- One of the best online races I have ever had. ADVAN Touring Cars 2017. Full online race DTM 90's at Bathurst Mount Panorama.
For those who cant wait. Best parts start about 17:30 (Nice fights and overtakes)
This was the second race this evening with reverse starting grid of the first race result.

This was incredible to see...driving on the edge,those powerslides when you exit the corners,fighting for every inch of the track,the hypnotising sound of the NA engine...the good old days of proper racing,I miss that era in dtm...

Wow, first time in the channel and really wasn't expecting such a good race. Great drivers all of you. First place deserved that win, he was there the whole time and was pushing hard. He kept making that move around the outside and it payed off every time.
Really tight racing after 18 minutes! Really gripping, and fun to watch. It would be cool though, to see some hillclimb videos like pikes peak or maybe more transfagarasan. Keep up the amazing work!
It's so much enjoyable than Formula 1 for example. At the begininng ohh a DTM 90's vid, let's have a look, at the end like jaw dropped blod pressure in skies HELL YEAH

Damn I was expecting the camera to shake 🤣 Come on video games, a slight camera shake, road rumble, debris all adds to the sense of realism and speed.
It's very disorienting in VR. For a normal monitor, Assetto Corsa has these features.

You can tell how much more aware VR drivers are than monitor drivers. It's like they don't even see you beside them most of the time

Nice racing! Really tight line and you didn't let up once. I only just discovered assetto now supports vive. Have set it all back up again, but it's going to take me a long time to get to this level of skill. Well done.

This man is not of talent, but sheer determination in training and development of skill and tactics for each circuit. Incredible attacking from the inside, I also noticed you use the triple tap on aggressive corners.! Great slipstream usage, absolutely loving the risk/gain asssement. Not afraid to pull back to secure position before going back on offence. This was definitely entertaining... especially when high.

What I wished games would do, is use the clipping to add more realism, meaning if your car clips add sparks, damage and dirt to that area.

The race was great, but at the last corner of the race I was disappointed you did not go for the gap.

did you use paddle shift or sequential box or regular h pattern?? i love how smooth you are downshifting

@@Kajot2111 very quick shifts. I think you can clutchless shift this car but it's more consistent to use clutch especially with downshifts even if it is slightly slower.
