Lets go!" Easy Snowboarding everywhere :)
Exactly, the more places to bord the better! 🔥
9:58 that tip is great dude I went into my local skateshop to do this
Excellent video! I’ve just got my new Freebord so will practice that before investing in anything else.
But this is a great help. Thanks again.
I think learning to freebord first is the most sensible and cost effective way to do it. The SBX is loads of fun but the same is true for Freebording, stoked to hear how it goes 👌
Wow the level of control and agility looks similar to the level of control with blading.
Excellent video
That's pretty amazing
Cool your back into e-freeboarding! ❤ Hope you'll do a review about different wheels and trucks on to SBX one day 😊 grtzz
Thanks man! 🔥This will probably be one of the next videos: testing all kinds of wheels (inc DaBlues), testing 5X trucks and how Ive been using it to improve Freebord riding for upcoming events! They're too much fun 👌
So sick man ! Glad you love to snowboard to work ! You need to try the LED wheels. They're fun to ride and they don't do the weird sound when your are sliding with the default ones. Keep up your videos, they are really great! 🤙
Glad you enjoyed it! There's a lot more coming.
I'd love to test the LED wheels, Aaron mentioned he'd send some replacements at some point. Until then I'll be testing Freebord/Off Market ones to see how they ride 👍
The new SBX actually looks fantastic and I am considering getting one someday as a result of this. I already have a 5x, but that's the king of downhill riding. It can't do too much else unfortunately. This however looks like the most fun commute to work EVER, and I have ridden one wheels before. 😅
It is incredibly fun and for sure you’ll enjoy it as much as me! There’s no rush to get one though, I’ll be able to tell you how it handles 3 months of heavy riding 👌
Edit: it’s gotta be the best sonic riders simulator 😂
And nice nujabes Backround music 😁☺
Thanks a lot man! There's a recent live version of the Luv Sic series from Shing02 and OMA and it hits hard while Freebording/Summerboarding 🤌
Looks awesome! One caveat. How fast do those outer wheels wear down doing all those side drifts?
Theres a section in the video about that 👍
SummerBoard is definitely shredding can’t believe how yours always looks so well kept up?
They only sent it 1 week ago (brand new) so it better look well kept up 😂
Thanks for promoting “used” equipment as an alternative that supports the local community. There’s an endemic of aspirational purchasing in all PEV sectors, which results in a glut of barely-used vehicles that is suppressing the overall adoption and growth rates of alternative transportation products. Fight the hype.
Much appreciate the comment! The cheaper used alternative isn't a great way to travel from A to B but is a great sport to try if the Summerboard is something you're interested in.
Gotta help make it clear that everyone can enjoy these things, not just people who can afford it! 👌
Wow, you will wear out a set of wheels on a Freebord in a few days? What kind of wheels were they? I've gone hundreds of miles on Da Blues without having to change them. I like when they are worn down quite a bit because it gives me more rocker.
@@CleoandCoco yeah my Dablues have lasted a long time too, but I guess it's comparing the wrong thing. If I was riding my dablues regularly for 20 mile runs (daily, which is what Ive done on the SBX for almost 2 weeks) I expect they would wear down just as quickly.
I'll be testing the DaBlues on the SBX as soon as I have a fresh set 👌
Can you upgrade electronics on the previous version; they sell for under $700 used.
Yeah you could but v2 motherboard + battery is very expensive if you don't have an original purchase receipt. (I think this is how it works)
Got my V2 second hand.. Loads of people selling due to the learning curve. Also if you have a V1 and the battery is playing up.. Rip out the BMS and that seems to do the trick - Disclaimer do at your own risk). Just watch your charger!
🔥🔥🔥 A W E S O M E !!!
🔥🔥🔥👌 How's yours riding?
Man, the Summerboard is an amazing beast! And I thought the Freebord 5X was heavy 😁. I've only ridden it twice, but I see good progress each time, I'm starting to get familiar with the board, trying to control acceleration (and deceleration) and practicing at low speed it's a lot harder to get balance. It's going to take time and I need to practice a lot, but I'll get there, eventually 🙂 I'm liking it a lot 😍
Hey brother is it okay to ride in a little bit of rain? Or should this be nowhere near water?
It's not waterproof so I don't ride mine when it's raining. But when the road is a little bit wet, if you don't ride in a puddle it's OK. Just keep it dry after riding.
I guess I'm trying to ride it how I would have if I'd paid for it. I doubt the warranty covers water damage.
You can ride it in the rain but you need to cover the motherboard in some sort of waterproofing layer (Stella mentioned she does this). However, this might also void the warranty and so Im hesitant to make a video about it. 👌
So Freebord doesn't work on level surface? :)
I tried pusbing 10km on it ("pushing 10km on a Freebord 5x"), defo check that out if you're interested. In my opinion you can't travel from A to B on a Freebord (if its flat).
Do a jump 180
Check out my freebord videos for stuff like that 👌 no way I would be using this board at the park if I'd paid for it.
