Most game reviews these days are useless negativity for attention. If I see Kev having fun that’s a good indication the game is indeed fun. At least for me.

As I understand it's a mix of people expecting this game to be like some spectacular, imagined hypothetical version of the duke nukem forever from 2001 that we never got but it was more of a homage to half-life and deus ex instead, and civvie being quite harsh on the demo given his undeniable hate-boner for slipgate ironworks which people then took as an excuse to shit on the devs.
Nevermind just noticed I missed the 3d realms vibe check video and checked civvies twitter. Safe to say yeah hes not a fan lmao. Said they did improve the shooting feedback but it's still a mismanaged mess of a game.
The game isn't great but its not bad. Its nowhere near as bad as some people are making it out to be. Its average at best and should have been delayed. I enjoyed my time with it.
This franchise always rocking it with the old graphics style (except that one time when they broke the rule doing the top-down shooter 😂). Game looks fun. People should stop being a pussy about how it's not Half-Life. Well, it ain't HL, so deal with it 😂
If their intention was to make NPCs move like Gumbi wearing a super itchy mohair t-shirt then they nailed it. And they look like someone told the artist “Draw people but without any style, humour or any kind of flair at all, just the most bland character models possible” Then the artist fulfilled their needs better than anyone could have expected. Perfectly dull looking. Couldn’t have been easy!
A weird real life example of a revolver with 18 rounds chambered is the Pistola con Caricato revolver. Not every revolver is designed the same go and look at revolvers from like the American civil war and you will see some unusual designs.
I got to question as to why is it easy for a small development team to do something like this. While you have a triple aaa team having a difficult time doing a perfect dark game.
