I love the glow, so smooth and just such a natural glow
I was literally that person running to EVERY store looking for Halo Glow. Am I ever glad I finally have it. Gives my regular foundation a boost when I mix them. I thought I was the only person who didn’t like those putty blush and bronzers. They did that dry, separating thing when first tried them. Not ‘creamy’ or ‘hydrating’ at all. I have been loving Elf’s camo powder foundation. I have combo skin and it does so well on my t zone. Love it!
This is such a great idea for a series, Cat. I’m really enjoying it. Honestly I’ve been purging makeup and this is helping with what I should be keeping. ❤❤

I thought I was the only one that thought the luminous putty blushes were dry! I do have the Camo powder foundation and I'm looking forward to using it more in the hot and humid weather! I think Elf really make good products. I think the influencers knocking it, are just not getting the 'kickbacks' like they do from the expensive highend brands...

You've made me curious about the CC foundation. I tried it a couple years ago and hated it. It didn't last 3 hours and really didn't look good on my skin from the first application. I know people who love it and just can't see it. So maybe they did reformulate it? I love so much elf I'm not sure I could come up with a top 5. This is a great series.

But, after repurchasing it and trying it again, wow! 😳 it feels like a different formula! Now, I did use a glowy primer underneath the Halo Glow Liquid Filter, and I think that was a huge factor! I am a color pop blush girl and YES the Elf blushes do have the goop! I love Halo glow, thank you for convincing me to try it!! I enjoy the concealer pen too, not sure how I feel about the pen part! I’ve tested that elf concealer pen in store and was pleasantly surprised with the coverage. You’re right the hydrating and original concealer didn’t work for me either.
It's my go-to concealer @speca 💗 it even out performs the highend concealers I have! 😍

I have two different colors of the halo glow. I use the darker shade for contour! It comes out beautifully. I use my putty glow blush and it seems good to me so far. I love, love there new lipstick!!! They wear beautifully on my 59 year old lips!

Hi Cat….I really enjoy ELF products but for some reason my local drug store only has a limited amount of ELF products so I have to order from the website. I’ve been hit with paying duty so I try not to order too often. My last order had the satin lipsticks and the luminous blush. I’m going to keep an eye on the blush now that you mentioned the consistency changes. I have a mini size of the charlotte tilbury flawless filter. I use it as a highlighter but once I’m done with it, I plan on changing to the ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter….huge price difference. You are looking lovely as always. My Target finally got the Halo Glow in stock which is where I purchased it. This stuff is gorgeous! I like to use it under my foundation, especially now during February when my skin is driest. My experience with the luminous putty blush/bronzers is that while they are very pretty on the skin, they don't last. After application, an hour later they have completely disappeared regardless of what foundation I'm wearing. I agree, very disappointing. I'll try using them again during the summer over my tinted sunscreen when I wear less makeup. Regarding their cream eyeshadows, I prefer the crayon sticks. Very easy to use and blendable. I bought 2 of their cream pot shadows and don't like them at all. They go on super pigmented and dry too fast to get them blended out. One of the shades I bought is called Canyon and is supposed to be a soft pink color. It's more peach but on the skin it is bright orange! And again, dried too fast to blend or sheer out so I looked ridiculous. It's also very matte so it accentuates the crepey texture of my lids. ☹ I do love the new Oh Face lipstick, I now have 4 shades...gorgeous! I have heard many people compare it to the Nars lipstick. Sand Dune is such a unique shade, not a shimmer, exactly, but for some reason, it looks smoothing on the lids. I have seen the other shades and wondered if they would add texture! I have the shade Canyon, too! I thought it was going to be a soft peach shade, but, omg! It's definitely orange! 😳 yikes! The O Satin Face lipsticks are wonderful! What is your favorite shade?! @@CatsEyeBeauty I've been trying to decide which of the 4 shades of elf's O Face lipstick is my favorite. I think it's Standing Ovation and it's the 1st shade I purchased. I tend to reach for it the most of the 4 I have. It's the perfect nude shade, not too brown or too pink. 🥰

