Ive been an accomplished sea angler for 57 years and thoroughly enjoy your videos..i fish the same venues you do around shoreham, and i think that this is the WORST year for weed that i can remember. Congratulations on entertaining well presented videos and even after all the years fishing i still pick up occassional tips.
Great video👍 Gurnard are beautiful eating and dead easy to fillet. Pan fry skin on in butter& olive oil is my favourite. Gurnard like monkfish used to be regarded as lobster/crab bait but now can be found on the best restaurant menus. Only recently recognised they’re still amazingly cheap at fishmongers. But we catch ours of course 😂.
Another fun watch Jimmy. I have been fishing for a lot of years, and I'm still learning. Thin stripes of belly from Scad can be good. If you're next match gets moved to Preston beach Weymouth because of the conditions drop me a heads up and I'll pop down and cheer you on. Socially distancing of course. Keep safe.
Always a great watch. Been thinking about the southern league seems a good crack I'm not a match Fisher just a keen dangler to be honest but something appeals about it. So next year we have decided to take the plunge and do the European open like yourself. Enjoyed watching your video of the event 👍
Nice Vid Jimmy, interesting, I've never caught a Scad so will have to have a go. Good luck with the comps, and even though they aren't sharks, it's still entertaining and informative, cheers.

Hey Joe. You should pop along to a southern league match. It's great fun. 3 years ago I had never been to one and I love it now :)
