waiting. Floyd didn't want to fight Pacquiao however, he saw what Pac was doing to guys bigger than he was, and Floyd knew he could easily lose his coveted unbeaten status if he fought Pacquiao. What could Floyd do to avoid the fight and save face at the same time? Start accusing Pac of using drugs. Floyd had 2 allies to help, his father and Roger routinely mentioned Pacquiao and drugs in the same sentence every chance they got. Floyd wasn't ready when Pacquiao's attorney filed a defamation lawsuit against him. Nothing much happened for awhile, then out of nowhere came a huge offer to settle out of court. Floyd offered 20 million$ to settle, more than the attorneys expected. Why did Floyd make such a large offer and why so suddenly? Floyd discovered that Pac's attorneys petitioned the court to have Floyd's drug testing records released. Floyd nearly dirtied his shorts. The settlement took place, as part of it Floyd, his father and Roger had to agree to never publicly accuse Pac again. When you know these things you can begin to understand why Floyd hates Pacquiao so much. Pacquiao did nothing to hurt Floyd, he took over the top spot on the p4p list when Floyd retired and that crushed Floyd's ego. Then it cost Floyd a cool 20 million$ for lying and slandering Pacquiao. These things resulted in Floyd hating Pacquiao but Pacquiao did nothing to cause his hatred. It doesn't matter to Floyd however, he uses every chance he gets to belittle Pacquiao even to this day. After making Pacquiao nearly lose his mind over the accusations and the resulting storm by the media, and claiming it was Pacquiao that kept the fight from happening for 6 years, Pacquiao couldn't breathe without being hounded about the fight. He must have said 500 times that he would fight Floyd at any time but they continued asking him until Pacquiao wanted to vomit already. All of this and the truth was that Floyd was using drugs and Floyd was scared of Pacquiao. Manny wouldn't fight back against the slander no matter how bad it got so it infuriated me for all of those years that Floyd told lie after lie about Pacquiao. Pac has a strong character, he's kind and generous and never brags about his accomplishments, yet he had to unfairly withstand the accusations and suspicions of some for 6 long years because Floyd slandered him and was afraid to fight him. That's the issue I have with Floyd. He boasts like nobody has ever done before and the whole time he's using drugs, lying about his main rival, demanding to be called the GOAT and in general he's just a bad actor all the way around.
@@eljefe114 remember that even during their lightweight days, Floyd was chasing Mosley. It was Mosley who duck Floyd, using the silly excuse of having a toothache.
These are all elite fighters, you don't want to take a clean punch from any of them. Fighters don't tend to intentionally take shots anyway, if a fighter takes a clean punch they're going to want to think about why they took it.

Mayweather's composure when Mosley hurt him was just out of this world. First time anyone gets close to knocking him down while the whole world is cheering and hoping he finally gets beaten, but no, he stays strong and focused, doesn't back away, and once Mosley gets tired, desperate and starts missing again, Floyd gets back in the fight in a matter of seconds.
Dude I love how at the end of that round after they pass each other to walk back to their corners Floyd’s looking back at Shane like “uh……..is he good🤨🤨🤨?” and then 5 seconds later Shane’s trainer is telling Shane that he needs to stay awake😂😂😂😂😂😂
The second round of this fight is why Mayweather is an all-time great, more than anything else in his career. He absorbed two knockout blows in less than a minute and just worked right through them, then proceeded to make Mosley look like a Golden Gloves neophyte.

Skyy Hawk its impossible to outbox Floyd for 12 rounds, the problem is mayweather rarely loses rounds, and when he does lose them, he doesn’t lose that many of them, no matter how tough a fight might be, he always finds a way to get back in his rythm,, I watched the cotto mayweather fight.. cotto had a good game plan on how to beat Floyd, but somewhere in the 2nd half of the fight mayweather took control of the fight, and would eventually go on to dominate cotto, he even got close to knocking down cotto, Floyd is 1 of the most difficult boxers to face, you can have your speed, power, youth etc and still won’t beat him, .. to beat Floyd you have to be twice as good as he is.unfortunately Floyd has proven it 50 times, that he’s that master of boxing, there’s no way you can beat him.
To anyone who says Floyd can't take a shot, watch round 2 of this bout. He took two clean right hands from Shane Mosley, both of them right on the chin and he doesn't go down. And they were within 30 seconds of each other.

Floyd ate those two punches, didn't go down and came back like a true champion and schooled Shane. You got to give that man a lot of credit. Now imagine if Floyd did not have brittle hands, like back during the time when Floyd was begging Shane for a fight. But Shane was talking about a vacation and a loose tooth as excuses to duck Floyd!!!
Floyd's recovery messed Shane's mental up more than anything. He didn't expect Floyd to recover in the 3rd round like that and it threw Shane off completely.
@Nosleepjay Floyd had a court case against him and it was either take a plea deal so the fight can be made or go to trial and prove his innocence. If he decided to go to trial, Gatti threatened to pull out and find a new opponent. This forced him to take the plea and admit to something that he felt he didn’t do. Floyd was pissed at Gatti for that so made up in his mind that he was gonna punish him in the ring.