I agree with all your picks! Does the halo glow accentuate texture? Im always so afraid of glowy products due to my large pores and texture. ELF has some amazing products
Hello @Kelly Marie 🥰 how are you, my beautiful friend?! I don't think it accentuates my pores, but you can always use a pore filling primer prior to applying the Halo Glow Liquid Filter! If you do purchase it, try applying it to the areas of your complexion where you want that hydration and glowiness 😍 sometimes I use a pore filling primer in the center of my face and then a glowy one on the parameter of my face lol 🤣 sounds like alot, but it's super effective! Elf has many great products! I finally picked up a few and love the brighten concealer & bronzer but the putty blush seems to be dry or something.

I like the shadow sticks for the lids only and then a brown or bronzer on crease. I just find they don’t last , but then again I got the first ones they came out with lol
The matte shadow sticks last longer than the shimmers, I think! Perfect for that one and done eyeshadow look! 🥰

Hallo Cat, my comments disappeared, so sorry if duplicate comment. First of all love this series. I haven't tried the elf sunscreen yet. But I mostly just use mineral sunscreen. How are you doing? Looking beautiful in this video. I do like the halo glow, the new elf lipstick, toners, hemp oil , correctors, brow wiz and I only like the concealer you showed. I am now going to have to pull out those cream blushes I don't think I have used them in awhile. For camo cc foundation and concealer I hate them tossed will not try the foundation again 😂. Just so many others I like. I also like elf giant powder brush and I have only two elf eyeshadow palettes the stayed in my stash after big declutter I did end of 2022. Cookies and cream and a neutral brown bite one. If I see at the store the new orange to brown bite size I might get those. Great fun to watch thank you and much love to a great week ahead. 🤎💚🤎

Omg, I did NOT like the Camo CC cream foundation when it first released, but, I recently bought a new one a month or so ago, and I'm convinced it's different! I had reviewed it when it first came out and I swear, I never touched it again 🤣 it's definitely full coverage! Maybe my skin has changed over the last couple of years 🤔 it's interesting to go back and test products again and come up with a different result!

I have to try the Hydrating Core Lip Shine. I loved the Sheer Slick Lipstick, but they discontinued it for some reason. 🤷 The SRSLY Satin Lipstick in Cider is a perfect everyday shade for me, but it looks like they might be discontinuing that, too - and the Ride or Die lip balm! Quit it, e.l.f.!

So the blush and bronzer in the pots get weird after a few weeks but the eyeshadow in the pot remains great?? Haven't tried any of them in the pots yet.
Hello @JULIE Laite ❤️ yes, for some reason, the putty blushes gets a film on top, however, you just need to heat it up with your fingertips to get it malleable again. The color is still beautiful! 🥰
You don't have to sell me on the Halo Glow, I love it! :^)) I wear it over any of my foundations and it helps to give a more blended look and just the right amount of glow..In regards to the luminous putty blush and the putty blush they work fine for me..The three colors I have are Bermuda, Bali and Maui and they blend really nice..As far as the film you are talking about, I find they do get a little grungy after each use if that's what you mean, and what I do before I apply it is I run my finger across it a few times to shave off the crud and smooth it out..Then I apply it with my duel-ended putty brush and it blends nicely..I'm wondering if maybe some of the other colors have more of a film, I dunno..So far I'm happy with the ease of application and the result..I'm a drugstore girl, not that I can't afford the higher end I just don't see the point of spending that kind of money when cosmetic companies have upped their game making products that are just as good if not better than the higher priced makeup..I appreciate you beauty influencers bringing some of these Elf products to my attention ..Of course it's hit and miss as with any cosmetic line but I am doing quite nicely with many of these drugstore cosmetic products..

Does, too 😩 I have the dual ended complexion brush from ELF, one of my favorites, and I used it in those cream blushes. I'll try scraping the "crud" off of it and see if that helps! I actually use Cool Beans as an eyeliner! Just take a small angled brush and brush it onto the eyeshadow crayon and it works like a dream! 😍
