I went to disney world right after splash mountain closed. I was very sad as I wanted to ride splash mountain alot that will probably be my one and only time at disney world.
Brand new ride? They just took the best ride in the park and put 1/10th of the effort and creativity into its re-design. Modern Disney does not have the talent behind the scenes to make anything with heart anymore.

Some people were upset over splash mountain multiple people said it was racist? I’m personally not sure because my first time going will be tomorrow for my birthday but I personally don’t see why people are mad over Tiana’s rude taking over! Yes it could have been her own special ride but at the same time it’s normal for Disney to make changes! Maybe I’m not upset because the fact I’ve never been to Disney yet and the fact Tiana is my favorite princess ever but I’m just confused because a while ago I saw a picture of a father and daughter vandalizing the sign/ side of Tiana’s poster! I personally don’t think anyone should teach their kids to do that but who am I to talk? Everyone has their own separate opinions about the choices and changes of Disney so I say let everybody express them how they please! As long as it’s not hurting anyone
@@Thatsleepypup_slumber Splash Mountain was a historic ride that was a favorite to many many people. It was also one of the best themed ride in the parks. About five years ago they decided to claim it was racist (for context, it’s based on song of the south which people have claimed is racist because of supposed stereotypical depictions of southern blacks. Many people completely disagree) So they decided to replace it with a black themed ride. It’s more pandering by Disney. If they truly cared they would have already been planning to make a Tiana ride. This was a half assed effort and it shows in the final product.
