    Great video, Dan is such a great guy thanks for uploading this. Showing his respect Ed is the American icon when one thinks of classical Karate, very sad he didn't get to make it in his 60s.

    Not to mention his accomplishments but not too many people can say they were close to Elvis and Bruce Lee both.

    Tom, can you tell me if my former instructor the late Grand Master Ralph Castro was in attendance at this event? I didn't begin training with Grand Master Castro until 1993 and this event was 1988

      I don't recall Master Castro being present. He must have had a prior commitment that he couldn't break. If he was present, he certainly would have been asked to speak at the podium and to sit in the Brass Ring.

      @@TomBleecker him and i spoke a lot about Ed Parker, Bruce Lee, William Chow etc., but this event never came up. Thanks

      Bruce never punched Dan Inosanto. Bruce punched heavy bags and focus pads.
