If you remember, at the beginning of this fight Freud was almost bored, not focused. He went after you only because he was ordered to. At first he lazily asks you if you able to give him a worthy fight. And then, in the middle of a fight, his whole demeanor changes. You hear it in his voice, its like he almost happy to find you. And the harder fight gets for him, the happier he gets. I think he is the highest form of an adrenaline junkie. To the point that he does not care if he dies as long as he can experience this deadly dance of 2 AC's for as long as he can. And at its highest peak, if you die. Everything crashes down on him, he realizes that you are the first one who gave him this feeling in a long time, and in this realization, i guess, he grieves your death. Are you...are you actually angry at someone trying out if smth had additional dialog? Are you 7?
Maybe I'm reading too deep into this but wouldn't it imply that Chatty was more than an A.I. remotely piloting an AC since he couldn't eject?
Could be that Chatty was the AC itself or that "Stick", in his name, implies what he was. A simple USB memory stick.
Carla treat Chatty as a real person begin. She refuse to back up Chatty as USB memory stick and transfer it to a new body. If its dead, its really dead.
@@Altimis I wasn't implying there was more than 1 stick. An A.I. existing in any sort of media doesn't suggest multiples of said media. For all we know Chatty could have had an android body.
@@theempty3340 The thing is...His name is Stick. Chatty is just an ironic nickname/title referring to how he only speaks if needed. It's the same thing as "Invincible" Rummy (Far from invincible), or "Honest" Brute(Lies...a LOT).
@@taylorvanhorn5333actually kind of interesting that all of them are/were RaD
I’m kind of confused on exactly how death works in AC6 - Several times you destroy ACs only for the pilot to “withdraw”, other times they just die.
In the Liberator ending if you destroy Chatty’s AC in either order he still shows up as the computer that locks the Xylem on course - but in this ending Carla said she never made a backup of him.
Eject
I don't understand how it works either, to be honest. It may be a prerecorded message. Y'know what I mean? They locked the Xylem's flight path ahead of time so even though it's Chatty's voice, he isn't really speaking to us.
@@SuperHornetX But there's no difference in the animation - no pod that flies off, no extra burst of energy to represent teleportation - what's weird is that Rusty literally teleports away in an endgame cutscene, but noone else does that ever.
Game doesn't explain it. So plot armor. My personal explanation is that as a merc you don't pick sides. You don't execute the pilots (unless the client paid you to) in hopes that if you ever get taken down on a mission you will be spared too. It's just business and you want the enemy to pay more to fight for them next.
@@Mtmelcoexcept Pater survives the mission where you *were* paid to kill him.

@@SuperHornetX The Ice Worm took the hit for you
Sorry pal, we are not ment to save him.
;-; he's suppose to die. This isn't fair
It feels really unfromsoftian to not include dialogue for this.
It’s not intended and can’t be done normally at all. This was orchestrated. In all other scenarios there is contextual dialogue to cover player possibilities. Like killing enemy pilots in different orders. Or killing the juggernaut before rusty leaves you at the wall. But chatty literally dies the instant v1 enters combat in a scripted animation. Same for the worm fight. All 3 friendly pilots are forced to eject but can randomly live. It’s not intended at all and can’t be affected by the player so no contextual dialogue.
What happens if you kill ice worm with everyone alive?
They remain on the field but loose their dialogue
Well the cheat for insta-kill doesn't work on the ice worm. You still have to fight 3 phases.
i saved chatty on my first time

what if you kill the pca special unit in the tunels or get in the door before it closes?
You cannot insta-kill it. So nothing changes.
@@SuperHornetX oh...
But is it technically posible to get to the door before it closes reaching the boss room instantly?
Does the game aknowledge it like this one with chatty?
@@autotactic No. You can't get to the door before it closes.
@@autotacticNope. Not only you'll eat a lot of damage the door will just slam shut on you.
I used a variety of weapons on it, from stun needle to triple laser, the Enforcer seems invincible in defense mode and can move at supersonic speeds.

He's not scripted to die instantly. It's possible to save Chatty legitimately, but the devs clearly thought nobody would be able to do it.
He is scripted to die instantly.
Let's get this trash out of the way.... NOOOOOOO LOCK SMITH! MOREEEEEE.
Guys...v1 is not the strongest. Think of those espadas from bleach. 0 is actually the strongest. Rusty even hinted at there being more. "He is next to none" none meaning 0. Rusty is the coral just like aryre
Rustys a man. Not coral?
And that next to none is refering to snail being a threat not a v.0 vesper.
I managed to save chatty without cheats, well, i did run double needle and double minigun which vaporized freuds health bar in less then 10 seconds after a stagger.
I do not think that's possible. You cannot target him when he's that far away, and the stun needle will not travel fast enough to hit him before he one-shots Chatty.
why are you lying?
@@SuperHornetX no, it is, i honestly got it by chance, since during that fight, i manage to get him in a 1 on 1, got a stagger early on and did him in, its mostly the fact stun needles kinda are too broken, use it on any boss, usually if u get a good stagger in 1 or 2 shots of both needles at the same time will do the job, unless its the cleaner, or balterus, or anything thats not a AC in all honesty. Its also how i practically 1 shot people in arena without double zimmermans and songbirds. tho a good player still beats me

and yes i got this when i was trying to find the damn battlelog of all things, so i was replaying the mission multiple times and its only happened once.
I think the reason why is because i activated the cutscene later then usual, since i was poking around the map trying to find that one lil shit hiding up on the roof which i didnt know about till i looked it up.
Yes i came in from behind, not the front, if im not wrong. I can try to record it recreate it and upload it, if you want. I do have 2 friends that can attest to that cuz i stream almost all my AC6 gameplay on new world, a
discord server. tbf i didnt think much of it until i saw this video.
This is such a dumb moment in the story. Freud is not even strong, so him insta-killing Chatty made 0 sense and only cheapened his death.
Well, he's suppose to be the strongest Vespers without modifications.
Freud is the reigning champion of the arena and unlike EVERY OTHER MERC he's a normal human without any enhancements or modifications. So yes, Freud lorewise is actually that strong.
@@LaereiHe is That Guy in terms of lore. Just because someone can run up with a Zimmerman/Needler build and melt him in 2 seconds doesn't negate the lore aspects of him.
Another issue is that during the Worm fight. Chatty's AC can be destroyed, so how did he withdrawal then and not now?
You want Freud to actual have a AC build specificly to one shot everything?
Two Zimmermans and the Needler/Songbird with the Wheelchair?😂
Lazy devs!!!!!
are you cheating, son?
