Almost every problem that I have with Limbo comes down to communication and readability. Warframe is a game with a lot of visual clutter in it, and Limbo's abilities just don't stand out with all the visual noise of the rest of the game, which is really bad because you kind of need to know at a glance if an enemy is in the void, or if you're in the void, and sometimes it can be VERY hard to tell. I can't tell you the number of times I've died because I thought I was in the void, but it was some other effect that turned the screen yellow that I didn't notice... or how many times an enemy wandered into a crowd I banished and I didn't notice until I saw my attacks not hurting it.
There's a black little moving thing at the bottom of the screen if in the rift I've noticed this but it's a bit unnoticeable I wish warframe would fix limbo

Always thought it was such a missed opportunity that Limbo's quest does not explain to you how the rift works! It would be really useful for the for the frame you're about to build! Also, it might help make limbo a little bit more accepted by the community if more people knew how he worked and could play around him. Great video as always, Kengineer!

Triburos' low duration combat build needs more mention, it's where you use rift surge to keep enemies in the rift and get more of them into it. Rift torrent brings damage and with low duration enemies suffer a knockdown every rerifting It's the build that made me love limbo
Another overlooked aspect of limbo is how strong he is on steep path circuit. I have been to level cap there almost every week that I did it. Each time we had Limbo, he was essential for our success.
What did he do that was so mission critical if you don't mind me asking? He used to be my main and favourite frame until they reworked eximus and butchered most of my load outs lol. Been sceptical to touch him ever since.
@@sanemack2601 tbh i also thought the eximus update killed my limbo... until i realized that while they can move, they can't actually shoot you if they're in stasis, you just have to grab The Big Gun (trademark) and take away their overguard, at which point they'll freeze back up just like the rest. All you have to do is dodge the eventual eximus firestomp or eximus magnetic/leech areas which isn't that hard, you could also subsume Silence onto him like the video mentions to get rid of even those abilities while you're protected in the rift From my experience, the biggest threat to my limbo build are high level Venomus Eximus since they can, and will remove your healthbar by just standing near them
@@sanemack2601 he is basically the only frame that can completely defend an objective. so for defense which can easily be failed when the enemy level is super high and they can 2-3 shot the objective, having cataclysm cover the cryopod makes it way easier as you basically only have to worry about the Thrax enemies, nothing else can touch it. If its arbitration/sortie defense where the objective is a person and counts as an "ally", there are a ton of other options eg. Ivara making them go invisible and trivializing the mission. But standard defense/excavation the enemies know where the objective is at all times, so you have to defend somehow. The only other option is Frost spamming bubbles abusing the invuln period, but that is super boring and unsustainable (was used for the old defense world record)
Low range Limbo is my go-to warframe for defense, mobile defense and excavation. Cataclysm the objective, keep Stasis up and just kill enemies. If you want to be extra fast on mobile defense you can also get Loki's Decoy and its augment : Cataclysm the console, find the room for the next one and put a Decoy there, Banish it, come back to the first console. When the first console is finished, pick up the datamass and get killed to swap places with the Decoy and instantly start the next console.
I love using small bubble limbo in survival as well because you can pop it down, dodge into the rift and shoot through it to hit enemies in the cataclysm. Pretty amazing with chain attack weapons like the Torid Incarnon.
As an og limbo main I offer this: taxon is the BEST companion for limbo taxons shield leeching works through the rift and gives overshields constantly resetting shield gating
I mean... We could say that Taxon is the best for anyone if you're after a pet that will shield gate you... Why not just use brief respite or something? Seems like a waste to have such a shite companion be taking up the slot that could be used bringing a better companion.
