I can't live without my rags and gaff tape!!! I keep a few of each in my camera bag, light stand bag, in my truck...I used the cloths to clean my gear and when I'm doing product photography, everything needs to look shiny and clean, it's also a good idea to keep latex gloves in your kit, the powderless kind... Although, I did get pulled over once and the officer upon seeing saw all my gear in my truck asked if it was ok to take a look and the gaff tape, zip ties and gloves required some explaining, lol. So, I've ditched the zip ties and no use Velcro ties and rubber bands.
Fun list! I bought the AA batteries. I've been wanting to try some lithium ion ones in my Godox triggers. I love the USB port. I can also leave these on my workbench in the garage without needing to buy another charger. I have had the Smallrig tool for a few years and it's been super handy. I imagine if you shoot video and use cages, etc, it's even more invaluable.
Absolutely Mark, those AA batteries are a game changer for easy charging. Even just being able to have them in your case on location hooked up to a little power bank is so convenient!
David great stuff. I really like the rechargeable batteries, the multi port cable and the large cloths. This may sound a bit gross, but I don't throw away my used toothbrushes, they work perfect for small area and now camera bodies and lenses.
for the multi cable I would recommend type c to c then adapters to others like type a, micro. just because you can use usb pd to charge upto 100w this way
Great video David. Love these kinds of videos. I didn’t know several of these things existed! ALSO… Good things come to those who wait! If you didn’t stick around to the very end you missed it! 🐶
Great job on the video David! Thanks for making it. It's a good list. In the honorable mention column, I would have to put some kind of magnifying viewfinder. Bout $25, but changes the game for outdoor shoots.
I am taking a multiple day motorcycle trip soon. I will be filming with several different go pros (Hero 8, 9, 11, and , Max 360). I was wondering if you have a video about common settings to use across these cameras to make editing easy and consistent.
These are all great items to have. I'm definitely ordering a few of these. Thanks for another helpful video. Not sure you've done so already but I would love to see a video about how to start a photography business. Been thinking about taking photography seriously and trying to make money off it
What? We have to wrap the tape on the pen ourselves! jk I have been looking for some inexpensive white balance cards because I have lost 2 of the $69 ones. Have been using the back sides of scripts for months.

Just checked the Pale Blue batteries link and Amazon says they are not available. Any suggestions for something similar ?
Should make a list of 10 things under $100!

The seen clothe I seen a company make them like a piece of pizza to a taco. Like add style to a lense cleaner.

10 things you need to buy, which are 💩. But you need to buy so I don’t have to get a real job 🤣🤣🤣
