Spent some time doing this 20 years ago in Queensland out past the Emerald highway whilst backpacking in Australia,nothing like hitting good water in the Great Artesian Basin!! Great memories..

God bless this family! Usually people are happy to be able to dig up oil, gold etc. But to find water in the outback its quite a big achievement. I hope they are paid enough to covers all their necessities, fuel, truck maintainance, driller equipment and so on.