@derekspringer6448 if you don't want to spend a forma for the aura to fit brief respite or use a different aura mod taxon is good and also if you wanna shield gate and run max efficiency you can do that too since taxons molecular conversion is a flat 200 shield conversion plus molecular conversion actually counts as a melee attack which can proc vicious bond (armour strip) and you can get a ridiculous amount of free casts using mystic bond since you can rock triple shield mods that constantly activate, I just really like taxon :]
even if it was not good, i really miss how in the rift projectiles used to freeze mid flight, it was so fun to stop time and prepare a salvo of kunai or arrows and see it mid air
Frankly I do wish that Banish specifically always pulled enemies into the rift, even if you were already in it. It would give him the ability to pick his fights a lot better without having to constantly be rolling around. He already has the ability to banish things back to reality, so it makes sense that the tap could specifically pull things in. I also wish it was much more obvious what was inside and outside the rift. Like if things within the rift had their actual model appear transparent to those outside of it, and vice versa. Lastly, I really just wish that Limbo's 3 would instead be changed to have the effect that when you kill a target effected by it, all units around that target would be pulled into the rift. As it is right now, it's a clunky move that specifically is just used to get a damage buff and almost never for the utility of rift manipulation. Just thoughts of a Limbo main...
Whenever I hear about Limbo's abilities, I feel like the executives who first received the script/notes for The Matrix from the Wachowskis. They said something like, "We know this is something cool. We don't know what it is..."
Limbo is my favorite frame because his lore, design, and kit are all completely unique. There's no playable character like him in any game I know of! Adding silence is a great suggestion and I should try him again in solo mode. He's very interesting and fun once you develop some comfort with his kit. That said, overall I've barely played him the past few years because DE keeps making enemies immune to his abilities (and to crowd control in general). Just try using him inOrb Vallis, higher level Corpus survival, or anything else with spiderbots or especially nullifiers and you'll have a bad time. He really needs a rework to make his effects more obvious (e.g. why isn't the rift just totally black & white? the little feet-shimmer is impossible to spot in a crowd) and multiplayer-friendly. Quite often he just makes a mission slower, when almost any squad wants it to go faster.
Great video. A frame that can be invincible all the time (not counting eximus/nullifier), has energy regenerative abilities and an augment for that, an augment for more weapon strength, can freeze enemies and turn freezed enemies into radial bombs that freeze their friends as well, select which enemies limbo wants to deal with first, lock down a significant part of the map, revive allies while immune, not trip the lasers alarms in spy missions sounds extremely broken. But only in **theory**. The limbo theorem geddit
Multiplayer tips and tricks: If you banished a player by mistake press and keep pressed the banish ability to remove ALL banished players and enemies, Limbo player can check the player bars if the banish "buff" is on a player. To players that are not Limbo but are banished and don't want to stay at the Rift then make a roll to get out. In defense missions or objects if you play with random player it is better to have a small range but higher duration the object will be almost invulnerable and it won't obstract the others play And most of all Limbo players! Don't be a troll, be tactical and helpful to the team.
I'm always so happy to see Limbo randoms, and being one himself! It's fun trying to fit both your teammates and enemies in cataclism to not mess things up for others Limbo, in vacuum (or in a Limbo, if you will), gives a lot of cc and support for the team, you just have to be aware of other player's positions
I was wating for advices how to help squad with his kit, and then 16:28 came 😸 But still a useful guide, thank you! Especially about rift surge and its augment.
Couple more builds of questionable usefulness: Negative duration, In favor of range and efficiency, with a focus on banish and surge A decent build if nullifiers are giving you the shits, or if you want to minimize teammate’s annoyance. It works by spreading banish with surge, the short duration constantly procs knockdowns on affected enemies as they constantly keep dragging themselves and enemies around them back in to the rift. If any stragglers get to far away or you stop casting 3, they will fairly quickly return to the material plane, allowing your teammates to mop them up. 4 makes a good primer to start the chain on non rifted, surge primed enemies. Accidentally banishing your teammate won’t last very long, and they can still use the dodge portals for 15 seconds of relative safety. Max duration, Max strength, Aquablades, with surging blades. This is more on the meme side, but can still prove useful. Utilizing limbo’s ability to stay in the rift indefinitely, you can attack enemies for free with the constant slashing damage of aquablades. The augment gives you a cheap to cast shot attack that grows in damage the more you hit enemies with the blades, and not just the spinning ones, the shot blades add damage to the pool too, which can lead to exponential growth. Max duration means you can keep the damage pool for longer periods of time, and gives you more than enough time to passively regenerate all the energy you spent casting aquablades (and then some if you pair the rift regen with energy siphon.)
