The 2024 US Open main draw runs from August 26 - September 8 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 144th time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Taylor played consistently at a high leven and created opportunities and took advantage of it; Zverev's back hand-his most reliable shot went missing. Both contributed to his win.

Fritz has been around at a high level for a few years now .
I feel , at this best of five sets level he has also not been among the top players ; no shame in that - there are another 50 players in the top group in the same boat.
