I would shake your hand for this video sir. Saved me on the side of the road
🤝. Glad video helped you and best part is. Your did it urself!!!
I used this video to replace the radiator in my 1998 Sienna...pretty much the same but no temperature sensor and a smaller fuse box in front of the battery. As other have mentioned, I left the fans on until after removing the radiator from the vehicle. I also disconnected the lower hoses from the radiator itself instead of from the engine/transmission like you did. I know you have addressed why you did it that way...I just found it easier the other way. However, by leaving the fans on and disconnecting the lower hoses from the radiator, I ended up disconnecting and reconnecting the lower hoses from underneath the vehicle (instead of from above like you did). All-in-all, a very helpful video and I appreciate you taking the time to create and post it.
Yup thank u !! Glad u did this urself
AWESOME video. My has that pink stuck like yours was showing. I can't change it myself, wish I could, I will have to go to the shop, I did change the door handles to all the doors. I love to watch people fixing their own cars. Some things I do but this job is too much for me being a woman and up in age. Blessings to you, again loved the video,
Thank u … yeah it’s kinda simple but is big job!! Let the shop do it but u have an idea what is expected to be done!!
Thank you! We have a 2000 Toyota sienna. You've helped me, I just subbed to your channel 👍🇺🇸
Thanks again! 👍
Thanks for the sub!
On another video they pull the radiator out with the fans on, then transfer the fans to the new radiator. That seems much easier. But thanks for the video - it's helpful to see multiple people do it different ways to know what's possible.
Hi; excellent demonstration is very helpful. Thank you !!!
Great video, well explained.
Yup thank you
Excellent doing it tomorrow!
Thank you
bada-bing, bada-bang!!!... its that easy. Great video!!!

Thanks for you videos they help a lot, I planing to change the thermostat by any chance do you have a video for sienna 99 and also did you have recommendations when I will pouring the antifreeze thanks again.
I don’t have 99 sienna video and what u mean pouring antifreze
@@RBTheMechanic yes I planing to Change the radiador and the thermostat, but when I added the antifreeze I need to relish the air from the cooling sistema, because I wanted to take out the old antifreeze, that’s is it correct o I’m wrong, thank you for you help and replay my back.
@@jorgeluisvidrio5849 u don’t need to release any air. Open the radiator cap that will let it breath and open the radiator valve
Ok really really going to help me, I appreciate, thank you so much for your time and your videos.
@@jorgeluisvidrio5849 glad video help
Thank you, I will replace mine this weekend. Can I use WD40 to loose and remove the rubber hose? Can I use water to clean the new radiator first before I connect together and add the cooling?
NorCal OutDoor u don’t need to clean the new radiator and wd40 sure go ahead no harm in that
question. in front of the radiator there is another smaller looking radiator.what is that smaller one used for.any help will be much appreciated.
If u got the same van the one front of radiator is condenser it’s for ac
You don’t have to remove the fans separately, you can remove it with the entire radiator and swap it out outside the car.
Yes u can … just to show if sum one want to remove fan
@@RBTheMechanic😂
I dont get it... if you're going to disconnect the hoses from the radiator anyway, and reattach them to the corresponding areas, why not just detach the hoses from the radiator and leave them attached to the inside and just reconnect them once you put in the new radiator?
because it is safer to disconnect outside, it is also more practical you can observe if the houses are damaged and make a change.
Super good job. You're hired. I don't want to do this crap. I Sienna - every stupid door handle is broken. The seat is all jammed up. Imo - sell it off. I'm looking for a nice large Suburban. So easy to work on. These Sienna's are a nightmare. So I spend a bit more in gas. I don't drive that much. The labor costs on a Sienna is way beyond the gas cost of driving the Big American Vehicles. And the benefits of a Suburban or Expedition way accede the the pains delivered from those compact POS. No way. Never again.
Thank you for exposing the nightmare of a simple radiator exchange. Totally convinced to dump this POS. You're the bomb bro. I've watched and learned from you before. Sorry about trashing the Sienna - but it's so over rated in opinion. I think it's just a plastic piece of shit.
What about transmission fluid
Add a bit of u have to check it first
Thanks
@@RBTheMechanic how do I know how much transmission fluid to add?
@@justine5804 u have to check with dipstick this one has transmission dipstick mostlikely it’s .5 quart
@@RBTheMechanic I just checked my dipstick for the transmission fluid and it's wet way above hot or cold marking.
Is this normal?
.....uhmm... I will drain the antifreeze first..But...its okay...
