These high end brands are GOUGING us with their prices; their profit margins are incomprehensible. And it's justified by the idea of a free market. So, according to free market principles, other brands are also justified in offering competitive prices for similar/dupe products.
Sometimes when it does come to the affordable beauty the quality don’t come with it, coming from a high-end makeup lover , i absolutely love elf, they are not only affordable but the products them self are better than some high end!!!! Elf definitely been keeping up with them for years!!!!
I like the E.L.F. Halo Glow filters!
I am torn about dupe culture because on the one hand I hate when a big brand dupes a smaller brand’s makeup. I remember last year a small British lip company had their lip mask duplicated (even the packaging!) by bigger brand. But-I don’t mind when one big brand dupes another big brand. Like I don’t think Charlotte Tillbury’s team cares about E.L.F. Since they have a solid foot in the cosmetics industry.
I should try the under eye brightener!
I think the E.L.F. liquid blushes are great for those who think Juvia’s Place liquid blushes are too pigmented.

I love Elf Cosmetic, even though it's portable, but it's good quality. Sometimes, you can't buy high-end products. I went today to pick up a couple of things from Elf.
The complexion duo brush is my fav brush ever too! I also own about 3 of them 💕 Their new blushes and lip oils are soo good.
My opinion on dupes: I don't care if a product is a dupe or if a brand dupes a lot. There's no moral outrage for me. I think of it like generic cereal. I'm not mad at generic cereal and I'm not mad at generic creams and powders. I also enjoy dupes if there is a brand that someone won't purchase from for whatever reason, but they can have something similar.
Also, makeup has such huge profit margins, I can't imagine that CT is suffering because of ELF. And if they were, I still wouldn't care lol. They're multimillionaires over there. I feel the same with Alter Ego duping palettes from Natasha Denona, ABH, and Pat McGrath.
