- 2 Step Dancing is the most popular style of country dancing. Anthony and Rose of Country Dance X teach you one 2step move that can be done in many different ways when 2 stepping.
In 2step dance (also known as Texas 2 Step), there really are only a few different moves that you need to know. Once you know the basic steps of how to 2 step country, you can simply change one or two things about those 2 Step dance moves and look like you know hundreds of country 2 step moves.

i just got back from Vegas( gilleys and Stoney's) and started watching more of your videos, i feel like i learn a new move every time i watch, my goal is a new video/move a week. but seem to watch daily now. getting ready for branding iron tonight (2 step practice) Montana's on the weekend, and Laughlin next week. you guys got me hooked on 2 step. LOL thanks for everything.

Thank you for the concept. The real challenge, for sure, is switching from 4 beats to 6 beats. To make it simple for unfamiliar followers I will try to stick to 4 beats and do a half basic to get the proper foot lead. I will also experiment with the 6 beats, how easy to lead the opposite turns. Thank you so much

I love the way you demostrate the different turns explaining both parts. Requested before on many comments and still would like to see you make a video explaing continual turns going down line of dance both in 2 step and waltz....the girls part and the boys part would be a plus.
We're so glad you enjoyed it! We'd love to understand what you mean by "continual turns"... lots of different terminology for the same things.
@@countrydancex Continual turns would be traveling down line of dance, partnerts facing each other, continually spinning in a turn in two-step but simular when you see turns in a waltz as they travel down the line of dance and turn continually several turns in a row.

Cool nice stuff , however doing the alternate timing of quick quick slow, I think that might be harder to lead if the followers are not to familiar with that timing. Could this still be done using the standard quick quick slow slow with out messing up the moves ?
Understand where you’re coming from. QQS QQS is a standard rhythm of Two Step and shouldn’t be any problem to follow when lead correctly. This move wouldn’t be possible with a QQSS rhythm.
