Take me anywhere you like. We don't have any of your yarn or clearance stores in the UK. I love seeing the different places you go to and the Charity Shops (sorry, I forget what you call them) you went to with Lori and your Mom were fun..... made me want to go find my nearest one...

The Caron cakes now sell for $12.99 when they first come out. The yellow was RH Chic Sheep. So much nice yarn. Love tagging along with you and Cody. Please do more 😊

We have a Ollie's here,I know they carry yarn but I really love the purple cakes with the gold going through it so pretty,now I want to go back to Ollie's here & see what yarn they have,I haven't been for awhile..😊 Thank you for reminding me they carry it..😊
Most of the Caron cakes are about $10.00 up. So a good price.
Thanks for taking us along Glenda and Cody. My Ollie's had lots of the blue also, nothing else. Went to Hobby Lobby in Altoona, PA. I was very disappointed. They only have 2 rows of yarn now. I asked the girl where is all your other yarn. She said that's all they have, that they are down sizing. 😢 They are going to lose a lot of yarn customers.
Glenda I am jealous of your Ollie's yarn section. My Ollie's only had the Red Heart Super Saver Bluebell yarn.
Just heard that Ollies is opening a store 90 miles from my home. They are getting closer! Cody sounds like a wonderful young man. He is getting quite knowledgeable about yarn. You should show his picture in one of you videos!
When the yarn sale started at my Ollie's, all they ever had was the Red Heart Super Saver, in the Bluebell color. I know that will be a popular color, so I will get all I can afford.
Oh how I wish I was there to buy that knitting stitches hardback book. And at least 2 or 3 of the caron Crystal cakesin.a nice purple 💜 color.
nice to see what ollies had. gonna have to check ours out. never thought to look for yarn. Made the baby booties just waiting on the hat now. cant wait. love this channel

I have never been to an Ollie’s. There is not one near me. I wish there was. The yarn from there looks so great and the prices look so good. Lots of pretty colors of yarn.

Thank you for letting us come along with you guys on your shopping trip that was a blast seeing all the different yarn that the dollar tree and Ollie carries I'll definitely check mine out to see what they have but I know the last time I went to my dollar tree they also carried plastic yarn hooks in just a few sizes. Our Ollie’s has very little. They had good supplies at one point.
I had went to Ollie's yesterday and everything that she is saying is true. The discount is unreal had purchase so much yarn.
As a crocheter, I’m more interested in knowing the yardage of a skein than ounces.
Even as a crochet knitter I'd care more about the length.
I wish we had an Ollie's. Maybe one day I'll get to visit one 😊 I know the carron cakes in my area are about 12.99 Your dollar tree has way more yarn then ours does.
I always check out Ollies and I have found good quality yarns there. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Glenda. I keep an eye on the Ollies circular. When they get a shipment and I'm lucky enough to have a coupon, my husband let's me loose with the cart and says "fill it up !!" I often get good deals there. There are 2 ollies in our area ( NE PA)my friend sends pictures of yarn from her close store and I send her pictures from the store near me. They usually have different yarns.
Your Ollie's has a lot more yarn then our does. I would like a couple of the blue, Red heart. Thanks for taking us with you on your shopping trip.

Your DollarTree is on point! Holy cow! Every one in the Bay Area is a mess and you have to root through everything to find what you want. This one looks tended to and nice. Very cool.

This was quite a surprise. My Ollie's doesn't have yarn. But maybe they will in the future. I'll have to ask them about it. =)
I use Dollar Tree Premier Just Yarn, etc quite a bit. Great for Amigurumi. I just wish the just cotton was 100%. I don't like using mixed cotton for kitchen, coasters and the like that would get wet or hot. No Ollie's where I live, unfortunately.

I did get some nice yarn last week. They did have quite a lot of the Blubell there, too. I thought about getting some, but they had some beautiful cakes for 2.99, and I decided on that instead, along with some soft bulky yarn. I know they said they might get more in, but I haven't gone back yet. Thanks for the tour. Hugs 😇🙂

Wow I to had no idea that Ollie's sold yarn nor any other craft items. I really need to go to that store here in San Antonio and see what they have. Their yarn is pretty cool and at $2.99 that price isn't bad either. I've see yarn for $2 99 at Joann's, but that's the very small cotton yarn. Thanks for taking us along with you to browse your Ollie's. Continue to share when you go to browse other stores. I love to see what other stores have, cause every stores have different things. Caron cakes at my Michaels store are usually $12 to $13 each depending on the type. But I know that the one you're holding in your hand is about $12+

Our Ollie’s has an extremely small yarn area compared to yours. I still enjoy looking there & generally get a good deal on something to use. Thanks for the review & tip to check for crochet books. Future trips will have me checking the book isles 😊 in our small town we have a Hobby Lobby where I finally found some clearance yarn last week-really good deals! Dollar World has a small selection & Dollar Tree. Those are all our choices. 😊

Hey Glenda….Wow….your Ollie’s has much more yarn to choose from than my local Ollie’s does here in Tennessee. I have never seen any Caron Cakes there at all. I go pretty often just to see what they have and mine doesn’t have near the shelves for yarn like Urs does either. Last year I did luck up on some Impeccable yarn there at a real good deal….loved it….made an ripple Chevron blanket with it.
My Dollar Tree doesn’t have the selection of yarns yours does either….mine is much smaller. I don’t think I have ever seen the cotton yarn at mine. Wow! But ur right about theirs….it’s good for smaller projects.

Our Dollar Tree cycles in and out of types of yarn. The last batch looked perfect for Teddy bear fur.

OMG....... your Olliees has a ton of yarn, the last time I was in mine, they only had 3 small boxes that weren't even full. I was so disappointed. Going to go in the next day or two and check it again.
Hi Glenda I love your shopping trips! I have a question for you if it’s ok? I need a place where they sell college school colors yarn. My grands going to Penn State and I need their school colors to make a blanket. I lived in Pa for 67 years but now I’m in NC. I thank you for all you do.
Hi…..you could try JOANN’s for school color yarn in their brand called Big Twist. I know they have a color called Varsity Blue which may match the color you need for Penn State. Just thought I would suggest that.

I managed to snag Red Heart Super Saver in Topaz at my Ollie's last week.
When you buy yarn at Ollie's, buy all that you need for a project, cause it might not be there if you need more! It changes all the time.
We don't have any Ollie's here in Olympia WA. There are none west of Kansas! Bummer! But we Dollar Tree's. Mine will have a fair selection of yarn once in a while, when they get in a shipment. It's pretty disappointing most of the times though. You got some nice yarn!

I’ve seen that loop yarn at Ollie’s. I’ve only been there twice but I’m finding that I really like it!!! The 2 different ones I’ve been to didn’t have much yarn there. Both stores only had like 3 yarns 😢