Limbo's strongest ability is cheesing the hell out of newly released content for a few days before DE realises they forgot about him and makes him useless at it. (Also, he's the king of Lua spy)
One thing I noticed from some light testing is certain things, like using Thermal Sunder, to kill enemies while you yourself are in the Rift, will still award you the 10 energy per kill. I suspect it MIGHT have something to do with it wanting either party in the rift to satisfy the passive in a technical sense, but not sure and needs more testing to confirm.
I 100% understand Limbo is powerful, unique, and very useful.... I also refuse to ever use him, because keeping track of when I am or am not in the Rift, and where everyone else is in the Rift, is insanely irritating, and causes issues for my squad. I would be down for a complete Limbo rework to remove his anti-squad functionality, but I don't think anything less will fix the core issues with Limbo.
there is a warning to see if you're reaching the cap of Stasis, the outlines will get wavier and wavier, until it all goes straight again, ending Stasis.
Working around Limbo's set is easy. Stay inside his bubble and take out whatever's on the edge of it, or stay outside his bubble, popping in every once in a while to regen shields. In my build, I've gone full support mode and added dispensary to my Limbo. Not for Limbo, though, but my allies. Dispensary drops health and ammo alongside energy, meaning if my allies decide to go outside the bubble or get hit with an eximus ability, they can come back to heal, re-energize, and restock. On top of that, with my range and duration up as high as they can go, I've essentially created a bubble of "can't touch me" with Stasis and Cataclysm. It takes about a minute to figure out how to move around Limbo and as long as I don't mess with things outside my safety bubble too much, I won't confuse other players. Also, having my bubble blood-red helps identify where it is on most maps. It's fine multiplayer, and could be desired on a multiplayer team... IF you know what you're doing.
One of my favorite uses of Limbo is on the defense missions where you have to guard an NPC. Because they tend to wonder off, several abilities that would normally be used on objectives can be a bit dodgy, but you can banish them instead and as long as they are in the rift, they are nearly immortal.
One thing I'd love to mention, is that when Cataclysm's duration expires, enemies don't actually leave the rift, they stay banished and therefore can be frozen in place by Paralysis. I often use that while gathering a group of enemies: Paralise the leftover enemies, uncast Cataclysm, run around spamming Magus Anomaly, then recast Paralysis if needed, cast Cataclysm so that all enemies you grouped up get banished, then cast Rift Surge with the augment and voilà, you have yourself a massive buff and a bunch of enemies grouped up in one place unable to move or do anything to you, waiting to get absolutely nuked to oblivion.
@@CovertKaz already done, plus an updated build to account for his augment. You can search RUclips or check my catalogue easily at www.thekengineer.com/catalogue
I used to love limbo for just fooling around in regular missions but since the overguard eximus rework he is pretty pointless and worse off not fun to play. I think the easiest answer is to make him immune to eximus/overguard enemies while also making them immune to any of his abilities including cataclysm. This keeps eximus units as a threat but also doesn't make limbo's rift walking feel completely invalidated and pointless.
For a multiplayer-friendly build, put Molt over Rift Surge and use minimum range. Decoy is one of the better abilities to pair with Banish, and Molt is just a longer-lasting, tankier Decoy that also comes with a mobility bonus. You can bubble immobile defense objectives with Cataclysm, and then put a banished Molt wherever you please to distract enemies and reduce enemy pressure pretty significantly. Having a banished Molt lets you put it between you and the enemy, meaning that they will prefer to shoot it over you, so you can be out of the Rift with significantly less threat to yourself. This minimum range maximum duration build with Molt also allows you to cover multiple excavators by slapping Cataclysm on one and then a Molt near to the other, or simply rapidly banish enemies approaching the second excavator.
