I believe they must use Comet 1's as spares for TVCTA Rail Rolling Stock since the shortage. I never seen a TVCTA Rail Train with a NJT Comet 1 Cabcar ever since the shortage.

Update from Matthew: The low-door Comet 1's got scrapped, the high-door Comet 1's were used as spares for TVCTA Rail Rolling Stock Shortage.

2022 here, and I miss Comet I trains. I also miss when Metro-North locomotives were numbered in the 4100s. I believe that MN GP40FHs were numbered 4184 to 4189 while the lone MN GP40PH was numbered 4190. In addition, MN F40PHs were numbered 4191 to 4194, if I remember correctly.
