I just purchased the Carrera C8 and I love it. I put Quick slicks tires on it and a Frankenslot guide blade on it and it runs really good. It sticks to the track like glue.
nice vet i bet you have alot of cars in your selection to race, love all the tracks .i bought a carrera digital 123/132 dtm pitlane, lane change is a blast with 24 cars 20 are 132 and 4 are 124 as you sat more cowbell
Love the Carrera Gt Cars, either stage of tunning, I’m also trying to get a good result with the original chasis. Would you do a test with the Slot it DTM (black end) motor vs the stock motor? I have the feeling that new Carrera motors kick enough to keep them installed and thus reducing tuning costs. I’m currently fitting them with slot it guides, zero grip, G25, 10T pinion, Slot it DTM motor and everything else stock. Thanks for you vids bro 👍🏼
My 1/32 C8R goes really good, like most of my carrera cars they seem to get slower the more I drive them. Some really slow down. But it handles well. I sorta wish carrera put higher quality motors in their cars. The response gets sluggish. The "looks" of the cars are great, when they're going around the track they are a blur.
"I can buy another" that is exactly how it goes. Before you know it, there's 1500.00 in cars alone. If you want fast, I would buy a slot it. If anything too fast right outta the box. Kinda fragile and skittish, need work. I like the digital a lot, its well worth it to buy cars that come with a chip.
It's really helpful you put the tyre option codes in the video 👍

Hell of a good review on a slot car