I use the augmented build outlined in this video: ruclips.net/video/9IY2KVZriDw/видео.html (or with an extra strength mod instead on the Eclipse variant)
Rift Surge is a extremely good defensive tool, if you cast it constantly you ensure that if a nullifier destroys the bubble most enemies will still remain on the rift, with Rolling Guard and a strong enough weapon to destroys nullifier bubbles they are possible to overcome eximus units are not really an issue, if you destroy their overguard they will be affected by stasis, with a good amp you can deal with them even before they enter the bubble, and if they enter rift torrent will ensure you can kill then fast enough. I still didn't build laetum properly but I think it will be the cherry cake of Limbo build, because it's extremely easy to fill the incarnon form with stasis
Nullifier bubbles aren't an issue if you change the way you think about cataclysm. It doesn't have to be this huge area of affect damage dealer, really its just a wider portal into the rift you don't have to be in it or even cast it on top of yourself
hey shout out you for this video just did an Elite Deep Archemedea with only a Nourish Subsumed Dante and a slightly tweaked Limbo from this video and despite all the imposed conditions managed the whole thing with Keratinos and Bubonico and the excellent teamwork. Thank you lmao
Having left Warframe when Deimos came out and returning with Dante, Limbo suddenly able to take damage in the rift feels like a massive negligent oversight that happend when they made eximus worse.
Limbo is a relic of back when DE experimented with new and ambitious concepts like reworking the entire lighting engine to make Mirage work, or creating music instruments for Octavia. Now they always play it safe, good kits but somewhat boring and samey.
Yep mixing the "meta" ability type and call it new frame . Cheap cc in 1/4 slot / enemies grouping or spread damage / self buff that always work regardless of enemy / invisible invisible / red crit some how
As a limbo main i do have a build that shouldn't be too annoying It does have normal range but i drop duration to 40% or slightly lower, this will require more spamming of your abilities but as of how limbo handles his energie i had 0 problems with it The idea is to use banish as opener and immidiatly cast ur 3 wich will re banish targets and extra smugs into the rift This allows for limbo to also stay in the rift for how long he wants It has a even bigger learning curve and u need to pay attention but i never hindered my non mesa team8s this way at all Oh and if too much is in the rift at once for u ya can just not use ur 3 or u happen to not kill a enemy it will drop em out of the rift for ur team8 to clean up due to low duration
*2nd most used warframe as he was my boi and 1st built frame after my starter and became a master limbo only to be hated on for saving lives and playing right finnally having a trusty video to show others*
When I listen to all these if-s and gotcha-s of Limbo's abilities it just drives home the point of how many nerfs the frame had undergone over the years. Going from a very squishy and energy hungry frame to an absolute untouchable master of time... And then nerfed to the point that practically 50% of EVERYTHING in the game can outright ignore his powers and needing A WHOLE ADDITIONAL ABILITY to even still be viable.
So in conclusion he is still painful to play 😊 I must say I like the fantasy of Limbo more than his actual playstyle, so I think I would rework Limbo to better fit the current lore and make him more combat or mobility related (like most warframes). Or create a new warframe designed to be what Limbo should've been without angering current Limbo fans. For his passive, I would keep everything but I imagine him to become an actual powerful rift entity in the rift (similar to Voruna's 4) maybe with constant changing looks or dimensions to make it clear that he is in the rift and downsides because it's just his passive. And maybe I would declare the rift as part of the void in order to make Limbo's favourite energy type void. His 1 could pull only enemies into the rift to make them targetable by his rift/void form and his 2 could be used to create platforms or his former cataclysm bubble or something similar to keep his protective objective abilities. His 3 could be a traverse ability (like so many warframes) which would make sense on an inter-dimensional warframe. Maybe similar to Nova's 3 but more chaotic(?) or some kind of sprint that inflicts random status? There are many possibilities and I haven't thought about it enough, yet 😊 Then I would merge his current 3+4, because both abilities are weird in their own ways so that his 4 would become a proper ultimate, but I would scrap everything that hinders team mates. Plus in that way his rift/void form could interact with reality.
