Oh hell yes!! Gotta say long time viewer, first time poster. I can’t thank you two enough for this channel, you have transformed two step for my wife and i. we started from the beginners playlist and now working on the intermediate playlist. just scored some evenin star boots this morning as we are in rock port TX. plan on visiting your studios in the houston area (or maybe even the woodland to event!) on our way out of the state. and are also joining the online studio (you guys did an amazing job on that!). again, thanks for everything you guys do, and i can’t wait to get this dialed for this weekend. Cheers!!! ps. just booked tickets for the woodlands stop on the tour, can’t wait to see u both there!! =]

So you’ve like been keeping your viewing a secret? 😂
Thanks for being here and for joining X Dance. We would love to see you at one of the bootcamps too. We expect the San Antonio workshops to be pretty big and, of course, The Woodlands is our home studio.
Thanks again. We appreciate your support!

Thanks for another Two-Step video :) Can you make a video on dance etiquette?
Country Swing/One-Steppers are blocking the outer passing lane.

That is an important one and a good idea! Thanks for the suggestion

I practiced this routine today with my instructor and took a minute to figure out that my QQS out of hammerlock, starts with leader's right foot. I didn't know that was legal but it worked out just fine. Thanks

Glad you worked it out. The timing is explained in the video… there is a section that the leader dances 3 slows in a row while the follower dances qqqqs.
      Btw… “legal” isn’t a thing haha

I'm curious if you're going to add any Triple 2 or shuffle videos to your channel ?. I'm can't speak to what they are playing in country clubs in Houston but I know here in San Antonio, 2-step songs are really not common anymore and haven't been for over 10 years. The bulk of the songs played lend themselves more to a triple-2 or shuffle musically especially tempo-wise. Sometimes there will be a NC2 or a waltz, and maybe 2 2 step songs but then it will be 8 triple-twos songs.

Hi there. Every community is different for sure. We *may* add a little TR2 at some point in the future.

I always tell new partners the three rules of country dance. One, the guy leads. Two, whatever goes wrong is the guy's fault. Three, have fun! In my years of dancing I've seen couples who are far too serious and never smile or laugh. It's dancing! Love your videos!

And I bet you’re very popular on the dance floor 😁

Could you do this pattern and still maintain "quick quick, slow slow" timing for advanced beginner students....??

Hi there. Most of it is in qqss with the exception of where it "breaks the wrist" and into the shoulder catch. That would be very difficult to do in straight qqss as there is a double turn.
The easy answer is probably not.

I like watching your excellent videos... But the music during INTROs and OUTROs is excessively loud.