That's not what happened. He didn't take Mosley seriously and Mosley made him pay. He then got serious and stopped playing. Had nothing to do with either fighter being tired.
My favorite fight of Floyd. Not just because of the grit he showed, but mainly because he was so defensively skilled at this point that he purposely chose to fight in the pocket. The amount of skill he displayed in this fight is amazing to watch.
@@josephrobinson5452 I’m not saying he is better than Ali. I was just trying to please everyone without starting arguments but I guess that can’t happen anymore.
Mayweather showed him mercy. When they touched gloves at the beginning of the 11th round, I realized Floyd let him off the hook. Mosley was done, and Floyd knew it. He didn't go all out to stop him like he could've paying a bit of homage to a contemporary legend. He let him finish with some dignity.
Floyd is extraordinary, but if you think for a second he cut Mosley some slack at the end, you’re mistaken. That’s not the way he operates; he’s all about gamesmanship.
Paul Burrell Mayweather did the same thing against Cotto in the 12th round. Floyd staggered him with an uppercut with over a minute left in the fight yet he backed off and just started throwing with the intent to only collect points. Even Emmanuel Steward commented that Floyd could’ve stopped Cotto at that point if he wanted to.
Floyds perspective is different from any other fighter. Not only is he a boxer he is also a promoter. As a promoter he has shown how much he takes care of fighters by offering and giving them they biggest pay day of they career. Once shane set it straight with the media that he was the one that ducked mayweather, floyd went soft on him.
This fight is when I knew Mayweather was the GOAT! Anybody else gets at very least dropped by that punch… More than likely Mosley knocks them out!… Floyd took that punch like no other and recovered… And dominated the fight from then on!
Excellent conditioning like his Life depends on it. Plus, Floyd has a great chin. Something that wasn't talked about much. Ali had a great chin. A lot of great boxers had glass chins. Amir Khan.

From nearly knocking Mayweather down twice in 1 round to looking totally bewildered for the rest of the fight. Mayweather was a magician & scientist in the square circle
Watching this fight reminiscing I laugh. I truly would've cried had one of those big shots knocked Floyd out ... the way he responded and picked Shane apart for the rest of the fight cracks me up
A lot of people don't realize how insanely difficult it is to recover from a hard landed strike to the ear or near the back of the ear because it tilts your equilibrium and absolutely cripples your immediate better judgement BUT kudos to the man and legend ☝️ Floyd Mayweather recovered amazingly and came back to ruin Mosley's night. Theres a reason Mayweather was the champ champion champ champedy champ champ champion guys 💪. USA. USA. USA. USA. USA.
@J13 Canelo???? LOL That was one of the most one sided schoolings Floyd has given out. Maidana was close but he was fouling all fight and gassed in the later rounds. Too bad punching in the dick doesn't count.
I love watching Shane Mosley's fights. His overall record is great. He beat some great fighter during his career. But, the best thing about him was that he wasn't afraid to test himself against the best out there. A real fighter.
50:50 Floyd notices Shane is tired and watches how he walks back to the corner. Shane's corner sees it too and says "this kids gift is his conditioning". Keep in mind, Shane is tired and he's trying to stall by talking to Floyd after the ref already cleared them to throw hands (after Shane tried to literally throw Floyd). The tap gloves and Shane's still trying to talk. Floyd puts up his guard very briefly before throwing a 2 piece and it looks like he tells Shane to protect himself at all times afterwards.

Born to box, that's why Oscar and GGG have 10x better amateur records and one had a gold and other silver in the olympics compared to Floyds bronze lol. Only difference between Floyd and other champs who have lost, they didn't duck their main opposition or wait until someone else beat them first.

@@MrMarco855 Only one that tested positive for peds was Mosley 🤷♂️
@ASHLEY BELLING this man rlly wrote a whole easay 😂