I used to main limbo but after the eximus changes I wont touch him with a 10ft pole, dying to eximus units abilities while not being able to shoot back at them isn't exactly fun. The eximus changes were probably the worst ever as it shifted the game from a DPS race meta with the option for CC frames to a DPS race meta and nothing else. Why would you cast an AOE stun like limbos 4 that can't stun some enemies when you can cast a damage AOE instead that can kill those enemies that said CC cant touch? Plus if you want to go into any tileset that has a chance of spawning corpus units you can't even use a large bubble meaning he already couldn't be a huge AOE CC frame in ~1/3 of missions and had to rely solely on regular banishing, and if you replaced his 1 with silence (which is basically a required subsume onto CC frames due to eximus units and acolytes otherwise nullifying the existence of CC frames) then you only have radial banish unless you went out of your way to subsume silence onto limbo multiple times just to replace his 1 on one build and his 4 on another build.
you can still banish + stasis eximus', causing their weaponry to not work anymore, and the second you break overguard they get frozen. Pretty easy to do (especially with smth like Rolling Guard) and honestly not worth quitting Limbo just for it.
@@AnymMusic But why would i do that when i could randomly choose from like 1/2 the roster and get a frame with more survivability and an ability that just kills the eximus outright. Also the weaponry isn't the problem as it can't hit you in the rift, its the abilities they have that completely ignore the rift and can hit you any time if you don't have silence. The problem is that DE made CC frames into a worse CC than frames that just kill everything.
I mean, silence Limbo still just 1v1s a slightly tankier enemy as opposed to 20v1 with 5 eximi. Throw in operator mode, and you just easy kill nullifiers and swap back to Limbo.
Limbo was only ever good for being able to AFK defend non-corpus missions without a care in the world. Now he can do the same, just requires subsumed Silence and at least 128% range.
Most people misunderstand Rift Surge. The way it works is: That once applied to a target *THAT* *IS* *BANISHED, WHEN THE TARGET GETS UNBANISHED* it will knock Rift Surged enemy down and apply the effect to any nearby targets. This means you are going to want to banish and unbanish targets to spread the Rift Surge effect and keep it going.
i joined warframe solely for limbo and id be more than happy to see more limbos that can make use of his kit, i love how unique his power is (including stasis, time stop go brrr) also if DE wants to make limbo better for squads and new players, the first step they have to take is improving visiblity. they should make all characters on a different plane de-saturated and maybe darkened, the stupid visual effect at the feet is barely helpful when there's a horde of 20 enemies close together lol
Hopefully people will stop or slow down their complaints when I bring in my Limbo to a pub group play. I hate seeing people throw shade because "I'm trolling", but when you need someone to block 2 excavators in a small room or if they close enough, suddenly Limbo is welcome. Had 2 guys complain about me bringing Limbo to a survival, then left them at least saying 'ty' after I went and got them back up.
Limbo is NEVER welcome. idc how many defense objectives there are. Your 10x better off with any other frame. This is coming from a limbo main from wayyy back. The game has moved on, if Limbo casts ANY ability at all he is slowing down the kill rate of the entire team. AKA a detriment to entire team. He doesnt belong in any mission, solo or in a squad. Isnt even a good box breaker anymore since Xaku. He is utterly useless and in need of a rework more than hydroid. The only thing worth keeping about limbo is his concept and name. The rest belongs in the trashbin of history.
People just don't seem to understand the best place to put his bubble. I had someone place it on a zone defense mission so it covered just enough the corner with one of the control pads that the enemy interacting with it was entirely immune.
Honestly DE needs to make rifted enemies invisible to allies who aren’t in the rift and extra visible (like glowing at this point) to limbo at all times.
Idk if kengineers already covered this or if someone who knows will comment but I find that there’s a lot of mis information regarding farming frames/abilities Like if they stack, sure it seems like ppl agree that khora and nekros stack but when something like ore gaze is brought up it’s no longer as clear. I do have a ore gaze build on nekros and I can’t tell if it actually does result in more drops
There are 4 categories of Looting Ability: Loot-while-alive (Ivara's Prowl), Loot-while-Petrified (Atlas' Ore Gaze), Loot-on-death (Hydroid's Pilfering Swarm, Khora's Pilfering Strangledome, and Wukong's Monkey Luck passive), and Loot-corpse (Nekros' Desecrate and Chesa Kubrow's Retrieve). Only one Ability *per category* can affect any given enemy.
