Excellent..👌👌💖0 to 6:21.. What he is trying to say is first time we calculate I.e phi is (infiltration + water got trapped). And in second case i.e W, he is removing water trapped and we are getting correct amount of infilteration..👌
Sir, In the 2nd trial of W-index, when we are deducting 1.6 cm rainfall then some amount of initial loss should also be deducted as 0.6 cm loss is the total loss from 24 hours, but we are assuming that the total loss are from last two storm.
regarding W-Index, during the last pulses of the hyetograph, rainfall intensity may be less than W-index, therefore that portion of rainfall is not available for runoff and at the same time it is not initial loss, it is infiltration loss. then why we should take time te only excess rainfall duration, it should be the total time where infiltration occurred, which will be more than te. think about it and let us know the actual correct value that to be used in denominator for W - index.
Sir Ur W-index value is wrong...cz effective timing won't be there instead of that whole timing will be there.... i.e.after 1 step of w index...u must have stop rather than going for comparison
This is wrong!! Guys pay attention. Your videos are really good and helpful but this one is wrong. Please recheck . The rainfall used in further iterations will not include the rainfall from "ineffective" time.

just awesome....loved it!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
You're welcome!

For those who are confused : SK Garg book: read topic 7.43
Sir, what means by "three successive 8hr periods"?
-Does It mean rain occur three times.
Plz explain.
It is like raining for 24 hour and ge intensity is given in parts of 8 hours.
Hello sir previously u uploaded 2 videos per day but now u uploading video day after day
sir I want to admit water institute in India plze help me
thank you so much
Sir aapne to bola intial loss ko phi index me consider karte hai
Sir please tell this lecture series is complete ??? Or not
Sir plz suggest me which test series to join for GATE 2018
Join Iesmaster!
Why is this video not in hydrology playlist , this is very confusing , atleast keep your videos organised
Good
Woww.
sir abhi holiday par hai kya
Tysm
sir....soil mech. lecture mein stress-path nhi hai..

Prove what is wrong
If possible STRENGTH OF MATERIALS
Upload rcc lectures pls
Hii sir......
plz make the lecture on topic. ""collins method of determining unit hydrograph" in hydrolgy
sir while solving W index you've mistakenly written wrong formula ( P+R-I) + sign is used...!
Writing is very irritating
Please Improve now
som lecture upload plsssss
Deepak, next subject we will be covering SOM
W index calculation is wrong
This is wrong!! Guys pay attention.