Of course there's always that one shot, that's how he got him in the second round. He just didn't captilize him good enough when he had him hurt.
getyoasshome fact
Black fighters fighting each other are always the best fights in boxing.
Does anybody other than me notice that we seen Al Haymon more in the beginning of this fight than we have in the public for the past 10 years.
It never cease to amaze me to hear how everyone has the answer to beating TBE, yet it never happened !
💯💯💯🎯
TBE 😂. Marciano the best ever too?
Yep, they could not crack the MAYvinccicode..Protagaes, Veterans, Hall of famers, 22+ World champions 🔥
WHO did Marciano beat? Clown..Floyd beat the most champions in history while staying undefeated in just 50 fights@@el34glo59
From nearly knocking Mayweather down twice in 1 round to looking totally bewildered for the rest of the fight. Mayweather was a magician & scientist in the square circle
he woke Floyd up in round 2
SoSickRick 4 rounds earlier than he needed to be woken up
Yup lol
Floyd turned into a killer after that punch in the 2nd #greatness
Salute to Shane. He made it out this fight on his feet
Shane well he got's alsome feet and legs he's ready all the time.
Mosley moves like a crackhead
LOL.
keenan Wayne W 😂😂😂😂
If you ever sold crack, you would know what Keenan was talking about. I always thought the same thing!! LOL that herky, jerky shit like he feinin'!!
keenan Wayne LoL
Watching this fight reminiscing I laugh. I truly would've cried had one of those big shots knocked Floyd out ... the way he responded and picked Shane apart for the rest of the fight cracks me up
This fight cemented Floyd to me as the G.O.A.T
A lot of people don't realize how insanely difficult it is to recover from a hard landed strike to the ear or near the back of the ear because it tilts your equilibrium and absolutely cripples your immediate better judgement BUT kudos to the man and legend ☝️ Floyd Mayweather recovered amazingly and came back to ruin Mosley's night. Theres a reason Mayweather was the champ champion champ champedy champ champ champion guys 💪. USA. USA. USA. USA. USA.
Good point!
When you look back at Floyd's ENTIRE career you realise he had it ALL! A true great IDGAF!
J13 50-0 how
@J13 Didn't even come close to losing to Canelo lmfao.
J13 bruh did you even watch the canelo fight 💀
Jose Luis Castillo is the only to one to beat him, check our their first fight. It was a bullshit decision
@J13 Canelo???? LOL That was one of the most one sided schoolings Floyd has given out. Maidana was close but he was fouling all fight and gassed in the later rounds. Too bad punching in the dick doesn't count.
Look at de la hoyas face when mosely landed that second right
+lissongreenbanger True haterism right there from DLH.
+lissongreenbanger he probably came a little
+Obama Bin Laden I came a little
painjerk lmao
Oscar a bitch everyone just hate our blackness like wtf , I'm sick of people who are racist. We get it from everyone.
I love watching Shane Mosley's fights. His overall record is great. He beat some great fighter during his career. But, the best thing about him was that he wasn't afraid to test himself against the best out there. A real fighter.
Boxing will never be the same! Mayweather made it what it was then and then took it with him
💯💯💯🎯
The excitement in Ali’s eyes
Could y’all imagine if Floyd would’ve had one punch KO power 😂😂 bruh
Best part about this entire fight, is Mayweather coming back from almost being knocked out. G.O.A.T
Mayweather Jr is the best; there it is. Genius.
@@AP90x Prime Shane openly avoided Floyd back in the day; you're acting like that's not a factor. At this time, he was also coming off of some very impressive stoppages (Margarito and Mayorga).
@@AP90x pretty boy Floyd toys with him, you’re not a mayweather fan
@@derricksmalls2293 where did I lie? I addressed everything you just said already
@@coreyd6815 wrong reply on my part.
R.i.p sir Roger Mayweather he must be missed so much 🕊
Mosley’s trainer @ 51:23 “this kids gift is his conditioning” he’s dead right with that one
Conditioning is earned, never a gift. Floyd worked hard for it
@@Dmaj089 it’s still a gift to have the will to put in that hard work. Know what I mean? Not everyone has that work in them
That man Floyd Mayweather Jr is funking tough
the GOAT watching the greatest of our generation. RIP Ali, peep him in the crowd, first row.
The goat 😂 yea right
@@russellshrimpendald4261 Ali is the goat.. stop it.
@@delmarwing4108 ...the goat who's had his jaw broken...goat who's been knocked down...the goat who's lost fights because he couldn't make the right adjustments....the goat who got battered through the latter part of his career....the goat who deliberately let fighters beat on his exposed body to tire them out....the goat who took thousands of punches to the head and payed for it by having his disease sped up by the decades....the goat who let a fighter with seven fights beat him...the goat who let someone who started boxing when he was 22 beat him....
Yeah but Ali is the "greatest"
Cmon my dude
@@russellshrimpendald4261 Floyd Mayweather has gotten knocked down. He got punched, and his glove hit the ground, that is a knockdown. Floyd has also lost... if you look into his career, you would know. Floyd can barely say three sentences without stuttering now. Floyd also lets fighters hit him to tire them out. Ali has over 60 wins.. say what you want, Ali is the greatest. You can make a case saying Floyd is the best, but it ain’t the same. Mike Tyson in his prime would have murdered Floyd. Everyone knows it. Pound for pound as well. Does that make him the goat?
