Budget of the patient is tricky, some may be angry later because they had to spend money on something they will replace anyways, that’s why discussing it is important. Hello Dr. Arkhe de Leon, first of all excellent work. Secondly my Dentist removed caries on the surface. The caries wasnt deep at all. The pictuers doesn't indicate any holes or infections. He redeuced the size of the tooth but it still hurts when i drink something cold or warm. What could it be? Thank you in advance
Very nice work by you. One question regarding your composite buildup skill.... Why your composite increments are not sticking with your instruments???? If they are Teflon coated then it's ok. Otherwise plz suggest any technique for those who don't have teflon coated instrument in starting days of their clinic.

I started watching your videos because I was extremely scared of going to the dentist and had to get a root canal. Learning how everything works really helped me get over that fear. (Probably found the actual root canal somewhere else, but your videos were definitely the most accessible). Now we’re a couple of years later and I still enjoy watching. I actually enjoy going to the dentist and following along now. And I’ve also really stated to appreciate the art that you practice when restoring teeth. It’s beautiful work! That is crazy, beautiful work! Though as said, it's only temporary before needing to get crowns, but I still worry about the remaining enamel's structural strength. Will the composite bond support it well and bonded strongly enough for it to last? Because root canal tooth is already dead and the enamel will be extremely brittle compared to living tooth right? I'm not a dentist, just scientific curiosity. My root canal dentist told me to not be surprised if some day the root canal fail or the remaining enamel crack/break, because it's inevitable.
This makes me want to become a dentist. The amount of people needing these procedures that can't afford it. I would donate my services to those really in need.
I wished I had this option when I was in my teenage years. My front teeth was broken like this but did not blacken. It was salvageable, but then my parents couldn't afford root canal that time and we didn't push through it. Now, I hope I was working already that time because I can pay for this procedure already when it was still cheaper and I had my teeth intact still. Now it's all extracted with dentures. Other doctors will just go straight to tooth extraction without giving other options. Excellent work Doc!

I had a root canal treatment (RCT) on my 2nd molar on my lower left jaw last November. I did not have it crown. Unfortunately about 2 weeks ago the tooth cracked vertically. I now left with half of the tooth, went to the dentist who suggested to have the half tooth extracted as it cannot be crown or repair. I refused and finally he do filling on the exposed part of the tooth. Is it possible to crown a half 2nd molar ? Thank you
