Great job explaining. I just bought it to find out no auto focus after the fact. Was blown away that it did not offer it. I am going to keep practicing with it but may sell it for the sigma 35mm
So I have this lens and it's awesome I don't get the chance to use it all the time I just bought the Canon 16-35 2.8 . II Which is pretty much going to be my main Lens. Thinking about selling my Rokinon 35m but not sure if I should hang on to it... Just a big decision. When you have too many lenses. I also have a Nikon 35mm lens with a Speedbooster that I always use.
No deep pockets! LOL Just ordered, love manual when can use. Totally agree on when to use auto, especially when subject is moving. I use a stabilizer with gimbal a lot. Thanks!
You said they got AutoFocus as well ?? I think they got Autofocus for Sony not for Canon, For EF mouth they dont have 35 mm with 1.4 atleast from Rokinon
hey man! great video! i recently bought a Canon EOS Elan 7s (film camera) and i was wondering if this lens would be perfect for the camera? i bought the 50mm and i have a ton of experience with manual film cameras

I have the one with the AE chip. even so manual for me has a curve, but I like the lens.
This guy seems like a pretty smart guy who shoots straight. Totally subscribed.
Reminds me of Alpha Destiny.

Hi, when you use the adaptor for Sony E Mount, does the camera know to zoom in the area you want to focus when you turn the focusing ring?
Can this fit on a Canon Rebel T5? Sorry I’m a noob into this lenses.
Looks good, these suit a Canon 80D mount? Cheers!
Yes! I've used this on a Canon 60D and It becomes a 56mm because of the crop sensor. Still works great!
@@GeretyPhoto Thanks! Good to know!

I'd still say so! There are a lot of good quality used one so I'd say to be on lookout for one
I prefer completely manual lenses over auto focus. Missing focus in auto focus, no thanks.
Is it Sharp enough like Sigma 35mm 1.4 art lens !?
I've found the Sigma 35mm to be noticeably sharper so if you have the money, I'd say go for the Sigma.
