Awesome video, Now I wished I'd searched RUclips before I wasted hours trying to repair my logs. Fireplace working like new again after watching your video!! Thank you very much!!
Im so glad I found this procedure video but after following the instructions my remote or my receiver still arent working. The receiver will turn the fireplace on when I switch it to Manual Mode. Are there other switch and frequency variations I can try?
I have the same problem. I've tried switching variations on both the receiver and transmitter with no luck. Not sure what to do or which one of the two devices are broken.
What if the receiver does not beep? All switches are correct. Also, My remote does not sync to the receiver. Do I need to replace the receiver or is there another way to do a factory reset? Thanks. 0.584.201 receiver
Thank you for the video! But how do you program the blower motor setting? It shows in the manual that the fan setting is an option on the remote and when the remote is turned on I see it as 3rd option for like a second but then all that I'm able to use is the three settings that you have. Is there a way to setup the dip switches so the blower motor works?
I'm having trouble. Our remote hasn't been used in prob about 2 years. The ON button doesn't do anything when clicked. But the other 4 arrow buttons each will light up the screen. I have swapped all batteries in remote and receiver. Is there anything u can suggest?
I bought this fireplace and remote control used. I can't seem to figure out why I can't set a cut off temperature for the thermostat. I try but it does not seem to be functioning properly. The left side of the screen says 68 and then the right side of the screen goes from 66 to 78 and still it doesn't shut off the fireplace, any ideas?
Just for your information I took out the batteries from the transmitter and receiver for 24 hours and when I put them back in and follow these steps the man in this video shared the transmitter and receiver worked perfectly
I discovered the three beeps after the one original beep on the transmitter are a low battery signal. I put new rayovac batteries in about a month ago and they're already dead. I just replaced my rayovac batteries with brand new Duracell batteries and it is functioning perfectly. Apparently this transmitter and receiver devour batteries. I will be using rechargeables from now on with this unit.

Sounds like the screen issue. Unscrew the three screws on the remote and open it up. See if there's any damage to the circuit board.

Press and hold "on/off" and the up arrow for a few seconds. Release.