I slapped yarelli's aquablades on ma boi. it works in his alternative plain and does ok damage. also his banish works on loki's dummy which makes undestroyable aggro magnet. pretty fun
What is the build for burston prime I have one and still doesn’t do much damage am not that much into the game but I don’t understand how weapons can make that much damage with weapons in warframe
Shocked you didn't bring up a rather important part of Limbo's kit, or rather the kit of those working ALONGSIDE Limbo: You can backwards handspring to forcibly shrug off and refuse Banish as well as the state of being Rift'd by a Limbo teammate. This diminishes the potential for trolling significantly, as the only remaining "issue" is that Cataclysm bubbles can make it hard to deal with distant enemies.
I have a small bubble build specifically for squad play, had many people compliment my skills too. But yeah if you go max range you are nothing but a hindrance.
@@dontassociate That's the thing. I don't bring limbo to pubs. But every single limbo I've come across makes a conscious effort to banish everything and everyone at all times. It's annoying AF and as a result I make sure to nuke everything before limbo can do anything.
@conducktorwhirlwarstartera5055 I leave pubs with limbo. I've played with great limbos, but even then I would've prefered just about any other frame as a teammate. The best limbo is worse than a terrible wisp for just about every game type.
Surprising absolutely no one, Nautilus is as broken as reality with Limbo. Yoink enemies together allowing you to repeatedly hold cast Banish and recharge your damage with Surge.
hey can you confirm/check if cascadia flare buffs titania's dex pixia's i tested it in the simelacrum but results were better with imo or was it just a fluke?
Makes sense! It's funny because I can probably learn how frames work in about the same time or less just reading the wiki (except when it's blatantly wrong) but it's just so much more enjoyable hearing you explain the kits. Cheers!
So is the point of limbo to get mobs into the rift so that they don't move under the effect of stasis so the player can easily take them out? Then rift surge ± holding banish serves to get new enemies into the rift without having to leave it? What's the point of his ultimate then especially if holding banish won't get mobs out and back inside the rift?
even though I have been playing this game for about a week about 50 hours in game I swear that This war frame is a little bugged I was playing for several hours yesterday not the night and many times the items that you pick up automatically on the ground would attach to me like literally stuck on my body as I was running around , what this happens I couldn't do any damage at all nothing the only way I could start doing damage again was to use cataclysm . so now tha tI have watched this video well I realize that even though I am a noob at the game I have not a single clue how to play this warframe I think that maybe I will switch out with a different warframe the one thing I have ntoced about this warframe though is that it regains its juice fast I mean very fast unlike something like rhino or volt that I have been playing even the other free warframe which you get through a long quest line . Triburos' low duration combat build needs more mention, it's where you use rift surge to keep enemies in the rift and get more of them into it. Rift torrent brings damage and with low duration enemies suffer a knockdown every rerifting
It's the build that made me love limbo
Nova Umbral has a recent video that is absolutely amazing. Trib's video is older, but still holds up.
Like anyone wouldn't just have decent weapon and tear enemy in a snap
Does that build still work? It sounds so cool
@@audiojack5641 Yes it does, takes some getting used to with recasting rift surge
All you have to do is dodge the eventual eximus firestomp or eximus magnetic/leech areas which isn't that hard, you could also subsume Silence onto him like the video mentions to get rid of even those abilities while you're protected in the rift
From my experience, the biggest threat to my limbo build are high level Venomus Eximus since they can, and will remove your healthbar by just standing near them
@@sanemack2601 he is basically the only frame that can completely defend an objective. so for defense which can easily be failed when the enemy level is super high and they can 2-3 shot the objective, having cataclysm cover the cryopod makes it way easier as you basically only have to worry about the Thrax enemies, nothing else can touch it.
Unknowingly annoying hundreds of people and having them leave at wave 5 because they have to stay outside of your bubble to continue killing...
That is a rather creative method for fast travelling.
