To think how much affordable gimbals are nowadays and the amount of tech packed into em is crazy! I still remember DJI's first ever smart phone gimbal was around $600.00AUD back in the day! Nice review as always David.

As a left handed person, this world can be full of frustrations. but it looks a mega beast.
The on gimbal fill night is actually a BIG pro for me shooting mainly events/festivals…. I do prefer an off camera light source but in events when we need the light it’s very handy rather than balancing the gimbal with an on camera light, plus it’s an easier balance & lighter to have the light built into the gimbal 😅🤣
I am excited to see one day the first gimbal that can balance itself.
According from the official website . It mentions "four 18650 batteries can meet the needs of high intensity shooting for a day " .
Is there any way to change 18650 battery by yourself during shoots ?

Hello, I'm new to the gimbal scene and I was wondering if it's possible to shoot with the camera pointed straight down? Looks like when the gimbal is properly balanced, the camera should always be pointed straight ahead no matter how you hold the gimbal. But if I want to force it to point straight down but still balanced, can I do that? Also I've heard that the included fill light blocks the tilt axis enough that it limits the full range of motion. Is that an issue to make it point straight down?
This gimbal is heavier than others out of the box. Is that ever an issue for you? Coming from one that’s about 2 lbs.

Can you not press a button to go into portrait mode? I'm looking to upgrade from my Ronin SC which has this, and im almost always in situations where i want to switch orientation and having ti rebalance every time is a deal breaker for me.
Crane 4 with Portrait mode. Double press the mode switch to switch among POV/V/Portrait mode.
for left-handed, can you switch the place of the wrist rest and the handle
You can remove and mount the wrist rest and grip at different side.
Does the led lamp obstruct range of motion without the diffuser?

So the Zhiyun site includes no Canon C series as compatible. B&H guys said my good old C100 (MARK ONE!) could fly on this.
So, I think they must've been thinking in terms of the C100's weight and height, but I'm afraid perhaps it's gonna be a problem with electronics, that pressing the record button or other functions on the Crane 4 won't communicate to the C100? I need some help here! Does anyone know if I can do this?
