There has been what, 6 major banks that have failed. That's not including the ones that haven't been reported. There is NO way that all of those losses can just be brushed aside. The dollar is worthless.
Ric as usual.. love your content! Almost everyone I talk to is either laid off, getting laid off, or booted out by the company. We are in an unemployment crisis for sure!
@@Ricbender Honest Question here. What about the job losses that aren't being reported? How high could that be? For example, Truck Drivers that have been forced to shut down.
Initial jobless claims are up - here is official document: Need to read to the middle of the document -- The number of people claiming unemployment benefits in the US fell by 2,000 from the previous week to 231,000 on the period ending August 24th, in line with market expectations of 232,000. Despite this decrease, the figure remained well above the averages seen earlier this year, reinforcing the ongoing trend of a softening labor market, as highlighted by the July jobs report and the significant downward revision to nonfarm payrolls for the year ending in March and more than likely this is inaccurate as with most initial reports need revisions.

I hate to see what will happen when the Fed lowers interest rates.

The market might sell off for a week immediately following the rate cut move. But then, I expect a rally, led by biotechs which need lower rates.
No one has the balls to call this a recession
We called last week. But the Government won't call it until November.
