My eldest daughter is blind and she enjoyed listening to you so much we had to replay. 💖 Thank you for the recipe.
Apparently He passed away around a year ago. His recipe can lives on through me
❤❤
You were the only one doing these that I came across. I convinced my husband and he got a good yield. Some allready turned coloured doing tomorrow!!!
About to can a bunch of jigsaw peppers. I had so many this year I had enough to string up to dry, make hot sauce, hot pepper jelly and enough to pickle now 😪 they are the smallest peppers I've ever grown but they produced a lot. Super spicy and the plant and peppers are gorgeous.
That's awesome I brought in pepper plants for the winter.
I ran across this video of yours, Tom, and thought I'd stop by to see how you're liking cookin' for the angels. (OMC passed away some time ago and is sorely missed by all of us who followed his channel.)
Awe. This brought me to tears. I just found him.
I’ve got a ton of garden peppers. I haven’t canned since I was a kid helping grandma but I’m excited to get going. Thanks for the short and to the point video.
I've never canned anything myself before, but when I start I'm going to use this video for my first batch.
I just opened a jar of jalapeños today. A batch that I prepared following this recipe a year ago. BEST JALAPEÑOS EVER! This recipe is a keeper!👍
Love the recipe!! I grew hot peppers for my hubby and i am harvesting so much I didnt know what to do with them!! This recipe works and its delish!!! Reminds me of hot pepper hot sauce my grandpa ussd to can when I was a lil girl!!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Fixing to make me a bait of peppers...thank you for your video on how to can em..yum yum...gonna be sooo good with some good ole soup beans & a pawn of cornbread
Thank you Sir. Enjoying the recipe. Very well explained!
First time pepper canner here....thanks for the simple recipe & know how tutorial!
Thank you for the recipe I just harvested 2-5 gal buckets of a variety of hot peppers that I need to pickle. I will use your recipe on some of them.
Thanks. I'm new to gardening and canning.
Thank you Sir , Ed , from South Louisiana
Tks for sharing this recipe tutorial with us
Thank u 🙏 very easy and helpful and simple
Thanks for making it so easy!
Totally enjoyed your video. I've been canning for 50 years and I've always used a butter knife when releasing air bubbles. So far so good lol
They will seal without the hot water bath I just use the boiling brine solution it takes a little longer to seal but your peppers and pickles stay crunchy. The vinegar is persevering them i personal use a 3 to 1 ratio vinegar to water still alive and kicking have a good day ✌😎
Thank you! I wanted them crunchy 👍
Gonna give this a try
Looks great I'm going to try it👍
Canned peppers for the first time - thanks for the recipe and the how to video ;)
+Tamara Previtali Awesome ... I hope you enjoy them.... :)
I'm looking for new ways to do my peppers and this is how I've done them for years and I can vouch that they are delicious. I personally leave the sugar out of mine and sometimes we toss in a bay leaf or a clove for a little extra flavor, but other than that identical recipe
You have my attention! I made your other “Best”, the pickled okra and it definitely was. Delicious. What are some ways you use these peppers?
Carlota, sadly, OMC passed away, I believe it was last year. But I'm sure he's reading these comments from his new place "up there."
Jeanette Waverly Sadly, indeed! What a nice collection of uploads he left us. Grateful to have them.
I just did a batch of my hot pepper harvest so, I'm excited to try in a couple weeks, love your videos, I'm a new subscriber !👍🏼💯 Thank you.
Thank you very much! :)
Well my peppers after 2 weeks are so delicious...canning the rest of my green crop...wow thanks so much for sharing....
I just bring it to a boil and turn it off.... Use Whole Garlic cloves instead of Powder about 3 or 4 per Jar.. More if you like Garlic.. You will LOVE this recipe.... Thanks for watching!!
OldManCooking great video!
Easy. Thank u
Found my canning mentor! This is awesome!
Is the sugar necessary? Or will they not brine properly?
This was awesome! Where are you from?
Thank you for sharing your recipe sir
thanks for sharing looks simpler than i thought
Thanks for watching! :)
Simple and great! Thank you for this video!
Once water bath canned how long will these last dude?
Does your peppers get mushy
How long are these good for
Why did you put them in whole and then they were cut in half? Which is it?
Can I use this to can bell peppers?
Thanks for the video. Can the canned pepper be stored in the shelf or in the fridge?
If you follow this method, of boiling for 10 minutes, then the jars can be stored on a shelf. If jars are NOT boiled, they need to go into the fridge.
Hello I canned my hot peppers just like this, following along with you as I went. I took a jar to my son he said the pepper was delicious but it broke apart. Why did this happen?
Never canned peppers before, gonna try this on my first harvest this year
You won't be sorry.
I've just recently discovered your channel, currently making my way through all of your videos.
Keep up the great work!
Yum
Thank you
I didn't catch it if you said it but do you boil the mixture before putting it in with the peppers or just room temp?
Yes, you need the mixture to be very hot.
Good job ! Nice video!
Thank you very much! :)
Great Video...saw you left comments on Bill Goudy's channel....so I guess...Bill Goudy sent me LOL.....Subbed!....Dave in WV

Canning for the first time, I've watched so many videos trying to learn and now I'm scared of deadly bacteria 😒 you didn't say to wipe the rim with vinegar? And only 10 minutes? Is that enough??? Sorry for the questions but so many videos have scared me and I'd like to do this recipe for my first run. Thanks so much!
I also thought everything needed a little lemon juice, maybe that's not the case for peppers?
How long will they hold?
I have some undissolved salt and sugar in the bottom of the jar is this bad should I of cooked the brine longer
Or stirred it longer :)
I'm gonna try this
michael trimble Good recipe... Use fresh garlic if you have it... :)
I will
Don't you remove the seeds and the core? I will but thanks very informative!
No.... I just eat the whole thing... :)
I ate 5 of these at once and now no spicy chips cant phase me anymore but it wasnt worth it atall
you forgot to clean the rim of your jar before placing the lid on.
Did you come here to watch how to wipe a rim of a jar or did you come here because he shared his recipe for canning peppers? 🤔🤔🤔