Never tought of using decoy as a tp rather than a defensive tool, that's just great
Crippling boring ass build for boring ass game mod
As an og limbo main I offer this: taxon is the BEST companion for limbo taxons shield leeching works through the rift and gives overshields constantly resetting shield gating
Interesting thanks for the information for someone who is using limbo again I will consider this
At least friendly fire in the simulacrum allows for it, and I believe also if you get rad procced

Just thoughts of a Limbo main...
perfecting timing. just finished crafting a limbo prime!
Whenever I hear about Limbo's abilities, I feel like the executives who first received the script/notes for The Matrix from the Wachowskis. They said something like, "We know this is something cool. We don't know what it is..."
"Silence the Violence."
- The Kengineer, The art of War-frame
The effect on rifted enemies used to be more pronounced, but they reduced it.
I just finished building limbo prime. The timing is too good.
In defense missions or objects if you play with random player it is better to have a small range but higher duration the object will be almost invulnerable and it won't obstract the others play
And most of all Limbo players! Don't be a troll, be tactical and helpful to the team.
I'm always so happy to see Limbo randoms, and being one himself! It's fun trying to fit both your teammates and enemies in cataclism to not mess things up for others
Limbo, in vacuum (or in a Limbo, if you will), gives a lot of cc and support for the team, you just have to be aware of other player's positions
I was wating for advices how to help squad with his kit, and then 16:28 came 😸
But still a useful guide, thank you! Especially about rift surge and its augment.
Couple more builds of questionable usefulness:
Negative duration, In favor of range and efficiency, with a focus on banish and surge
A decent build if nullifiers are giving you the shits, or if you want to minimize teammate’s annoyance.
Yes, definitely the king of Lua spy. Also, my favorite frame for all spy missions tbh.
nah wukong with speed is way better, once you understand the layouts you can just go super fast through them in your cloud walker
@@Nicolas_GEmentioning wukong in any discussion is like saying "just play in creative mode" when people talk about speedrunning strats
i always loved Limbo, one of the first frames i tried to get when i begin playing almost 10 years ago. Him and Mesa are easily my favorites
Surging blades is another good subsume which is pretty well known.
Breach surge limbo is also good as rift surge increases the surge spark damage.
Those ability work on other legit available frame too
I 100% understand Limbo is powerful, unique, and very useful....
But for some reason it only appears on switch from my testing.
Now i kept testing and if you turn the contrast and brightness up you'll see the warning
This Doesn't Work on the Arbitration Operative.
This brings back memories of when Sorties were introduced...

4:53
Funny how ones like revenant (brain dead) can get patch up-to-date to have bare bone invisibility for eximus ignore how ability intended to work

Loved the video! Thank you for making guides this detailed and entertaining, could you make one for Harrow?

I'm super curious about your Lavos build, I don't know much about him, but I always see him in your videos! ❤
I use the augmented build outlined in this video: ruclips.net/video/9IY2KVZriDw/видео.html (or with an extra strength mod instead on the Eclipse variant)
Rift Surge is a extremely good defensive tool, if you cast it constantly you ensure that if a nullifier destroys the bubble most enemies will still remain on the rift, with Rolling Guard and a strong enough weapon to destroys nullifier bubbles they are possible to overcome
eximus units are not really an issue, if you destroy their overguard they will be affected by stasis, with a good amp you can deal with them even before they enter the bubble, and if they enter rift torrent will ensure you can kill then fast enough.
Also nerfing Everything.

As a limbo main i do have a build that shouldn't be too annoying
It does have normal range but i drop duration to 40% or slightly lower, this will require more spamming of your abilities but as of how limbo handles his energie i had 0 problems with it
The idea is to use banish as opener and immidiatly cast ur 3 wich will re banish targets and extra smugs into the rift
This allows for limbo to also stay in the rift for how long he wants
It has a even bigger learning curve and u need to pay attention but i never hindered my non mesa team8s this way at all
Oh and if too much is in the rift at once for u ya can just not use ur 3 or u happen to not kill a enemy it will drop em out of the rift for ur team8 to clean up due to low duration

And then nerfed to the point that practically 50% of EVERYTHING in the game can outright ignore his powers and needing A WHOLE ADDITIONAL ABILITY to even still be viable.

