Dysto did it first: ruclips.net/video/wyMOP7shZ2Q/видео.html UPDATE: This build is now slightly outdated since the damage type rework and galvanized mods! For future builds, you should be using blast damage and slotting in Galv Steel wherever you can fit it! Also, there are just more weapons which are better for this, I originally used the fragor just to showcase the premise, but plenty of weapons hit harder (and many can levelcap easily)
Nah there's like a bunch of ways to cheese the necralisk demos, you should check out dystopia's channel, he did the same thing, he also did one with trinity on like day 1 of launch :P
I used fragor because initial combo passive tbh. it with ready steel is easy 5x, if you manage to get initial combo on a riv it's 6x, and fragor rivs are cheap so it's more accessible to ppl+fragor is more accessible and lkjhfbvvffavjhdvcjkxzbcASdvsjfbsf
I've never played zephyr before so I'm not sure how her skills work- but would this function with any warframe or is is specifically an interaction with zephyr's tornadoes that makes it possible?
eh this build is outdated now anyways and uses blast in the modern iteration, but aside from that: The main issue with killing the necramech is that there is a damage cap per damage instance you deal to them, and that damage instance accounts for hitscan multishot. So if I have a shotgun that deals 1m damage per pellet on 7 pellets, the necramech will only take 165k damage (as per his damage cap.) We can bypass the cap by hitting the necramech multiple times with projectiles or extra shots, but the more we shoot the guy the more damage attenuation they get, up to 99.9999% damage reduction (which is fuckin insane but whatever lmao), so we want to shoot as many projectiles as we can as quick as possible and make them as big a number as we can. Since each tornado counts as a unique damage instance, the augment for it is mandatory for this strat to work into higher levels, we can also use xata's whisper to double the amount of times we are hitting the tornadoes, and using blast (updated method) will hit the tornadoes again all within a fraction of a second. We use a melee slam since the damage is really easy to build up to the big number we're looking for and the slam radius is large enough to consistently hit all the tornadoes. Since slams got reworked, you can use condition overload and a 0 damage primer to load the necramech up with statuses without triggering the 99.9999% damage reduction so that you can slam them even harder, but going unprimed with blast+xata+zephyr will always be easiest
@@nev546 oooh ok. that clarifies things a lot, thank you. On a somewhat related note, would this work on regular demolysts even better than the necramechs or do they have the same damage attenuation traits? and is the only difference for the updated build the elemental dmg type or is there others too?
@@zacharytaylor8463 the other demolishers don't have an arbitrary damage cap so you don't need to try nearly as hard, and also their damage attenuation caps at 90% instead of 99.9999%, so you aren't limited in what strategies you can use. Good hammer weapons for the slam strategy are weapons like the magistar incarnon, the sampotes, the arca titron, but there are other weapons that can also run slam builds so it's kinda up to you. Realistically the build could be optimized in plenty of ways and there are much more strategies available like dystopia's arum spinosa build and just using octavia etc. really this setup is just a concept demonstration
There was a nerf to electric damage that prevents it from properly interacting with tornadoes, as well as a fix to tornadoes to prevent them from disappearing when hit with gas damage, due to the way gas damage is calculated it was obliterating the "healthbar" of the tornadoes, causing them to disappear. The gas procs will all hit the tornadoes at once, which will in turn also all hit the necramech, effectively multiplying the gas proc damage by 1+number of tornadoes hit, which in most cases will be between 7-9, in rare cases it will be all 11 tornadoes.

"damage attenuate that..." i cracked when i heard that. i tried this and...works fine! thanks
So they gave us the tool to cheese Mech Demos, afterall. We just didn't know where to look.

Not to be rude, but wouldn't magistar or sibear be better, because of the incarnons? Or did you just use the fragor becaus of the riven?

only work with zephyr? for the passive?
for the tornadoes. You can use like saryn with this and it'll be pretty ok, but tornadoes are just the way to go for higher level contexts.
Why gas damage?
