Abraham tended to block bodypunches downward into his own groin, you can see it in many of his fights. Also punching a downed opponent isn’t even in the same league as a low blow, let alone the fact the ones in this fight were unintentional.

You either didn't watch this or you have never been punched before. That was a hard shot to take in that body position when you are no longer physiccally preparing to take punches
that fight was a shame, a punch 1 second after the opponent was down can ever happen. That was absolutely shocking to end the fight this way. It happens much more bad things in boxing history. King Arthur had to win this fight.
It's an effective style when you have a high guard as solid as his. Don't underestimate a solid high guard. Winky Wright is considered a legend because of it.