Narrow limbo is a must w/natural talent or Yshards in 9/10 cases but that's just me
Sorry if it slipped by, I did mention that the builds post-newbie include 2 casting speed shards.
As a Limbo main, I must point out that the rift tear he leaves behind can also banish enemies as well if he dodges too close to them.
So in conclusion he is still painful to play 😊
I must say I like the fantasy of Limbo more than his actual playstyle, so I think I would rework Limbo to better fit the current lore and make him more combat or mobility related (like most warframes).
There are many possibilities and I haven't thought about it enough, yet 😊
Then I would merge his current 3+4, because both abilities are weird in their own ways so that his 4 would become a proper ultimate, but I would scrap everything that hinders team mates.
Try zylok with eximus advantage. They won't be bothering you anymore
Or killing them but both is the goal
i joined warframe solely for limbo and id be more than happy to see more limbos that can make use of his kit, i love how unique his power is (including stasis, time stop go brrr)
also if DE wants to make limbo better for squads and new players, the first step they have to take is improving visiblity. they should make all characters on a different plane de-saturated and maybe darkened, the stupid visual effect at the feet is barely helpful when there's a horde of 20 enemies close together lol

I thin kthat if and when i ever figure out how to properly play this warframe i am going to see if her e is a prime version of it, because I can get across a map not to bad with this warframe again I am using all of its abilities wrong I think I need an actual manual to figure it all out hehe
wow the spy mission this is huge I am terrible at those missions , I definitely need to learn how to use this
That Smite cheese is so cracked lmao
what gun are you using?
Limbo desperately needs a TLC update like Inaros is getting.
Would be useful to list the abilities his four just turns off for other frames. Zephyr tornados come to mind as one that just doesn't function as intended.
I had that problem too because if you’re in the rift and cast it (even in cataclysm) you can’t prime the tornadoes. But the cc still works at least.
What about the "AquaBlades" Limbo build?
Hey Ken...With the whisper in the wall update looking very nechramechy and my need to forma my nechramech. How bout a video breaking down the best way to do so
As in a guide to Voidrig and how to mod it for each forma invested? Got you covered: ruclips.net/video/afkCsl497Ic/видео.html
b.. but.. limbo make the operator can't pick up any pickable items such as extractor power cell and ayatan star
Why can't I use my 1? It always says "Not a valid Target"
you need to be on the same plane as the enemy. So if you're in the rift, but the enemy isn't, you can't banish them (with your 1 anyway)
For anyone struggling to farm Grendel:
Limbo
Ember
Styanax
Wisp, Rhino, or Saryn
There's your team comp.
or farm plat and buy
@@noahedenborg4221 lolol. Yeah, that's also an option
My favourite warframe
limbo is a nightmare to using. I feel tired when catching time with trinity 3, 4 but limbo is a different( and higher) level. I have to know im in rift or not, which mobs in rift or not. and a nullthing can break my plan easily.
After trying to play limbo, i realize how beautiful trinity is.
Having Banish as his helminth only makes me sad that Switch Teleport wasn't Loki's
Y
What you rather have the main utility of a frame copy by everyone , abusable till DE notice and strikes with unreasonable nerf
@@ammi5311 Nah I just meant for trolling. They really need to tweak it to not move and zoom out teammates screens, support Loki can't exist because people just leave. I just wanna help but they hate me for it 😭
I was limbo main for many years. Sad part is that certain "limbo racism" still occurs
As a Limbo main, he is extremely OP.
I come to watch the kengineer and here you freaking are
@@sajinkahnalt I am everywhere 👀
as a warframe playe, eximus
@@dapro5052 ah one who thinks eximus bother Limbo? If you knew what I knew the only threat to you would be Violence.
i tend to use limbo as a battle dome maker XD
The limbo kela chz is good, but you'd be surprised. Come sortie time, how many players dont know Trinity can chz her faster and technically easier to achieve and cheaper
Harrow can protect the entire team from damage with his 4, fully charging it with one hit from the Orbital Strike, then chain Kela in place and rail shots into her head for a fast kill
He's crazy complicated to play at first.
